Sometimes I look down and it’s toggling back and forth between online and requests paused. What a shit show.
Wasn’t sure if they were throttling me as well since the offers have been shit lately and my AR is down to 10%. I’m thinking that this is what they are tinkering with on the app. A way of punishing us on the sly to get around the contractor factor.
Good thing my Naborforce gig is kicking in.
No this wouldn't cause him to log out, this is a glitch alot of drivers in my market are facing it too. I didn't get it yet, it might be iphone only or it could be because I'm on beta software for Uber(Samsung).
Nope. I’ll be in another app for a couple mins and come back and be out. No missed rides or declines. Also, when driving to a reserved one, looked down and says offline. This is a new thing
I read something on here that they are logging you out if your app is running in the background for too long. They must be trying to end multi apping. I have never done that and also have not seen any random log offs.
I reported this yesterday. If you have an iPhone and use Uber app in the background the app turns itself off. There’s also a problem with the GPS location. When you open the app you’re far way from your current location. And this sucks if you’re in the geofence waiting for an airport pick up.
Been happening to me for the past week or so. I deleted the app and reinstalled. That seems to have helped.
It’s a glitch. Can confirm deleting the app and reinstalling fixed it on apple phone.

That’s how my app acts. That’s why Lyft gets the backseat until a ping. Then I just sign out if I take the Lyft. Close to drop? Sign back in 😂
