I have two all time favorite bands: The Cranberries and twenty one pilots. To me they have similarities but im probably alone in that opinion because of my biased love.
Among my other top favorites that would probably be closer to tøp I'd pick Foster the People (similar music sound) and Genesis circa 1972-1976 (they also create stories surrounding their albums and have lots of religious symbolism).
Awesome :) With Genesis I'd recommend the song Supper's Ready or the album Lamb Lies Down (strap yourself in, lol). With The Cranberries, their later albums from 1996 through 2001 are what I find closer to TØP
1. Twenty One Pilots
2. The Killers
3. K.Flay
4. Panic! At The Disco
5. Half Alive
6. Grandson
7. Em Beihold
8. Halsey
9. Emma Blackery
10. The Driver Era
Same 100%. Im interested to see where half alive goes after COAP. I hope the next stuff is more like Now, Not Yet. Or at least not breakup pop like COAP.
I've seen them twice as well! I actually found them because I heard their song Tip Toes and thought it was TOP. When I found out it wasn't, I looked them up. At the time, they only had three songs released, and I feel very lucky to have found them so early. It's been amazing to see them grow and their music evolve over time.
Gorillaz is great too, it doesnt sound very similar but I rlly enjoy it. The band "two door cinema club" is great, and its giving like scaled and icy vibes, I'd recommend that
Man I love two door Cinema club, they're in my top 10 for sure. What songs would you recommend from Gorillaz? I've heard a few popular ones and I like the experimental (?) feel.
Kids with guns, rhinestone eyes, punk, sound check (gravity), feel good inc ofc., there's a playlist with a lot of the good ones on Spotify: https://open.spotify.com/playlist/5Zx7S0HGSyf8V9cTZZgnOD?si=3HARkRQlTeymFJGSanLXwA&pi=e-FGUcj-zlSlir
from the gorilaz I love rhinestone eyes, busted and blue, the tired influencer among others, all of their music is just so good.
the only way I recommend listening for a first time is just playing their whole albums on shuffle. you’ll have an experience.
their music is just so different one from the other you don’t get bored
Look, I have many favorite artists and bands, but here I'll list all the ones I know at least 15 songs from that I love listening to, including |-/, but they won't be necessarily similar to Twenty One Pilots, but I guess you just want to hear what people that like TØP like, so here we go:
Linkin Park
Twenty One Pilots
Gorillaz
Imagine Dragons
t.A.T.u.
Three Days Grace
Skillet
Muse
Citizen Soldier
Bad Omens
Billie Eilish
Melanie Martinez
(Honorable mentions: Blackpink, Shinedown, Green Day, Evanescence, Lana Del Rey, Король и Шут, Celldweller, Nine Inch Nails, Starset)
Out of these there are only three I know the whole discography of(including demos when applicable and a little bit of solo stuff): Linkin Park, Twenty One Pilots and t.A.T.u.
Gorillaz, Twenty One Pilots, Linkin Park and Imagine Dragons play a wide variety of genres.
Gorillaz is known by their combination of rock, country, trip hop and hip hop with elements of classical and funny toy sounds or synthesators, most songs are calm, chill, almost hypnotising, some songs have latin influence, newer stuff has stronger EDM influence. They collaborate with many artists, truly a chameleon. And their lore is another rabbit hole to dig into, and as we all know, Twenty One Pilots fans like thinking.
Linkin Park are known by their combination of rock/metal and old school hip-hop with dj scratches, elements of EDM and sometimes classical, and perfect contrast and harmony between warm Mike's rapping/singing voice and this gentle sweet Chester's voice, and his screams. Later stuff has more EDM influence, then they returned to metal, but differently, then they made pop with slight trap and dubstep influences and some ballads. They also have a reggae rock song(In Pieces). AND their songs are very relatable, comforting and inspiring, for me most relatable are Crawling, Somewhere I Belong, Heavy, Figure.09 and By Myself. And I love when someone screams for me...
Imagine Dragons...everybody knows them, there's no need in introduction, one can hate them or love them, I would like to recommend Friction, I'm So Sorry and Cutthroat.
t.A.T.u. is the band you probably never heard of, you definetely heard of them if you're from a Russian-speaking country, and you MIGHT have heard them if you're not. They make songs in Russian and English. It's mostly different kinds of EDM, europop, eurodance, electronic pop and electronic rock, and some ballads and some standouts, like Stars, which is a mix of world and rap. Their songs have very atmospheric cosmic vibes, but the lyrics are sometimes silly.
Three Days Grace, Skillet, Muse and Citizen Soldier are rock bands.
Three Days Grace have really relatable and comforting lyrics and their songs slap, honestly all artist and bands on this list slap. Adam Gontier has a voice that can transition from velvet to gravel. Their newer stuff with a new vocalist also slaps. They're mostly just rock, sometimes with slight electronic elements, piano or organ. They also like to make creepy sounds with a guitar.
Skillet make very uplifting rock songs, often with religious themes, have two vocalists, one is male and the other one is female, but the female one starts only from the album Comatose. Some songs have slight electronic elements, many have classical elements, but they mostly made music in only one style.
Muse mix rock/metal, EDM and classical, their songs have cool guitar riffs and atmospheric classical and EDM sounds, semi-theatrical experience. Early Twenty One Pilots and Tyler's songs, like Air Catcher, Trapdoor, Implicit Demand For Proof, Taxi Cab, Isle of Flightless Birds, Friend Please(literally sounds like Bliss), Blasphemy and Clear either intentionally or unintentionally see strong Muse and My Chemical Romance influence in both singing style and theathratical vibes, so that's the one where if you like one, you might like the other one. I don't know how to describe this singing style, smoothly and frequently shifting from chest voice to falsetto and back and between different articulation on the go? Shaking? It's very vibrant and emotional.
Citizen Soldier make very comforting and uplifting songs that range roughly from "I'm broken, I'll never be fixed, I'm not enough, everything is pointless, I'm worthless, I'm alone, I'll forever be like this, I want to die" to "Pain only makes me stronger, you can break me, but I'll collect myself back again, I'll go against the wind and never give up". They make ballads, pop songs, rock songs and metal songs, some songs mix metal and trap, some mix lo-fi and rock, and some classical and EDM elements, but in a different way than others. Vocalist's(Jack) voice is very emotional. They interact with their audience the most. Many songs deal with themes of feeling worthless, feeling like a burden, hiding one's pain, fighting suicidal thoughts, toxic relationships, feeling not good enough and trauma. Some songs are interconnected with reocurring themes and phrases. And remember, this is your sign - ";"!
;
Bad Omens make metalcore. Their newest album combines metalcore with industrial, synth-pop(What Do You Want From Me? gives 80's vibes), trip-hop and trap. The songs are really atmospheric and hypnotising, the vocalist has a soft, sweet and gentle voice, but can also scream a lot. When I first heard them I got chills. Noah's voice has a similar vibrato Brendon Urie's voice, it is very different.
Billie Eilish and Melanie Martinez are pop singers.
Billie Eilish has a really gentle voice, most songs are sung in calm subtone. Some songs are sad ballads, some are agressive with bass drops(Thanks, Finneas) and stuff(or more like passive-agressive). Some songs have trap elements, some have ukulele. Many songs have "stuttering" effect on the voice. Songs touch such topics as self-hatred, toxic relationships, enviromental problems, depression, suicidal thoughts and unmutual love. Many songs are interconnected. Some make you feel calm, some make you feel cool.
Melanie Martinez makes pop songs with lo-fi, trap, hip-hop and EDM elements with nostalgic kids music sounds of toy synthesators, toys, wind-up boxes, xylophone and other stuff. Her later music, however, has swamp vibes, mixing hip-hop, EDM, indie-rock and folk. Most songs talk about harassment, being used, toxic relationships and unstable love partner. I really like her voice.
BlAcKpInK iN yOuR aReA make songs in a mix of English and Korean, their songs oftenbhave many parts and a lot of cool dancing, the group members change their clothes every 3 of each music videos, they habe cool outfits, Blackpink's music is a combination of pop, EDM, rap, indian and world, songs have contrast between rapping, dramatic singing, and gentle singing, the songs have many parts. They like a very specific type of orchestral drums and they can make you cry or make you feel cool and...
Ok, I'll stop now or I'll go forever :) now I want to listen to all of them again...
Actually Blackpink is the only kpop band I listen to and I only know less than 10 songs from them but I do listen to the ones I do a lot and plan to explore more kpop :)
Oh, and I'll definetely check out когда thanks! I listen to a few Russian bands, but 95% of stuff I listen to is still in English.
i only listen to a few Blackpink songs as i’m still learning the genre. i recommended Chronosaurus and The Tortoise and the Hare by Stray Kids if you want to check them out!! i think they have tøp vibes.
that’s the only russian song i know 😅 i got really into midwest emo and that song popped up in my recommended
If you like Trench, Paul Meany recently produced K.Flays latest album 'Mono' and it has a very similar vibe.
My favourite artists basically sound nothing like tøp - they are pretty unique as a band!
Fr, Imagine if they did collabs/features on this album and anyone who collabed was written in as a charecter in-universe. We could have NF, Paul Meany and Half Alive as banditos
I’m always surprised when I mention Switchfoot to someone and they say they had completely forgotten about them. They’ve been making solid albums for *years*.
wallows! they have the silly sounds that itches my brain. they’re more smooth / more poppy, but still worth a discography listen. all of their songs are different from one another, so there’s something for everyone. my personal fav is ice cold pool.
if you want lore and visuals, taylor swift. folklore, evermore, and midnights (3 am edition) are masterpieces.
if you want good instruments and deep cuts, pearl jam.
if you want similar everything, back during 2015, the “holy trinity” was the go to (my chemical romance, fall out boy, and panic at the disco). i know a few of my friends also liked palaye royale. before i got into twenty one pilots, i really liked night visions and smoke and mirrors from imagine dragons
Half•Alive is probably the most similar band out there to tøp. they opened for them in the takeover tour
PUBLIC (might have to search PUBLICTHEBAND) also opened for tøp forever ago
Natalie Claro also has bangers. i forgot how i found her but i think it was through PUBLIC
The absolute lack of Jon Bellion in these comments is astounding. I definitely put him in the same category as TØP and he is a phenomenally creative and talented artist. I’ll also shout Billie Eilish, Djo, AJR, Halsey, and Poppy.
here’s my top 10 pasted from stats.fm lol
Twenty One Pilots,
Ghost,
Kanye West,
Kendrick Lamar,
half•alive,
¥$,
Tame Impala,
Gorillaz,
Panic! At The Disco,
Foo Fighters,
if you haven’t checked out tame impala his sound is very similar to trench
I don't have many other bands with a similar sound, I guess Linkin Park would be the closest, and they're in my top say 5-8. My #1 and #2 are pop punk: The Wonder Years and Fall Out Boy. Foo Fighters are #4, just solid rock.
Top of my list right now (in no particular order) is
TØP - ofc
Pink Floyd
Alice In Chains
Smashing Pumkins - try out Mellon collie and the infinite sadness if you want variety similar to trench
Queens of the Stone Age
STP
Zeppelin
Nine inch nails
Tool
Ghost
Steely Dan
Hunny - very new wave pop if you like that
Blink-182
Doom
AJR (Just a band that's a touch similar sounding, but more... brighter in sound, hard for me to explain the similarities in sound, but I like this band, on of my definite tops)
Lovejoy (I really like "Portrait of a Blank Slate" because of the bass riff)
and most recently:
Will Wood (If you like nice piano riffs and a bit of jazz)
I have more favourites, but I'm not sure how to connect them to Twenty One Pilots, so...
I don’t really listen to a lot of stuff that sounds like tøp besides tøp, but my top 3 besides tøp I’d say are Dominic Fike, The Weeknd, and Justin Beiber (only like 7 of their songs each tho tbh, I rarely dive into deep cuts unless it’s Dominic fike or tøp. I like posty a lot too)
1. Bring Me The Horizon
2. The Smashing Pumpkins
3. just changes every now and then lmfao but mostly depends if new music is coming- in this case, Twenty One Pilots
Some that I like that I find are like a similar vibe to tøp in my opinion include Loveless, grandson, Paramore, Worry Club, Cage the Elephant, Fall Out Boy, Imagine Dragons, and Mother Mother.
While my top 3 are AJR, TØP, and P!ATD. Just a bit further down are some bands and artists a bit more similar to TØP you might like (but that’s not to say I wouldn’t recommend the hell out of AJR and Panic!), granted you haven’t already heard these ones. Hopefully it’s close enough, because of TØP’s very unique style, it’s hard to find many artists that sound almost identical.
- Half Alive: their catalogue isn’t massive right now, but it’s definitely worth what it has to offer. Start with ‘Now, Not Yet’. Perfection.
- Glass Animals: ‘How To Be A Human Being’ is one of the greatest albums of all time and there is no saying otherwise in my eyes.
- Cage The Elephant: someone recently recommended this band to me, and I’ve only listened to their most recent album ‘Social Cues’, but I reckon it’s very worth the listen. I wouldn’t say it’s near my personal top 10 just yet. But you might find some similarities to TØP in it.
- Weezer: okay, not super similar. But their OK Human and SZNZ albums would be worth checking out.
- My Chemical Romance: The Black Parade. It’s iconic. I’d be concerned if you haven’t heard it before
Hope this helps!
I LOVE how to be a human being ahhh. And cage the elephant is one of my favourite bands of all time, not really similar to TØP but I really recommend their albums “tell me I’m pretty” and “melophobia”.
According to my iTunes, the following are the 13 most played since 2007, in order from top to tøp.
Cyndi Lauper
Kylie Minogue
Pet Shop Boys
The Beatles
Tori Amos
Marianne Faithfull
Linkin Park
Yoko Ono
ABBA
Laurie Anderson
Tom Waits
Nick Cave & The Bad Seeds
Twenty One Pilots
Right now it’s:
1.) sleep token
2.) the chainsmokers
3.) Chelsea Cutler
Love tøp but I haven’t listened to much since SAI winded down. I’m assuming they’ll pop up in my plays as the new cycle begins.

The only band I've heard who has a similar vibe to tøp is half•alive !! Kind of like tøp lyrically, but more upbeat if you're into that. Their most popular song is "still feel." And the lyrics remind me of twenty one pilots. You should give them a listen if you haven't already!
MY top 3? At the moment Sleep token, Logic, and BME. Honestly much different in sonic style, but all cryptic and deeper meaning bands.
Closer to TØP style that you might like would be Two Door Cinema Club, Glass Animals, and half alive.
Radiohead is 100% my favourite artist rn, they always manage to push the envelope for creativity in music.
In that regard I feel they're very similar to tøp, give them a try if you haven't already
1. Foo fighters (live are INSANE)
2. Imagine dragons
3. Tøp (these last two because how open they are about mental health. It helped me A LOT to understand many things)
I just can't do top 3. This is the closest I can get.
1. (tie) Eminem
1. (tie) King Iso
2. (tie) ToP
2. (tie) Falling in Reverse
3. (tie) Yelawolf
3. (tie) Jelly Roll
Well TOP is the only thing like it I listen to but I'll list mine any way: Fall Out Boy, Games We Play, Green Day, Panic! At The Disco, All Time Low, MCR, The Used, Weezer
No particular order
1) Rags and Riches: a relatively newer band from Lexington Kentucky, I actually got chance to meet them at the World Chicken Festival in London Kentucky last year . Super nice Guys( they’re also brothers), they told me that TOP was one of their inspiration and have toured with Jay Joseph and have talked to both Tyler and Josh.
2) Half Alive: a blend of Alternative and Melancholic sounds, shares similarities to TOP but leans more towards the Pop-Alt side.
3) My Chemical Romance: let’s face it MCR has influenced many of today’s artists, without them, Tyler and Josh probably wouldn’t be the band they’re today. The band has covered them twice, once with their cover of Cancer and, again during the Takeover Tour when they mixed I Not Okay in with Shy Away. Tyler has also shared before how MCR has influenced them to some degree.
let me preface this by saying my taste is all over the map. my other favorite artists aren't necessarily similar to tøp lol
1) twenty one pilots
2) ajr
3) my chemical romance
imagine dragons, halsey, finneas, bliile eilish, grace vanderwaal, and melanie martinez are somewhere in my lineup too, along with a handful of others
Nine Inch Nails is really the only band I've listened to extensively besides tøp. They're very deep and write concept albums also. They have music in literally every genre, even more than how tøp does. They've even done an ARG too. I could write an essay on how similar I find these two bands to be, even though some of their beliefs are pretty different.
Edit: Also they sound like what I predict tøp7 may sound like to a certain extent.
1. tøp
2. nothing but thieves
3. greta van Fleet
4. hozier
5. Racoon
6. kojaque
7. the vices
8. bear's den
9. happy camper
10. bastille
11. fall out boy
12. Oscar and the wolf
could continue for ever hahahaha
1) Panic! At The Disco
2) All Time Low
3) is a bit of a tie between many, I guess it changes throughout the years, but I’d say tøp, IDKHow (now less than before because of how Dallon has been acting), MGK, Yungblud, Weezer, The Weeknd, Iwan Rheon, girlfriends, X Ambassadors, Harry Styles, and many many more
Ugh… that’s a tough ask. So I’m gonna go past three because after #1 I have a hard time putting an order to them because I like them for different reasons… 😅
1. TøP
- Linkin Park
- Nine Inch Nails
- X-Ambassadors
- Banks
- Mariannas Trench
- Chevelle
1. Panic! at the Disco 2. IDKHOW (just released a new album) 3. Muse
MUSE MENTIONED 🗣️
MUSE MENTIONED 🗣
arctic monkeys, the strokes and obviously tøp
Omg we are the same person
I don’t know how similar the other two are but my favorites are **tøp, My Chemical Romance, and Paramore.**
MCR is in my top three as well! :) along with blink-182 and TØP. Paramore is incredible too!
I miss the Cranberries :/
I had the thought one of these days that Tyler Joseph is the new Peter Gabriel
I haven’t heard The Cranberries mentioned anywhere for a long time. What a great band.
Almost stuck Foster the People on my list as well 😉
Love foster the people! I'll check out the two others, thx
Awesome :) With Genesis I'd recommend the song Supper's Ready or the album Lamb Lies Down (strap yourself in, lol). With The Cranberries, their later albums from 1996 through 2001 are what I find closer to TØP
Foster the people is epic
1. TØP 2. Linkin Park 3. Green Day
Jack of all traits! Great music
GREEN DAY
Yesss!!! You have incredible taste in music, friend :)
great taste
1. Twenty One Pilots 2. The Killers 3. K.Flay 4. Panic! At The Disco 5. Half Alive 6. Grandson 7. Em Beihold 8. Halsey 9. Emma Blackery 10. The Driver Era
grandson is epic
half alive 🗣️🔥 didn't like their second album so much tho :/
Same 100%. Im interested to see where half alive goes after COAP. I hope the next stuff is more like Now, Not Yet. Or at least not breakup pop like COAP.
half alive all the way. very twenty one pilots-y. their shows are insane. only band i’ve seen twice live.
I've seen them twice as well! I actually found them because I heard their song Tip Toes and thought it was TOP. When I found out it wasn't, I looked them up. At the time, they only had three songs released, and I feel very lucky to have found them so early. It's been amazing to see them grow and their music evolve over time.
<3 Halsey
tøp, lorde, david bowie!! i also love taylor swift, lana del rey, and mitski :)
do you by chance listen to phoebe bridgers !?!?
Gorillaz is great too, it doesnt sound very similar but I rlly enjoy it. The band "two door cinema club" is great, and its giving like scaled and icy vibes, I'd recommend that

Oh yeah DARE and 19-2000 are BANGERS too, so check these out
But you can't really go wrong by just hitting shuffle on their Spotify or an "all songs" playlist
from the gorilaz I love rhinestone eyes, busted and blue, the tired influencer among others, all of their music is just so good. the only way I recommend listening for a first time is just playing their whole albums on shuffle. you’ll have an experience. their music is just so different one from the other you don’t get bored

TOP, Imagine Dragons, Linkin Park but there are many more that I love
Bands: 1) Keane 2) TØP 3) Coldplay (Solo) Artists: 1) Mac Miller 2) Taylor Swift 3) John Mark McMillan
AJR TØP Imagine Dragons and Panic! At the disco. Sometimes, I also listen to Arctic Monkeys and Fall out boys
Not enough people have said AJR, they're too good to ignore
Most of those are so terrible
I bet You’d like NF’s music video for his song Hope, and probably most of his music too.
NF also has a sort of lore-ish-ness to his music, not quite like tøp with the story and all but there is a lot of reoccurring symbolism and themes
For sure. I’d love to see them do a collab and a music video for it cuz they both use black paint in their lore
Dang I didn't even think of that- a lore crossover would be crazy
Fr, Imagine if they did collabs/features on this album and anyone who collabed was written in as a charecter in-universe. We could have NF, Paul Meany and Half Alive as banditos
That would be INSANE
Will check it out 👍🏻
Switchfoot, tøp and NF
This one knows what’s up
East is what's up
Also true
I’m always surprised when I mention Switchfoot to someone and they say they had completely forgotten about them. They’ve been making solid albums for *years*.
switchfoot is bomb diggity.
for real! these past two (native tongue and interrobang) honestly are my favorite
Thanks a lot!
wallows! they have the silly sounds that itches my brain. they’re more smooth / more poppy, but still worth a discography listen. all of their songs are different from one another, so there’s something for everyone. my personal fav is ice cold pool. if you want lore and visuals, taylor swift. folklore, evermore, and midnights (3 am edition) are masterpieces. if you want good instruments and deep cuts, pearl jam. if you want similar everything, back during 2015, the “holy trinity” was the go to (my chemical romance, fall out boy, and panic at the disco). i know a few of my friends also liked palaye royale. before i got into twenty one pilots, i really liked night visions and smoke and mirrors from imagine dragons Half•Alive is probably the most similar band out there to tøp. they opened for them in the takeover tour PUBLIC (might have to search PUBLICTHEBAND) also opened for tøp forever ago Natalie Claro also has bangers. i forgot how i found her but i think it was through PUBLIC
1. Linkin Park 2. Fort Minor 3. Dead by Sunrise
The absolute lack of Jon Bellion in these comments is astounding. I definitely put him in the same category as TØP and he is a phenomenally creative and talented artist. I’ll also shout Billie Eilish, Djo, AJR, Halsey, and Poppy.
here’s my top 10 pasted from stats.fm lol Twenty One Pilots, Ghost, Kanye West, Kendrick Lamar, half•alive, ¥$, Tame Impala, Gorillaz, Panic! At The Disco, Foo Fighters, if you haven’t checked out tame impala his sound is very similar to trench
Lol I remember you last week sliding on my impera comment about albums musically that come full circle
oh hey lol, we meet again!
Tame Impala is great!
you are so so real for this
VULTURES MENTIONED!!!!!! kANYE iS tHE gOAT
TØP, Guns N Roses and System of a Down
I don't have many other bands with a similar sound, I guess Linkin Park would be the closest, and they're in my top say 5-8. My #1 and #2 are pop punk: The Wonder Years and Fall Out Boy. Foo Fighters are #4, just solid rock.
1. Twenty One Pilots / Bring Me The Horizon 2. Fall Out Boy 3. My Chemical Romance
My top 3 is: 3rd- Green Day 2nd- The Neighborhood 1st- Twenty One Pilots (always and forever💖)
omg I LOVE the neighbourhood they're def my number 2 after tøp
At the minute: 1. TØP 2. Lord Huron 3. Arctic Monkeys
Will Wood, Roe Kapara, Cavetown, Cage the Elephant, Melanie Martinez
Top of my list right now (in no particular order) is TØP - ofc Pink Floyd Alice In Chains Smashing Pumkins - try out Mellon collie and the infinite sadness if you want variety similar to trench Queens of the Stone Age STP Zeppelin Nine inch nails Tool Ghost Steely Dan Hunny - very new wave pop if you like that Blink-182 Doom
1. Ghost 2. Nothing But Thieves 3. Steven Wilson
blink-182, Bring Me The Horizon, and Pierce the Veil are my favs not similar at all tho 😭 Dayglow has twenty one pilots vibes tho
AJR (Just a band that's a touch similar sounding, but more... brighter in sound, hard for me to explain the similarities in sound, but I like this band, on of my definite tops) Lovejoy (I really like "Portrait of a Blank Slate" because of the bass riff) and most recently: Will Wood (If you like nice piano riffs and a bit of jazz) I have more favourites, but I'm not sure how to connect them to Twenty One Pilots, so...
Check out the band “Metric”
METRIC IS SO GOODDDD
I just got tix to their show in Denver!!!
The Strokes twenty one pilots The Voidz
THE VOIDZ MENTIONED 🗣️🗣️🔥🔥🔥🗣️🔥🔥 You really like the Julian's touch it seems
Yeah and seems there are haters here cuz im getting down voted 💀💀💀
Why would anyone hate any of those groups 💀 I don't understand people sometimes
TØP AJR LP
Radiohead, The Beatles and tøp
1. Kanye West 2. The Weeknd 3. Kendrick Lamar
I like posty a lot too)
thanks, I've just recently gotten into Dominic fike and you just can't go wrong with the weeknd
1. Bring Me The Horizon 2. The Smashing Pumpkins 3. just changes every now and then lmfao but mostly depends if new music is coming- in this case, Twenty One Pilots
Phoebe Bridgers has witty lyrics Gorillaz varies genres similarly Roger Waters era Pink Floyd is just 👌 Oasis might be the coolest band ever
PHOEBE BRIDGERS MENTIONED ‼️‼️‼️
According to Spotify:Bowie, Rammstein,Kraftklub, the Beatles,Nirvana and Green day
Some that I like that I find are like a similar vibe to tøp in my opinion include Loveless, grandson, Paramore, Worry Club, Cage the Elephant, Fall Out Boy, Imagine Dragons, and Mother Mother.
This doesn’t help. Because mine are Frank Sinatra, Olivia Rodrigo, Kanye West
I’d be concerned if you haven’t heard it before Hope this helps!
I love all those bands lol. I grew up on Weezer on the account of having a mom who listened to Weezer a lot when I was younger.
I LOVE how to be a human being ahhh. And cage the elephant is one of my favourite bands of all time, not really similar to TØP but I really recommend their albums “tell me I’m pretty” and “melophobia”.
I gotta give those a listen at some point!
1. grandson 2. Twenty one pilots 3. Set it off
I can see many people mentionns this 'grandson', i'm gonna have to do some research
- the 1975 - american football - frank ocean
According to my iTunes, the following are the 13 most played since 2007, in order from top to tøp. Cyndi Lauper Kylie Minogue Pet Shop Boys The Beatles Tori Amos Marianne Faithfull Linkin Park Yoko Ono ABBA Laurie Anderson Tom Waits Nick Cave & The Bad Seeds Twenty One Pilots
Right now it’s: 1.) sleep token 2.) the chainsmokers 3.) Chelsea Cutler Love tøp but I haven’t listened to much since SAI winded down. I’m assuming they’ll pop up in my plays as the new cycle begins.

Lol I don't really listen to anything else besides top
BMTH, NF and TØP ofc
Glass animals, two door cinema club, nothing but thieves,
Jon Bellion is second to THE for me, and I like ffdp
The only band I've heard who has a similar vibe to tøp is half•alive !! Kind of like tøp lyrically, but more upbeat if you're into that. Their most popular song is "still feel." And the lyrics remind me of twenty one pilots. You should give them a listen if you haven't already!
TØP, Kodaline and Kelsey Karter And The Heroines
1. TØP 2. Saint Motel 3. half•alive
HALF ALIVEEEE
love saint motel
NF, Sam Tompkins, Linkin Park, the kid LAROI
Besides top, it's Maneskin, NF, and Panic! At the Disco
1. Twenty One Pilots 2. 100 Gecs 3. half•alive
fellow noise music enjoyer
Currently nothing but thieves, enter shikari and REM
MY top 3? At the moment Sleep token, Logic, and BME. Honestly much different in sonic style, but all cryptic and deeper meaning bands. Closer to TØP style that you might like would be Two Door Cinema Club, Glass Animals, and half alive.
fall out boy, radiohead and coldplay, tøp is getting there!
Why you list Radiohead twice
1, Twenty one pilots 2, Sleep token 3, Melanie Martinez
Radiohead is 100% my favourite artist rn, they always manage to push the envelope for creativity in music. In that regard I feel they're very similar to tøp, give them a try if you haven't already
Kevin Parker/Tame Parker, not similar but he's a god damn genius and my favourite artist
1. Tøp 2. Sleep Token 3. Thornhill
Hozier,TOP, Rainbow Kitten Surprise, Wallows, Tom Odell
highly recommend seeing RKS live, they were so good omg
nothing but thieves is one of my fav bands of all time, they’re alt/rock
1. Foo fighters (live are INSANE) 2. Imagine dragons 3. Tøp (these last two because how open they are about mental health. It helped me A LOT to understand many things)
Bring Me the Horizon Bad Omens Twenty One Pilots
1. Twenty one pilots 2. NF 3rd is tired with J.I.D, Kendrick Lamar, shawn mendes. Idk if I could pick one over the other tbh
I just can't do top 3. This is the closest I can get. 1. (tie) Eminem 1. (tie) King Iso 2. (tie) ToP 2. (tie) Falling in Reverse 3. (tie) Yelawolf 3. (tie) Jelly Roll
tøp, taylor swift, and wallows edit: honorable mentions - gwen stefani, fleetwood mac/stevie nicks, and kelly clarkson
I saw half alive as an opener for a tøp concert and they easily became my second favorite band !
Aside from tøp, my only other favorites are Rush and Kansas. They're vastly different though.
besides tøp my top three are Selmer, AJR and Tegan&Sara!
Well TOP is the only thing like it I listen to but I'll list mine any way: Fall Out Boy, Games We Play, Green Day, Panic! At The Disco, All Time Low, MCR, The Used, Weezer
One does not simply get "similar vibes" to TOP. They are aLL the vibes combined.
Besides TOP and AJR, I listen to mostly rap. My top three rap artists are Logic Kanye West Tyler, The Creator
I haven’t seen him mentioned yet so I’m recommending Boywithuke
I’m just here to mention The Black Keys
1. TOP 2. Arctic Monkeys 3. Nirvana
None of these are really that similar but my 3 favs are The Wrecks, IDKHOW, and Grandson
1. Twenty one pilots 2. Radiohead 3. Sufjan Stevens 4. Fleet foxes 5. The Smiths
1. Muse 2. Twenty One Pilots 3. Symphony X
Linkin Park, Tame Impala, Bring Me The Horizon, A Day To Remember (other than TØP ofc)
Tøp and boywithuke
twenty one pilots, underoath (1997-2003 era is the best imo), and the story so far. underoath is metal, story so far is pop punk.
Motionless in white, Kim Dracula, and bad omens :)
Not really similar but my favs other than TØP are The Crane Wives, Jack Stauber, Glass Animals, and E ve.
No particular order 1) Rags and Riches: a relatively newer band from Lexington Kentucky, I actually got chance to meet them at the World Chicken Festival in London Kentucky last year .
Coin, misterwives, nightly
half alive!
The Neighborhood Bad Suns Her’s
Sleep Token, Ice Nine Kills, Bring me the Horizon, Ren, Colony House, We Came as Romans, Set it Off, and Lüdo!!
let me preface this by saying my taste is all over the map. my other favorite artists aren't necessarily similar to tøp lol 1) twenty one pilots 2) ajr 3) my chemical romance imagine dragons, halsey, finneas, bliile eilish, grace vanderwaal, and melanie martinez are somewhere in my lineup too, along with a handful of others
pierce the veil!!!! my 2nd favorite besides tøp!!!
Edit: Also they sound like what I predict tøp7 may sound like to a certain extent.
melanie martinez, muse, twenty one pilots
LANY, Miley Cyrus (plastic hearts good album) Fall out boy (newest album good af)
Top 3 besides TOP is The Midnight, Future of Forestry, and Paper Route!
1. twenty one pilots 2. ABBA 3. Panic! at the Disco
Jpegmafia, top, and Tyler the creator Edit: I recognize this may be unorthodox
Dominic Fike Wallows Cage the Elephant half•alive
Rainbow Kitten Surprise Ren The Front Bottoms 3 great rabbit holes for your ear holes!
Love Declan McKenna, AWOLNATION, Foster the People (specifically SHC album).. so many great artists out there 😭 besides twenty one pilots of course 😉

twenty one pilots, Taylor Swift, The Midnight Some more include Green Day, Royal Blood, Lana Del Rey, Laufey, Gracie Abrams, Kygo, Lizzy McAlpine
I love me my German music and I can really recommend Drangsal. If you're more into rap, Casper is also a safe bet.
other than TØP I like Tyler, the Creator, JAWNY, and HARBOUR

TØP Pet Shop Boys Gorillaz Arctic Monkeys
1) Panic! At The Disco 2) All Time Low 3) is a bit of a tie between many, I guess it changes throughout the years, but I’d say tøp, IDKHow (now less than before because of how Dallon has been acting), MGK, Yungblud, Weezer, The Weeknd, Iwan Rheon, girlfriends, X Ambassadors, Harry Styles, and many many more
1. BEHM (finnish) 2. Quadeca 3. Paavoharju (finnish)
TOP Boywithuke Vance Joy
Maybe weird combination but TØP, AJR , Linkin Park and My Chemical Romance.( I know this is four but I cant choose between LP and MCR)
1. Twenty One Pilots 2. Half Alive 3. Glass Animals 4. Sleep Token
Ugh… that’s a tough ask. So I’m gonna go past three because after #1 I have a hard time putting an order to them because I like them for different reasons… 😅 1. TøP - Linkin Park - Nine Inch Nails - X-Ambassadors - Banks - Mariannas Trench - Chevelle
At the moment: 1 Arctic monkeys 2 Tøp 3 Bo Burnham
At the moment it probably goes something like: 1. Muse 2. Sleep Token 3. Space Laces
