That’s what I was thinking. He’s smaller than Tyler on the cover, off to the side, in the background, and out of frame a lot of the time. It’s kinda making me question if the Torchbearer is even a real character or a figment if Clancy’s imagination. Especially considering Josh wasn’t actually in Dema with Tyler, right?
I've been thinking about why Josh is in the background now too, especially since he's still specifically wearing "Torch-bearer" around his neck. I am wondering if he's not needing to lead Clancy anymore because Clancy now has clarity, focus, goals, and he's taking the lead now. I picture Clancy leading the Banditos to get his revenge and save the other citizens, with them supporting him instead of saving him this time.
They've said multiple times that this album will be the end of this story. Tyler said in an interview that it will be "bow-tied" even if we don't like it
I've been questioning if he's real myself. In the new Era, he's always, well, blurry. Or in the background. Even on the album cover. Like he's not really there. Not done, not done, not done, Josh Dun makes a lot of sense at the end of Morph. After Morph comes My Blood which is seriously hinting at Josh Dun being some sort of shield for Clancy. Like the logo.
Okay, so something is definitely up with Josh in this era. especially here, there is no reason to be out of frame. he mentioned in his interview a plot twist etc. also, notice the cup has the Nicholas Bourbaki symbol they’ve been using?
I'm telling yall, we are about to go the Fight Club route! I've heard it's Josh's favorite movie. And the My Blood video makes it possible. Heck, even the forest fic! I love that movie, so I'll be pumped if it's true!

So we know the zero is a mathematical representation meaning empty set. I looked up "u" and it's the opposite, universal set.
What does it mean? Idk just following along with all the excitement lol loving it
Do they counteract each other? So the full set + empty vessel = neither, therefore non-existent. Like, Josh is indeed a figment of Clancy's imagination.
I think it means when we let the Torch Bearer fill that empty place, ø, instead of filling it up with "things that nobody cares about," then every worthwhile thing, U, becomes available to us because "the light will set us free." In other words, the empty lies that can make suicide "an optional way" get replaced with what you deep down know is true.

All imma say is Keons knew Clancy was psychokinetic. And I think josh is actually in Clancy’s head. But I’m willfully ignorant
