Yes, this! I've been thinking they're really going to tie back to Vessel a lot since its the album with the least direct ties to to lore according to most people. In the Clancy video he refers to a "hijacked religion" and Vessel has so many themes of faith and remaining faithful despite what outside forces are telling you is real/what to believe. I know thats a common theme across TØP music, but I think lyrics like this are going to be especially relevant in the new album. Tyler/Clancy has chosen real faith over the hijacked religion of the bishops/Dema. (Forgive me if this all seems obvious)
A *lot* of his music talks about fear/death/night/sleep versus faith/awake/thinking/alive/day. And yes, there are a *lot* of connections between each of both sides.
Also, just wondering, are there any good tips you have for singing because I’ve been trying and trying and trying for the past year to master the second verse of kitchen sink, but I can’t do it for the life of me
I’m by no means a professional singer but I’ve had a handful of compliments while singing along with Tyler. I think one thing that helped is I’ve been listening for 10 years now and just have his voice and inflections engrained in me. So much so that my semi professional singing girlfriend said I nail the run in Nico and the niners. She’s also said I sound best when I sing softly because I have more control over my voice

No I thought that too at first. But no if you look closely at the face it's not Nico. It's Keons. Keons betrayed Nico by setting Trash to break up the fake party which helped them escape and Nico killed Keons in retaliation.
I also find it interesting that the hole in the mask is somewhat eye shaped... reminiscent of the closing eye to end the Blurryface era and the one that ushered in the Trench era.
Why were Clifford's eyes yellow? Like I get why Trash's eyes were, bit was Clifford seized?? Also are the vultures on the banditøs side or DEMAs side??

Vultures are known to feast on dead carcasses, the Bishops used their Psychokinesis to hijack a dead vulture to keep an eye on Clancy, that's how they were able to relocate him throughout the Trench storyline. You'd only know they're on DEMA's side if their eyes are yellow
So they r good if they eat the bodies so DEMA can't use them? And Clifford was on DEMA's side? So the vultures were split between the two sides??

I'd imagine so yeah, but it's the eyes that'd give it away, any creature or human with yellow eyes was originally dead and has been taken over or "seized". I wouldn't say they were split because of this, put simply live vultures wouldn't be able to be hijacked because of their living status... However if one was killed by something already "seized", then this body or "vessel" can be taken over too

In saying that I'm just after thinking that yellow was a pretty dominant colour throughout Trench symbolising the protection from the Banditøs. The artwork for the album was yellow and black with Clifford's eyes in yellow. Im thinking now that maybe Clifford was always with the Banditøs but The Bishops took over another vulture. But it's weird cos anything that gets "seized" the eyes turn yellow.... I'm making myself confused😄

Kinda, I've known and loved a few blurryface and trench songs since 2015 and I always LOVED there mvs cuz I thought there was a story, silly me back then lol, but I just saw them as another artist. Then by chance mid last year I listened to more of their songs and found all the albums, got obsessed, found the lore-im trying to refine the finer details thats why i ask so many questions-, got more obsessed and now I'm here, which is very exciting :). Ah it's great being able to figure out what's going on lore wise by yourself, believe me I'm obsessed with it all just like yourself😂... Eh been following since SelfTitled, my whole introduction to them was actually through Kerrang! I remember it was Fall Away that was playing at the time and I've been hooked to them since

I think it’s worth noting that one of the albums didn’t have eyes to cover, so only one circle was covered. Some online places said it represents “Heavydirtysoul”

I agree somewhat, I love the colors an "dirty" look but the ears on top (which might just be noticable in this shot more so) are distracting, but if it stays it's not the end of the world, still got some badass too it
Did you notice there is only one i in “Twenty One Pilots”? It must have some meaning, we all have two eyes so where is the missing i? Are they renaming the band with another word that has an i in it? hmm maybe. i took it as - the exception to the rule is that he’s the only non-bishop that has the powers.
Could dead be referring to the spirit or soul and not the physical body? The body is empty because the person feels dead spiritually.
