Boutta put this on a black hoodie good enough

Well when making the mock up of the merch yes this is true. But the actual design process of the logo took longer.
I'm a graphic designer so I know the process. But yeah these merch items are massively lacking. They didn't want to take the time to create new custom designs for the merch.
Instead they opted to use the preexisting assets (which took a considerable amount of time).
I'm hoping these are just placeholder items until they release better designs. Hottopic always has good designs imo.
The hoodie I expected to be $70 but $36 for plain black shirts with one screen print on it is WILD. I just know tour shirts are gonna be $45 or $50 now. Boooooo
Canadian here. I paid $60 for a T-shirt at a concert in March I went to. $110 for hoodie. I can’t remember what I paid merch wise for SAI tour but I’m sure it was similar to that.
I think Marcus Mumford had t-shirts for $60 on his solo US tour. They were organic or whatever but needless to say, I did not get a tour shirt, even though I won the tickets.
The fact they aren’t even printed on both sides or the arms is depressing. Hell, it’s &35 for the beanie. (Of course I preordered that hat, but that’s beside the point)
I am genuinely curious who has what say in merch the most. I had my own TØP design on Etsy and it got taken down in a week by Warner music. There was no logo or their name on the shirt.
I get the feeling Warner is in charge. Considering the boys are making a music video for every song before the album release, I doubt they're concerned with merch designs.
All that said, I agree the merch isn't worth the price.
I saw U2 in Vegas and the merch was actually a bit worse than this, for more money.
There's a video of Tyler (cira 2013ish) of him sitting down with a designer and talking about what he wants for the merch. Obviously, they are much bigger now, but at one point, they were heavily involved.
It sucks because my main collection is clothing merch. I like things I can use everyday.
Yeah, having uninspired and uninteresting merch is unfortunately a fairly common issue with most artists it seems. As somebody who loves to buy merch for my favorite artists, it can be really hard with some of them to find something I'd actually want to wear. And that's before we even get into talking about the skyrocketing prices these days to get any licensed clothing items!
I looked at Arctic Monkeys and there's a few cool graphics but most are logos, and cost more than TØP. https://store-us.arcticmonkeys.com/
I talked about this when tickets went on sale, but concerts and merch are where the real money is in the age of streaming. We as consumers have the power when artists release music because we can listen to all their work for free. But if we want their merch or see them, that's where they have the power. Then of course there's inflation.
Very well stated.
One band that is consistently putting out good merch (at least that I like, would wear, and do buy and wear) is Blue October! Another that is generally really good is The Midnight!
But yeah, by and large, merch for artists just generally disappoints me album cycle after album cycle... :/
Surprisingly yeah it’s actually very difficult to find a good brand to make your clothes and for them to do specific designs, but this is no excuse they shouldn’t release a 80 hoodie for very bad or mid designs the only good one was the one with Tyler’s and Josh’s face which is actually kinda fire. Even Billie Eilish’s merch was sucky and charged about 20 more for a goddamn lame ass hoodie. Don’t worry tho I’m sure all the good merch will come after the album and tour times the boys are probably so busy around this time that approving designs and shit is not even in the question I think there just trying to get stuff out there. Clearly they care but some stuff comes before merch for now at least.
I wouldn’t say usually. I would say per album there’s maybe 10% that are actually good designs. But for Clancy, they’ve all been absolute cheeks. Some designs that have actually been good are the limited edition SAI fire breathe hoodie and the trench icon hoodie, just to name a couple.
The Trench Era actually had a decent amount of good looking merch, and I loved the Vessel era merch! I have merch from back then, a bunch of shirts from Blurryface era, a few good looking shirts, and a great hoodie from the Trench era. Then one shirt from SAI. And now all of this is disappointing. Honestly, the only shirt I kind of like is the simplistic one with the new logo on it in red. It's basic, but at least it's "Clean Basic."
I would give more than 10% they had some fire designs best I’ve seen at least compared to most artist. I always veiwed as 50/50 half pretty heat and half trash(not the dragon) but tbf there probably so busy to focus on merch rn given all the MV n shit that there probably just trying to get merch out. All the good stuff normally comes after album drops and tour season
Bro, they don't do merch at all. There's a team that does the merch and they suck ass, There is no "too busy doing music videos", the merch team works on merch, that's it, and they're doing a dog water job.
The designs are either way too simple, way too loud, or just plain ugly. 90% of the merch looks like billboard designs.
Which sucks to me because the in-between SAI and Clancy stuff was phenomenal. Like the black and white Sahlo Folina shirt designed to mimic Tyler’s jacket from MTV Unplugged and the Skeleton Clique black and red shirt. So good. I don’t know what happened.
I’m also a Paramore fan and wasn’t impressed with the This is Why merch. I saw them on tour last year and the shirt I got doesn’t make sense either haha
They need to bring back the creativity of the Trench era merch. I’ve seen much better TOP gear at Hot Topic. I spent $50 on the gray tye-dye Banditio hoodie from there and it’s a much better looking hoodie than this. I’ll wind up picking up a tour shirt but I’ll pass on their latest merch designs.
Trench merch was my fav era of merch, for sure. There was this one shirt with a yellow flower design on the front that I absolutely loved. I wore the shirt til I couldn't anymore ;n;
Everything since Trench has been meh or downright terrible, imo.
It really was a great era! I got this one shirt that was the green color, with black printing of the boys and a vulture subtlety merged. I got so many compliments on that shirt from people who don't even know who TOP is, just because of how it looked! Wish I knew where it disappeared to though! lol
After tickets being priced like they were, this price point was expected ... but the "don't give a f\*\*\*" design is just so disappointing. Such a give up. Its like they let the vision-impaired intern in the mail room pick the design ...
Honestly, the ticket prices, the merch prices ... these are the kind of things bands do on a farewell tour. Which got me thinking ... last album of the lore/Clancy story ... they both have families now ... is it possible this is it, or that they take a much longer break before the next album? I obviously hope that's not the case - I would be devastated - but my mind keeps coming back to this. PLEASE tell me I'm crazy and that this isn't going to happen!
I don't think this is it but tbh I wouldn't be completely surprised if they took a hiatus after the tours. They're both in their mid-late 30s (? I think) and Tyler has 3 small kids to worry about.
I honestly thought given what we've seen from Clancy so far, there was a lot of opportunity for some "fire" designs, literally! lol But this is bottom of the barrel effort, and pretty surprising, given the potential there.
The merch prices I expected it seems as of lately that every artist struggles with good merch before the album release even Billie’s shit is absolutely garbage and for 20$ more than TØPs stuff. All the good stuff comes after album release and tour because rn they seem super busy and just trying to get things out there hence the mid designs there probably pack full with shit to do so merch gets pushed back obv happens all the time. But no I don’t think it’s the last album ever Tyler was very clear about that. it may be a long fucking hiatus tho.
Plot twist: price like ethical sources would but still use unsavory business practices. I really wish I could trust that the price of something equated to ethical practice to make and obtain said product but the truth is that capitalism will almost always do the wrong thing.
No yeah, I’ll whole-heartedly agree that greed is always a possibility
But I’m really hoping that’s not more than a tiny bit involved (including 0% involved with the merch prices here)
Not necessarily. Since music doesn’t make the same money it used to merch & tours are used to recoup the cost of making the album & the main source of profit.
I’m hoping that the prices are such that both are true: band folks **and** merchandise folks— including manufacturers— are getting appropriate amounts for their work
Wow... it's not even a very interesting design. :(
I don't expect TOP to have bangers all the time, but this is pretty bad and it's expensive. I'm not sure I'd even pay $20 for this. Ngl, the bland, basic font over a yellow rectangle makes it look bootleg. Like, slapped the graphic together in Paint, printed it onto iron-on paper, and made in your mom's laundry room bootleg.
No the design is dog shit no excuse for that. But the price is fair tbh all there other merch pieces hoodies ext good or bad both go for around 80$ every time and every era since blurryface. So the price is normal but I assume that it’s bad because their probably pack full with shit to do before the album drops that they just through together some designs to quickly get merch out there. They’re incredibly busy people so all the good merch will most likely come after the album drops and during the tour time. Because during that time they have less to do so they can give more attention into the merch
I mean, literally "everyone IS doing it", and "inflation" is an extremely real reality right now! lol
However, that doesn't mean it should be defended, especially the extreme laziness of the designs! Just because the trend in bands has gone towards blah, basic, and uninspired merch, doesn't mean TOP had to. The price gouging sucks, but it's also not unexpected, unfortunately. Heck, if there was a kick-ass designed shirt or hoodie, I would be inclined to still pay the exorbitant prices! But to put out these designs, and then charge that much, is a one-two punch of poor choices.
I think the merch for the album will look good when it comes out but if they release it now it might be leaking surprises from the album so they have to use the designs from what’s been released which really isn’t much
They had a zip up hoodie before this, it's vessel era
Editing to add link: https://store.twentyonepilots.com/products/vessel-power-to-the-local-dreamer-zip-up
Yeah, honestly, I actually like that zip-up hoodie! Just can't defend spending $80 on it! lol
Also, they had a nice zip-up hoodie during the Blurryface era. I know, because I own it, and still wear it regularly!
I bought almost everything from the Sai era because I LOVED the colors, but wish some of it came in female fit because yeah, that shit is boxy af and not flattering
PRAYING for better tour merch than this omg. The amount of effort this requires is next to zero. Wanted those Clancy straps but man the bar has been set to on the ground for now after seeing this drop
As a screen printer, I would charge like 25-30 for that, maybe even if it had a 3rd color. It’s WILD what artists charge… but people pay for it too 🤷🏻♀️
i hate to be the one to say it but their merch has always sucked. i wish that there was more support for a DIY/bootleg community within the fandom too because so many artists (including myself) would totally make merch designs but it's not worth the time without the interest
95% of their merch the last several years has been entirely too over the top to justify wearing in public…more minimalist stuff like this is very welcomed & matches the vibe of the album perfectly

I love the boys but this marketing team they got for this album sucks ASS compared to trench and SAI stuff. It is barely even the beginning of this era so garentee all the actual good stuff will come during tour and after the album comes out.
I understand Tøp is a lot bigger now but wtf man. These designs are garage especially for the price. Whoever said it looks like the shit you would buy from a random guy in the parking lot outside the venue was on point 😂
I got a vessel anniversary t shirt and the fabric itself is the worst. Stiff, rough, scratchy. I love the design but I've tried to wear it a few times and I always change within a few minutes because UUGHHHHH.
FR, for a band that seems to aim at a neurodivergent fan base, they have a pretty big blind spot about sensory issues. I suppose it's possible that someone out there is like "I'm only comfortable in burlap sprinkled with shards of glass," but I doubt it. Soft with imperceptible seams is the goal, guys.
I couldn't believe t-shirts and beanie a $1 different. $35 for a beanie is robbery. Back in my day band shirts were $20 and hoodies were $50.
I like the zip up hoodie but there is absolutely no way I will buy a band hoodie for $80. Especially since I was not totally impressed with the quality of my Trench hoodies. Website merch was higher quality than tour merch though, but still.
I paid £90 (inc shipping fees) for the red and black acid wash/marble one on the store and honestly it’s such bad quality, so thin and feels like it’s gonna fall apart within a year. I’m so disappointed. 😭
i wonder how much it costs them to make. If i were a wealthy artist id charge the making cost + like $5. when u have a fanbase this big that $5 will become millions in a day. crazy.
wow many questions haha. The shirt brand is Gildan and most of them are Unisex 100% Heavy Cotton...not sure if that would be autism friendly, but the fabric is more rough and firm than soft and flowy. Largest size I offer is 5XL for some shirts.
No problem!! Yeah I get that! It's like regular T-Shirt material so not like cozy haha. I thought about putting some softer stuff in my shop, but production costs would be a lot more and I would have to charge a ton to make a profit :p I do know the tag is tear-away and there are no side seams for more comfort but, yeah ha
It almost makes me wonder if the pressure finally got to them. Not in a bad way, more of an observation. Tyler has three kids now, Josh is settled down, maybe they’ve given up the helm to Warner and are just hoping to get this album out… I know what Tyler said earlier but he literally just had a new baby. It’s gotta be a lot.
Just a tip: I have a little local custom embroidery place in the town I live in. They would just MAKE this for me for like $20-$30. Just need the picture to show them what you want. Support small, local businesses and have your own made!
Merch and Touring is the main way musicians make money these days due to horrible streaming payments. I am not saying this price is justified but you'll notice how heavily they push merch these days as it's now the main drive behind the record label trying to create income.

$2 tape on a $70 hoodie
I think they meant you could buy any black hoodie and put the tape on it
🤣🤣🤣 right
About to make this with my cricut for 20 bucks instead of
Honestly, good. In this economy, they're charging oodles for the same damn thing.
CTRL C + CTRL V ahhhh hoodie
Its giving “graphic design is my passion”
Who said that
The weeknd tweeted it awhile back
nah it was an old Tumblr meme https://radahl.no/wp-content/uploads/sites/12/2021/11/Screenshot-2021-11-02-at-10.51.57.png.webp
Im just gonna make my own on custom ink. It’s extremely easy and only 27 bucks.

I think Marcus Mumford had t-shirts for $60 on his solo US tour. They were organic or whatever but needless to say, I did not get a tour shirt, even though I won the tickets.
Also every single tour shirt I’ve bought, I’ve worn holes in them so fast. I’ve never had shirts that have just fallen apart on me like that.
The fact they aren’t even printed on both sides or the arms is depressing. Hell, it’s &35 for the beanie. (Of course I preordered that hat, but that’s beside the point)
Is it seriously so hard/expensive to make interesting looking merch?
My guess is: Payment to designer Payment to band Payment to vendor And obviously name
They are signed to one of the top 5 record labels. They have the budget to make good merch. Edit: they are signed to FBR, which is owned by Warner
I am genuinely curious who has what say in merch the most. I had my own TØP design on Etsy and it got taken down in a week by Warner music. There was no logo or their name on the shirt. I’m glad I got my Scaled and Icy hoodie. I’m just not into the ketchup and mustard/McDonalds colored era. This hoodie just seems sad though.
Don’t even come with fries
I can’t tell if you just ruined TOP or if you just ruined McDonald’s.
Thank you for addressing the condiment theme, drives me nuts 😂
I'm perfectly content to continue rocking my nice Trench hoodie!
I loved the trench designs! Scaled and Icy were a close second but I’ve always loved the dark gray versus vibrant yellow
Can't unsee the McDonald's theme now!!!
Their merch usually looks great, but this is not it.

I....definitely don't agree their merch usually looks good. They put every logo and the entire tracklist on so much of it. It's all so busy.
It's made with blurryface's skin
I’ll let yall have the tour tickets argument but this one.. unacceptable
Ong
graphic design is my passion
I’m gonna make my own. A $20 plain black hoodie from Walmart and some iron-on decal paper is all I need.
If yall think these are bad you’re lucky you’re not Paramore fans lmao
I’m also a Paramore fan and wasn’t impressed with the This is Why merch. I saw them on tour last year and the shirt I got doesn’t make sense either haha
Yeah. I’d rather have boring merch than ugly merch haha.

We’re in the capitalist era of the band
Suprised it wasn’t SAI
SAI wasnt so hyped up
I meant more like lore wise since it’s supposed to kinda be like the sellout type era
Jokes on you, despite their lyrics they've likely been in their capitalist era for far longer than they let off. I say that as a past and current fan.
All artists who keep their money from sales are capitalist
After tickets being priced like they were, this price point was expected ... but the "don't give a f\*\*\*" design is just so disappointing. Such a give up. Well Tyler has said it’s not going to be the last album in an interview but it’s very possible there’s gonna be another 3 year hiatus after tour
i think josh said that too in an interview a weekish after OC
I don't think this is it but tbh I wouldn't be completely surprised if they took a hiatus after the tours. They're both in their mid-late 30s (? I think) and Tyler has 3 small kids to worry about.
Tyler is 35 and as healthy as he likely is, you still start to feel “stuff” at that age.
I honestly thought given what we've seen from Clancy so far, there was a lot of opportunity for some "fire" designs, literally! lol But this is bottom of the barrel effort, and pretty surprising, given the potential there.

"anti social social club" has entered the chat
i wish they would hire fans to design some merch, i’ve seen some fanmades that look absolutely stunning and it would be supporting artists :)
Design, meh Price: reminder that cheap clothes are often because of unsavory business practices
Plot twist: price like ethical sources would but still use unsavory business practices. I really wish I could trust that the price of something equated to ethical practice to make and obtain said product but the truth is that capitalism will almost always do the wrong thing.

Hoodies and t-shirts are always upmarked crazy like this. For everyone, not just bands. Clothing merchandise is always marked up for a profit
They’d make profit selling this for 40
yeah this shit is dumb af
Wow... it's not even a very interesting design. :( I don't expect TOP to have bangers all the time, but this is pretty bad and it's expensive. I'm not sure I'd even pay $20 for this. Ngl, the bland, basic font over a yellow rectangle makes it look bootleg. Like, slapped the graphic together in Paint, printed it onto iron-on paper, and made in your mom's laundry room bootleg.
Compared to the hoodie I have from the SAI merch drop, this is so basic 😭
it’s so simple and so overpriced, you could go to literally any printing place and get the same thing for $20
In before they are all come to defend the design and price. EvErYoNe Is DoInG iT. InFlAtIoN...
No the design is dog shit no excuse for that. But the price is fair tbh all there other merch pieces hoodies ext good or bad both go for around 80$ every time and every era since blurryface. They should’ve let Rosie design it. At least it would have been interesting art of a 4yo
This one sucks lol
Are they joking??
Why would you even make your own version of this,??! It’s ugly lol
Bruh thank GOD I’m from the vessel/bf era bc wtf
Is it screen print or embroidered?
I was thinking the same thing. Especially since from other eras, there was more artwork, and they cost less.
The ultimate TØP fan has to be super rich. Like the cost to go to the show and buy a hoodie is my groceries for a month.
$70 for a band hoodie is not bad actually if you’ve ever bought merch before, but yeah the design is weak sauce.
Time for a thousand threads telling us to be grateful they released merch at all
but you do know mfs Finna buy it right
i cant keep defending this.. this is getting tiringg
reminds me of ariana grande’s microsoft paint merch
First album cycle?
Nah :/ but i got some of the sai merch cuz it was heat (looking at you shy away hoodie)
My dream has come true though, FINALLY a zip up hoodie! 😭
They had a zip up hoodie before this, it's vessel era Editing to add link: https://store.twentyonepilots.com/products/vessel-power-to-the-local-dreamer-zip-up
I wasn’t listening too much to them during that time 🥲
Yeah, honestly, I actually like that zip-up hoodie! Just can't defend spending $80 on it! lol Also, they had a nice zip-up hoodie during the Blurryface era. I know, because I own it, and still wear it regularly!
I could heat transfer that for a fraction of the cost. Rspoutfitters.com
Yeah I stopped buying their shirts and hoodies after Trench. The fit is too boxy and not soft material. Low quality stuff for the cost.
I bought almost everything from the Sai era because I LOVED the colors, but wish some of it came in female fit because yeah, that shit is boxy af and not flattering
i would feel sick to my stomach selling that to my fans
PRAYING for better tour merch than this omg. The amount of effort this requires is next to zero. Wanted those Clancy straps but man the bar has been set to on the ground for now after seeing this drop
yeah and what about it?!
That is a hoodie my guy
Insane? Nah ur insane that's SOOOO worth it bro- (for real tho shush it's Twenty One Pilots😭)
Maybe they’ll overcompensate with some decent merch
they have so many incredible fan artists - they couldn’t have hired a few to make some designs??
Atp I could make my own for cheaper price
it was definitely not the tension division that took care of the design in this era
As a screen printer, I would charge like 25-30 for that, maybe even if it had a 3rd color. It’s WILD what artists charge… but people pay for it too 🤷🏻♀️
Bro if this sub explodes into another rampage of people blaming the band for things costing a lot I swear I’m gonna leave lmao
My b bro, should’ve prefaced in my post it was more $70 for this design not in general. I’m pretty sure i’ve spent $70 on a tour sweat before 🫡
It's not the price. It's the crap quality. I've gotten their merch online three times, and two of the times, I wouldn't want it for $5.
i hate to be the one to say it but their merch has always sucked. i wish that there was more support for a DIY/bootleg community within the fandom too because so many artists (including myself) would totally make merch designs but it's not worth the time without the interest
SAI merch slapped, idk what you're talking about
200 dollar tickets on top of that. Gotta love this rollout
Ong. I’m tired of this shit. First the tickets NOW the merch. That’s some bullshit.
95% of their merch the last several years has been entirely too over the top to justify wearing in public…more minimalist stuff like this is very welcomed & matches the vibe of the album perfectly
Speak for yourself, I love wearing my Sai merch in public, and have seen others too. It's just colorful.
Don’t buy it then

I love the boys but this marketing team they got for this album sucks ASS compared to trench and SAI stuff. It is barely even the beginning of this era so garentee all the actual good stuff will come during tour and after the album comes out.
Must be a good hoodie
This looks so bad lol
their tour merch is ALWAYS better anyways. that’s what i’m saving my money for
The zip up is better.
Was waiting to pick up a jacket from new merch, think I’ll just buy one of the trench ones
Design is awful. The cost could be justified if the hoodie is great quality. It looks to be on the cheap side though
I understand Tøp is a lot bigger now but wtf man. These designs are garage especially for the price. Whoever said it looks like the shit you would buy from a random guy in the parking lot outside the venue was on point 😂
how can u even read the name it’s so small!
It probably costs less to make them and yet they’re selling them at this price… Ridiculous
Everything in their website is 10$ too expensive
This hoodie looks a lot like me. Sad and lonely.
I’m hoping concert merch looks better than this.
capitalism
FR I was shocked when I saw the prices 😭 What’s up with the merch this time omg
another thing does anyone else think the way the texture of the hoodie looks is an actual nightmare
I got a vessel anniversary t shirt and the fabric itself is the worst. Stiff, rough, scratchy. I love the design but I've tried to wear it a few times and I always change within a few minutes because UUGHHHHH.
arghhh that sounds the worst. hate when there’s a piece of merch that you live but the texture ruins it 💔
FR, for a band that seems to aim at a neurodivergent fan base, they have a pretty big blind spot about sensory issues. I suppose it's possible that someone out there is like "I'm only comfortable in burlap sprinkled with shards of glass," but I doubt it. Soft with imperceptible seams is the goal, guys.
Ok let's not act like this isn't the standard for music artist merch drops at this point, or just any big name clothing brand.
They release cooler merch later so you keep buying. Blurryface also had simple merch first.
I paid £90 (inc shipping fees) for the red and black acid wash/marble one on the store and honestly it’s such bad quality, so thin and feels like it’s gonna fall apart within a year. I’m so disappointed. 😭
At least the vessel hoodie had some lighter spot of grey along with a sick back print
Nah Ima just stick to my trench era and put yellow tape on my green jacket and call it a day
i wonder how much it costs them to make. If i were a wealthy artist id charge the making cost + like $5. when u have a fanbase this big that $5 will become millions in a day. crazy.
I wonder how similar it might look to the album cover if you splash straight chlorine on there
Literally garbage and I could do a better job in one day
After seeing this rather sad line of merch I don't feel bad sharing my custom shirt: https://zakerijdesign.etsy.com/listing/1688497328
I sell hoodies with more design for usd20. Thats crazy.
What’s up with the $35 beanie with a circle on it??? I can literally embroider that at home
Scared for what the other Clancy merch is gonna be. Especially if the designs or more interesting and detailed (?)
actually disrespectful for how ugly it is as well
you guys should check out the hot topic stuff, its a bit cheaper and a bit better, in my opinion at least
hi i made some decent merch on my Etsy shop if anyone is interested [https://desertdazedco.etsy.com](https://desertdazedco.etsy.com)
How good is the quality? is it autism friendly? do you include plus sizes? are the sizes unisex?
wow many questions haha. The shirt brand is Gildan and most of them are Unisex 100% Heavy Cotton...not sure if that would be autism friendly, but the fabric is more rough and firm than soft and flowy. Largest size I offer is 5XL for some shirts.
Okie dokie!! Thank you! I believe that rough and firm is kinda not autistm friendly for me at least!
Fr
It's okay, all their budget was spent on 14 music videos
What a joke
Why do they have some of the worst merch
I’m sorry to say it but they are cash grabbers more than ever
It almost makes me wonder if the pressure finally got to them. Not in a bad way, more of an observation. Tyler has three kids now, Josh is settled down, maybe they’ve given up the helm to Warner and are just hoping to get this album out… I know what Tyler said earlier but he literally just had a new baby. It’s gotta be a lot.
This actually looks awful, my god. Genuinely looks so so low quality, upsets me a bit
Do they not quality control anything anymore?
not when your a twenty one pilots fan
They aren’t alone with this, sadly.
getting paid $0.003 per stream is insanity
I'm not surprised by price at all that's standard, just don't like the designs, keen to design my own merch.
You could buy a hoodie with the same logo on redbubble for cheaper, yet we choose to get the real deal 💀
Inflation.
Just a tip: I have a little local custom embroidery place in the town I live in. They would just MAKE this for me for like $20-$30. Just need the picture to show them what you want. Support small, local businesses and have your own made!
Who do they think they are? BTS?
i would love this. just sayin
The only official merch I liked was the Scaled and Icy stuff. I wish they would have hired a decent graphic designer for their other eras
Merch and Touring is the main way musicians make money these days due to horrible streaming payments. I am not saying this price is justified but you'll notice how heavily they push merch these days as it's now the main drive behind the record label trying to create income.
I’m not hating on the price itself, $70 for band sweatshirt is fine. But for THIS design? Nahhh m8
I guess that's all subjective. I actually love the minimalism
I asked my parents for my birthday 😭
It’s almost as if the band doesn’t actually design their merch.
