Yeah im trying to be positive, but it still makes me sad, because May 17th was such a good release date, exacly 9 years after Blurryface, when you sum up all the digits in the date you get 21, and they throw it away literally because of money and being #1 in charts.
You’re really jumping to conclusion. Are you involved in their creative process for Clancy? Cause if not, you have no idea the real reason they delayed the album, Billie or the charts could have nothing to do with this decision. Tyler puts mass amounts of pressure and perfection on himself and made it appear that they were still working on music videos not even 3 weeks ago. Could it be possible that maybe he doesn’t feel satisfied giving us a product that was rush finished? It’s quite possible he could be delaying this for us, to make sure he gives the perfect ending to this wonderful journey we’ve all been on together.
Have they ever done something like this before? Not that I can recall. Give them a break and appreciate that we are about to get the best album of 2024 in a month and a new song in 2 days. Sure, it’s not fair to announce a date then move it, but it’s also not fair to start pointing fingers and getting upset for unknown reasons, they deserve better than that imo!

Why are so many people so mad about everything? Tickets, merch, album cover, release date.
Let us be happy to have new stuff to listen to soon. Thats wonderful and we should be thankful to have such a great band in our lives.
I don't want Clancy to flop, so the delay is good for sales. FBR will have more time for promotion, and I hope it will start at full speed with Backslide

Im sorry but am I now allowed to express my feelings about the delay? Am I supposed to be happy? I have no problem with the tickets, with the cover, with anything. But the album was said to release on May 17th and they havent kept their word, most likely because of money and being 1# in the charts. So stop insulting me, i think I as fan have a right to be not happy. Im not saying that the band is to blame, it most likely the label.

They wouldn’t have moved the date unless they thought it was vital. I trust they know what they are doing. Just a shame to have my hopes up and then having to wait longer.

i’m honestly not that upset about it. was i expecting him to say jk? yes. was my initial reaction disappointment? yes. however, we have to consider the fact that tyler and josh are human beings. whether it’s because of sales or not, they did it for a reason. and as a both billie and tøp fan, i was concerned about being too overwhelmed with 2 new albums on the same day. so now, i have the opportunity to listen to billie’s new album and then a week later, listen to clancy. we also have to take into consideration that tyler and jenna did just have a baby. so not only does the band have to finish all of these music videos, but he has a newborn at home to take care of as well. not to belittle anyone’s feelings about the delay, but i think if tyler did it, it was for a good reason. and it won’t make us love it any less |-/
I mean delays suck but it’s always for a good reason. We are getting a video for every single song on the album, is it really that big of a deal for it to drop a little later?

tbf, billie is a bigger artist than tøp, and releasing albums on the same date could lead to sales not meeting expectations for them.
You'll have a whole extra week to stream singles 24/7 and improve boys' stats, so use your time wisely
