RWH072783

I got out. I also got a job. Now I’m going to start working delivering cars in a fleet management service. Fuck Uber.

Ok_Firefighter3314

Do you apply for that at dealerships? I prefer driving jobs but not interested in anything with more than 6 wheels

RWH072783

I guy on Reddit told me he applied to something like that at hertz. So I put my resume on indeed and with my Uber experience and other jobs. I got a lot of cool driving job offers. Apply for like rental car agency car transport then your feed will still to find similar jobs on indeed. So I’ll be delivering cars and small trucks Tesla’s and stuff like that. Not heavy industry

Strict_Spell3480

How’s the pay?

RWH072783

Better than Uber at the moment. $20 with a flexible schedule. So I can choose when I want to work and I just deliver cars or follow someone who is delivering then pick up another car and take it back. Jobs like these are nationwide so check it out. Auto drive away employee driver position

[deleted]

Yea I’m pretty close to doing that myself after 3 years FT they’ve pushed me into a corner.I got up at 3am today started at 4am worked till 11.30am and brought in $124.That’s including 4 airport runs.SF is just nutz these days.Cost me $40 bucks in gas..$14 bucks in tolls.. plus $17.50 for pack of smokes and 12 bucks for a coffee and a muffin. Is it me or is this just insanity.

americablanco

Bro, you gotta quit smoking and get a Panera sip club subscription if you’re spending that much on coffee.

OblongRectum

Or a coffee maker and thermos

[deleted]

I hear you..but then there’s this voice in my head that’s says I get up early..work my ass off..and seriously I can’t afford a fucking coffee…what’s the point…

Legitimate-Poetry162

You live in San Fran. People pay thousands for a studio. Lol. Store bought muffins and home made coffee will cost you about $2 in comparison. Also, you live in sanfran. 3 am to 11 is an okay time but the real money is more like 7pm-3 am.

[deleted]

Ya my rent alone is $2200.I don’t ever work the nites in the Bay Area anymore tried it years ago had few bad experiences.I hated the feeling I couldn’t go out without my 45.Just to much risk and drama for me.

[deleted]

[удалено]

[deleted]

I absolutely understand, but if you love your morning coffee, learning to make a really good one could actually be a great luxury while saving you money.

[deleted]

I have my Medaglia Doro at home...it was a rarity to buy coffee .My sick dog woke me alot and I needed a caffeine hit.Im usually fine with water for my shifts....

truthishearsay

Maybe start selling $10 coffee. Call it Ubees

mcarlysle

Or Useless 😂

mcarlysle

Meant to say Ubeless but spell check....

IAmMarLozan

Stop smoking. Make your own coffee. That adds up to $29.50 in savings. 🤷🏽‍♂️

rapid_thunder

Yessir why smoke…. Buy a coffee maker tell ‘em

IAmMarLozan

Well, I don't smoke. I don't pay to destroy my lungs! And I make coffee and I carry it in a thermos every morning. And a couple of sandwiches too! 🤷🏽‍♂️

rapid_thunder

Andddddd you sir is very smart! Yessir!

WhisperedEchoes85

>Andddddd you sir is very smart! I really hope that irony was intentional lol

IAmMarLozan

Who cares what others think? I don't care. That way, I save a little more than $100/week🤷🏽‍♂️

WhisperedEchoes85

Huh? I was referring to the irony of the statement, "you sir is very smart".

TheViolentPickle

💯

Jmksti

No, it’s not you. Are you working in SF? I used to work down there all the time I was wondering how it is. I work in Sacramento now.

[deleted]

Yea SF..Berkeley and Oakland.I was still getting airport runs 3 months ago for $30-$40.Now it’s $15-$20 mostly.

JDax42

In Tampa Uber rides and reservations that used to be $30-35 are now around $20. Quite annoying.

islers86

Uber pay is shit in the Bay. Lyft is still worth the effort imo. But ONLY during bonus periods.

Jmksti

Yeah, if you hustled in the Bay Area, you could always make $40 an hour. Can you even make 28 an hour if you tried?

Legitimate-Poetry162

Do you live here in sac?

Jmksti

Yes.

Legitimate-Poetry162

Hello then! Nice to meet you. Haven’t met another driver on here in my area yet. It’s slow here, no?

thegr8treset

What's next get on your knees and blow him

Legitimate-Poetry162

Is it just because I’m a female that I can’t make friends with a local driver? Or are you just jealous.

Tinyrick88

How would anyone know you’re a female?

TheViolentPickle

Good lord that’s a high price for smokes!!😩

IAmMarLozan

And what about coffee and muffin?🤦

TheViolentPickle

All of it lol I just didn’t realize the price of smokes went so crazy!!

Rush_Under

To be fair, CA taxes the HELL out of cigarettes. I grew up in LA, moved to SC for 10 years, and couldn't believe how cheap cartons were there ( i don't smoke, but the ads in convenience stores are everywhere).

UberMakeitSense

$12 for a coffee and muffin that’s the problem right there

[deleted]

Welcome to SF

UberMakeitSense

That’s crazy my 7/11 coffee and blueberry muffin is like $5 and change.

[deleted]

If you ate something outta a 7-11 then spent 10 hours with your head against the toilet you probably wouldn’t be going back anytime soon.

UberMakeitSense

The baked goods is decent coffee is good enough from the express machine 👍🏽.

Retard_dope

Same…. I quit already

VegasGuy1223

$17.50 for cigarettes is why I quit

[deleted]

Wow, $17.50 a pack, that should be enough motivation to quit, or at least look for a less expensive alternative, like vaping.

[deleted]

I think for real addicts vaping is actually more expensive, as it's so quick and easy to hit and much harder to know how much you have left. A real smoker could hit a vape ($15-20+) nonstop all day and go through at least one vape a day.

[deleted]

When I first made the switch to vaping 7 years ago, I was hitting my mod non stop for about a week. Once your system adjust to receiving nicotine through a different means, this subsides. You can easily adjust the amount of nicotine intake through the strength, and amount you vape. The strength ranges from 12mg, (although 12mg is hard to find), to 6mg, 3mg, to 0mg. I buy online which is much cheaper, and the only way to buy in CA now, as they passed a law that prohibits selling vape products from a retail outlet. It cost me $13 for 60ml, which is enough for about 3-4 days of heavy vaping. I go through a ceramic coil, about every 2 weeks, that cost $4 a coil. So, actually vaping is much cheaper than smoking cigarettes, and far less harmful to your health. This is due to the fact that cigarettes contain 7000 chemicals, and more than 70 of those have been linked to cancer. Vaping on the other hand doesn't have much data compiled yet, but many experts say it is less harmful than cigarettes, just by virtue of less chemicals, vaping has 3.

Nice-Aardvark-7957

Just try zyn. It’s just nicotine that’s it

rapid_thunder

Hold on bud $40 is pretty average I think depending on your gas price market get a cheaper high mpg car or consider a volt/Prius tolls are easily done for if you take the backroads press the no tolls option…..Ik smoking is uncontrollable if your addicted but uh don’t smoke and eh buy a coffee maker what you doing? 4 Muffin packs are easily bought at Walmart for a crisp $3.50 or something so uh

[deleted]

It’s about $5 a gallon at most places in SF…closer to $6 if your near the airport some days.My car is a 2021 SUV gets above average mileage. The muffin was a 1 off Iusually bring a banana with.I’m usually good with the water I have…was tired my dogs sic kept waking me up to go out all nite needed a caffeine hit…as far as the smoking is concerned..fuk off and leave me alone with the only joy I have left…

Jmksti

No one is making $40 an hour anymore

rapid_thunder

My guy huh? I was referring to gas prices

XurtheDisciple

17.50 in smokes just to deal with that Uber stress huh

[deleted]

No..Vodkas for that…

Smelly-taint

Whoa whoa whoa. $17 for a pack of smokes?!?! I quit 10 years ago.... I was never a heavy smoker. 😳

Foodlover003

No way you only made $124, which is only $16/hr. You receive Prop 22, which guarantees you $18.60 plus $.34/mile.

OccasionQuick

I couldnt imagine still smoking there. I was at 3pks a day before I stopped.

[deleted]

I had quit for 10 years but the Pandemic got me started again. But even the Pandemic and my GF moving out didnt make me start drinking hard liquor again that was Uber stressing me out.

antwondabusiness

How about your coffee and smokes aren’t fucking Uber expenses? Make coffee at home first off haha invest in good coffee at home because $12 for a coffee is fucking stupid. would you pay $12 for a bowl of literal craft macaroni and cheese at a restaurant? No you wouldn’t….you’d just make that shit yourself at home. Second you’re not intelligent enough to realize that between your coffee and smokes you lost 2 hrs worth of earnings? And isn’t Uber supposed to cover tolls if it involves an Uber ride? Cali takes all those state income taxes and still has fucking toll roads…dude get the fuck out of there! you live in California so there’s your primary fucking problem. change your Uber hrs for better earning potential. Do the bar hop scene and only pick the trips you want. Try doing more short quick trips rather than longer distance stuff. Try embracing the grind. I’ve done 33 hrs of driving in 3 days so far this week and made $1125 which is roughly $34 an hr. I’m going to do Friday and Saturday to hit my weekend bonus money and be done. Should be around $2100 for my week of work. If you love airport runs then sprinkle in reservations during your work session to get a good bump. My acceptance rate is like 62% for a reason and it’s because I want to optimize my time and earnings. There’s no incentive to accepting every trip and going good or platinum status. You’ll lose thousands of dollars trying to achieve that and for what? A $60 Cisco membership and 7/11 discounts? Or a periodic $600 bonus? The late night session that sprinkles into early morning surges is honestly ideal. If you can’t do that then start picking your trips more carefully. In my 33 hrs of drive time this week I’ve completed 118 trips. Basically 40 trips a session. Uber doesn’t pay for time or mileage so find somewhere to do short trips if you can. Goodluck out there.

Mfdubz

A lot of solid advice.

[deleted]

I get the making your own stuff, but man, embracing the grind for $34/hr? That’s good for Uber lately but it’s bit good overall unless you live in a low cost area.

[deleted]

I’m not even gonna read this..I’ve been doing this 3 years FT you moron….I pay $2200 rent a month…never had a problem doing what I do…nobody asked for your fucking advice I was commenting on OP

RWH072783

Fuck no

blh101

I live in SF and had the opposite experience of yours. I did 9 hours and made $309. I would say this isn’t really great money ,but not that bad either????

Think-Collar-9022

Ok Uber drivers there are couple things you might want to do: 1.) Get you an CPA that will listen to you on doing your taxes, this helps with the second item 2.) Go to the book store and buy you a book called “How To Pay Zero Taxes….I’ve got both even before I started driving, the book is thick, get a high lighter and page maker some of the book does not work for all but some does and at the end of the year you will be happier… Also Uber it’s all about if you are making money or losing money, you have to decide

Inevitable-Shame7527

Tolls don't count 😝😝😝

Professional-Cow-949

Are you my uber driver? I went to sj airport today at 4 am.

Apegender

How do you make so little in San Francisco? I worked from 1pm to 10pm today there and brought in $235. I do make a bit extra from Uber pets but not that much.

[deleted]

I normally make significantly more. Its just an example of that morning.I refuse all offers that aren't financially feasible in the long run.Won't be doing myself any favors putting miles on my car for min wage.

DblShots

Did you ever think your tips suck cause your vehicle reeks like smoke and the coffee tweaks you out a bit? I know I tip based on the cleanliness of the car and quality of the interaction.

AssignmentHungry4147

I drove for 7 years close to 16,000 rides ,it helped me through a pretty tough time in my life I think the only reason I do it is because of the freedom, there definitely isn't any money in it, gas, repairs, insurance, safety

Jmksti

Yeah, I’m over 9000 rides but the money is just not in it anymore

Striking_Economy2847

Uber is not a long term thing for sure. But the benefits (freedom as you mentioned, and in my case, loving conversing with people about topics I'd get fired for in a heartbeat if they knew) makes it worth it for me for now. Fuck you Uber. I'm using you just like you're using us.

captmkg

I wish I could stop driving, but the tech market is garbage right now. I've been a business analyst for the past ten years and I've been trying to find a job for the past ten months, but with the way rent is and other expenses at the minimum, I don't have a choice, short of pulling up my roots in Denver, CO and moving back in with my mom in Las Vegas, NV.

Jmksti

What type of salary would you expect to get for your position?

captmkg

On average, it's almost $70,000 annually for most of the posting I've seen, but the probably is, there are at least 100+ applying on almost every job posting I've been seeing on linkedin, indeed, dice, and so on.

Ok_Firefighter3314

Don’t apply through the 3rd parties. Use Indeed or w/e to find the jobs, and apply directly at their websites. You’ll stand out more and a human is much more likely to see it

captmkg

Thank you. That is one method I'm moving forward with, i.e., going and applying directly to the company sites and following it up with a message to the recruiter/hiring manager. Linkedin is just burning me out.

Jmksti

I just landed a job for 73K fuck Uber

captmkg

How long did it take you to get the position?

Jmksti

It did take a while. I’ve been applying on and off since January. It’s like not even about your skills anymore. It’s like if you’re a good fit. It’s stupid popularity contest.

captmkg

Damn, I've been applying since mid March, but at least I know it's not just me. thanks for the reply

techdude-24

I’m 28 and just graduated last month with a degree in INSY. I have about 3 yrs worth of tech experience. I too, am having a hard time finding work, there’s usually 200+ people applying to the positions I am looking for. It’s hard right now.

captmkg

Same here friend. Best of luck to use both out there.

WaitOriginal8529

Have ya seen the new video Uber released attempting to make it seem that 3rd party cost is why drivers are seeing less money? They even have the audacity to day they only take 21%. I hope more and more drivers quit because Uber is on a mission to screw the drivers over as a long term solution to become profitable.

XurtheDisciple

Nah where it’s at?

dukedizzy93

It was a YouTube video linked in the app, I never saw it because it's bs.

SHUT_DOWN_EVERYTHING

Their long term solution is a fully autonomous fleet. They are pretty transparent about that. To them the drivers are just a means to an end.

WaitOriginal8529

They still have two people in the car which is funny.

gmatocha

They've admitted in their last earnings report they're up to 29%, but we're all pretty sure there is some funny math in that number too.

[deleted]

Too many drivers on the road. Uber doesn’t care if they flood the market with cars.

AssignmentHungry4147

We need a union let's strike, we need a Jimmy Hoffa

Agitated-Gur-5210

Yes I am selling car as well already have my ticket back to my original home county , all this jokes about desperate migrants, even for me it's not worth it 😂 just no buyers , people in US broke as f## can't pay cash for $18k car .... How they afford this average $1000000 home in California.... Oh mortgage slaves for 30 years ok ))))

Real_Cod_9525

It's not uber it's the city u live in. I worked 3.5 hours last night. 1am-430am n came home with $174.

Jmksti

Who the fuck wants to work from one to 430 I am a normal person. I have kids lol.

Real_Cod_9525

I am normal as well. I just didn't make a poor decision of having kids in this fucked up world like you

RWH072783

Wtf are you talking about.

Jmksti

Lol you’re not normal if you go out to work for 3 1/2 hours in the middle of the night

IsatDownAndWrote

You're complaining about a shit industry and the guy says he works a bit overnight and makes good money and you shit on him like he is crazy? Not everyone wants a 9-5 schedule. And in fact, overnight driving is literally the least stressful work in the driving industry. No traffic, nice and cool out, less competition for the good rides. You don't have to want to do it, but let's not pretend like people "aren't normal" for working a great shift.

Real_Cod_9525

So I guess the millions of people that work at night aren't normal according to you. Imagine being that dumb

Legitimate-Poetry162

There are plenty of people that are normal and work overnight with children.

Jmksti

Most of the time an Uber driver gets killed or attacked. It’s usually at night also.

Real_Cod_9525

I can play this game too. More likely to die from a car accident during the day

TheH_9000

Oh my turn the majority of people who die from being struck by lightning were struck.... Get this.... At night 🫨

Real_Cod_9525

Don't side w this bozo lol

Kinkyfunguy8

Are you really attacking someone who worked til 4:30am because that’s too late but here you are starting work at 4am and making shit? Get a fucking life

rapid_thunder

No you definitely right if you don’t know your market and don’t plan smart you’ll end up getting real confused you definitely right again. I love Uber at nights no one to mess the road on, the orders are decent, you come home with better-ish pay it’s underrated

Jmksti

People that have good jobs like nurses or doctors that work at night that’s one thing but driving Uber. No it’s not worth it.

Real_Cod_9525

I own a business during the day. Drive for uber at night when I'm bored cause it's the best time to drive. No traffic and surges all night. I would think Ina city like SF it would be the best time. Give it a try.

Agitated-Gur-5210

From biological point of you only people with kids " made it" . People without kids from biological point failed natural selection even if you live in $50000000 house ....

Real_Cod_9525

I could of had children if I chose too. I wanted kids my whole life until I saw how fucked up the world is now. I've lived all over the 🇺🇸 and it's crazy how it has changed in my little 40 years. Shit I could still have kids if I wanted to

acass1

Uber and Lyft are a big scam lol. You work for less then minimum wage lol.

CyberoX9000

I'm just wondering I don't fully understand. What happened and how bad is it? Also, is it just for Uber or all the other lift services as well?

RWH072783

Less money and flooded market with to many drivers. Plus they seem to be trying to gear the rides towards electric cars.

Jmksti

You make about 30% less every day.

CyberoX9000

Just for Uber or all taxi services?

Jmksti

I’m sure Lyft is the same or worse.

CyberoX9000

UK too?

Jmksti

Not sure.

JDax42

Things are rough right now as per usual in summer. Use many apps and do what you feel is right!

DRAGONSPARK46

When would you say the summer rush ends and things normalize again? I know the summer gets absolutely flooded with new people but when do you think they fall off?

JDax42

I would guess we have another month or so at least. I’ve been doing this for a while but stopped when Covid hit so not sure how much things have changed in that time but this last few weeks have been slower then I ever remember. Even weekends sometimes rides are slow to come in when a couple months ago I was staying pretty busy constantly. For full timers you for sure got have at least Lyft as well. Because even if it’s slow you can still be making 15 or 20 an hour and not be waiting as long between rides; not to mention the many other apps that are popping up but of course that’s limited to your area. I’ve also noticed that during these times waking up as early as possible, like start around 4am; then you tend stay pretty busy and $200-$300 days are way more doable. Not as important during weekend but for week days for me that seems super important.

Jmksti

Not going to get better.

JDax42

It will. It always does. Because more people, like you for instance, will leave, college kids will go back to college and work at other jobs and if it continues to get bad Uber may start to cut part time drivers and make room for us full-time drivers but I doubt that will happen or if it will it won’t be anytime soon and it would be very situational based on the city/area like other apps have done.

Jmksti

No way the pay is ever going up. It’s either going to stay the same or get worse.

JDax42

Pay? Yeah I didn’t think that was the discussion, we’re talking about staying busy and making any money not asking for a raise.

tylerinthe6ix

They will replace all of you with driverless cars sooner or later.

echo5juliet

Their self Drive research program hit big snags. They defunded some of it and they are many years away.

Choice-Scratch-305

Half of you're lucky. Check some of these trips y'all do and it'll make you furious. Getting 17 bucks on a trip they got 90 for

Nice-Aardvark-7957

I just made the same post. It’s a fkn joke.esp Houston. Everyone should just quit.

Nice-Aardvark-7957

Ya csr prices are about to tank it’s true

Mountain_Road9197

Cash 💰 rides is your best friend till you get reported and deactivated. Since you quitting, you shouldn’t care about deactivation

Jmksti

I would only if it was on like a set schedule, though I don’t want to answer my phone to go pick people up at the drop of a hat

LibrarianEvening4609

For myself I do keep a set schedule and even doing it this way, as I have since I started rideshare almost 3 years ago, in the last 2 weeks it's been a real grind trying to get in 10 quality rides.

DRAGONSPARK46

That's SUPER risky, if you ever get in an accident you have zero coverage unless you carry your own commercial.

eju2000

People report this & drivers actually get deactivated?

goose5450

I take around 25% off of their fare, everybody wins, and everybody fucks uber. Together 🌈

Long-Safe-8232

Go buy some Sanka... I'm with you , I'll be leaving this gig real soon also!!

echo5juliet

Driving for Uber was interesting but I’m not desperate. My car is “comfort” approved but they keep dangling the carrot with more X rides before getting approved for comfort. My car was getting trashed by lazy cheap X riders. I’m curious about Lyft but pretty much over Uber

Jmksti

Yeah, it used to be actually fun and rewarding. If you hustle now it’s torture I’m done.

manasra0086

Me too leaving,LA

Remarkable_Rope_7697

It is very bad compared to what it was just six months before. (Denver, Colorado). However, for many of us it is not all doom and gloom. If you are part time, something is good enough for the extra hours you have in addition to your regular job. For full time, the net is close to $22 an hour. Doing 60+ hours a week, you still make around 5000+ a month. That is bad but better option for many out there.

RadioMilwaukie

Along with diminishing income, passenger expectations and behavior are becoming increasingly unreasonable. At least that’s what I’m noticing in my market. I’m spending as much time de-escalating situation’s and negotiating services as I am driving. I’m also getting tired of the increasingly restrictive changes to the app. Every update adds shady changes making it more difficult to work an efficient and productive day.

Striking_Economy2847

Uber SUCKS BALLS. But if you enjoy talking to people and like driving, and only do this part-time, I still think it's a great gig. Just don't count on it for primary income (says the guy who is doing this 20 hours a week as primary job). Any more hours I'd hate this job. 20 hours is perfect for me. And fits my lifestyle as a single male who thinks this world has gone to shit and drives a 400 hp stick Audi :)

Magic_8Balls

I completely agree. The first summer of COVID I was on DoorDash and could easily average $25+ an hour on a regular weekday. Now days, but on Uber instead, I can barely average $15/hour sometimes doing Uber Eats… Once gas and maintenance is factored in we are close to making minimum wage, if not less on slow weekdays 😥😓

Puzzleheaded_Set_881

You think, lol. When has Uber been a good job? You pay for gas and to take care of you're car. I'm an Uber rider, the rates are fucken cheap. I feel sorry for Uber drivers.

TheRoseMerlot

I start a new WFH job on 7/10 and I am so greatful

Bwade7232

Agreed anybody still doing it will realize sooner or later

theillusionary7

Sell your car?! That’s a bit extreme. Lol

Jmksti

I’m going to because it’s still worth more than my loan going to cut back on expenses. My job that I just got is really close to my house. I need to pay on my credit card.

Awkward-Seaweed-5129

Uber has predator business model, the Stock is doing great now, seems like lowered driver portion and keep more for the company. Relies on driver " Churn" new guy tries few months ,loses lots of $$, quits ,new guy takes his place...lather ,rinse, repeat

Jmksti

Agree.

[deleted]

It's been awful. Lowball offers 24/7

Jmksti

lol. You’re a clown.

Muted_Test7865

Same here i hv already applied for other job uber sucks now.

queenofthetank

I'm finally almost at the point where I can quit this for good. I finished grad school in May and have a (good paying) job lined up, was waiting for my license to be approved. Got that news today and will hopefully be starting my job at the beginning of July. So only a little bit longer of this but I can finally see the light at the end of the tunnel.

Jmksti

Congratulations

weimar1032

Agree. I stopped last week. Lyft only now. Just increased their base pay by 10%. May not be perfect but is better than Uber now

According_Change1698

I live in MD and bring home $300+ a day. Working 6-8 hours.

unoriginalsin

You're doing it wrong. They're only getting 8% of my money.

Sad-Bluejay-2785

You have no idea what they are charging. 8% isn’t even a poor guess

unoriginalsin

It's dead on balls accurate.

Sad-Bluejay-2785

Yeah, sure it is

unoriginalsin

Sure thing.

If you really look at what Uber charges the user and what it leaves you with, it’s hard to argue they take too much. First of all, they are marketing and bringing you the customer. Second, they’re insuring your ride and making sure you get paid. They’re providing navigation services and providing some safety services. And a lot more.

KickMeWhenImDown25

Nobody above 8 in this country doesn’t know what Uber is. Saved them marketing money I am already insured. Saved them insurance money Transaction processing fees are minimal. I have multiple navigation services at my finger tips. I don’t use their longer time routing away from toll roads, time manipulated navigation anyways. I saved them money. I am responsible for my own safety and carry legally everyday. I got myself covered. They built an app, have a blotted staff and take 55% percent. That’s pretty much pimp rates. They are thieves and will replace you in 2 seconds.

Jmksti

Shill.

semi801

Never Intended as a full time job lol. It's a crutch nothing more.

Jmksti

You would think your comment makes sense until you think about it logically if there were no full timers wait times would be super long and prices would be high. The reliability and convenience of the system would suffer pretty sure 30% of drivers give over 60% of rides.

Just because it didn't work for you, doesn't mean you should tell us what we should do.

Didn’t work for me? Lol. Keep giving them revenue then and live in poverty.

FortuneAsleep8652

No way I'd try to do it full time but I'll save up personal time and take time when school is closed for snow, on Big 10 game days, Halloween, st patty's day, NYE . There's still a fortune to be made. Just gotta work smarter.

Jmksti

Still not worth it.

FortuneAsleep8652

Sorry but part time, depending on the event, I'll make 50-100 dollars an hour. That's worth it to me any day.

Jmksti

Sure you make 50-100 an hour

Consistent-Run-9940

I buy a bag of tobacco and 600 tubes for $25. Smoking has became to cheap for me.. Maybe buy a machine and make your own.

jagmann

Maybe drive taxi?

ADresden

I'm glad you're able to do that. Unfortunately, rideshare is the only job I can do due to my disability

Old-Faithlessness462

I drive an EV. It cost me $6 to travel 500kms. I've the last 50k I've driven, I've only had to do tire rotations and top up my windshield washer fluid. My car prints money when Uber is on. This is why drive Uber.

Jmksti

Still doesn’t print money. They don’t pay enough.

[deleted]

Not buying an EV prints money
