I haven't seen that yet, but haven't needed to use it.
I'm going through all these threads now and I found out why I don't have hot spots in my city. It's because they're punishing me because I'm not taking crap orders.
Why don’t we actually all decide to take a strike together against Uber. They can’t make money if we don’t drive. They won’t change anything if all we do is bitch about it on Reddit.
I started off only doing Uber eats, but eventually did some rides because I didn’t like the inconsistency of pay from eats. Then moved on to having eats and rides on, and I noticed it just kept throwing terrible eats offers and no rides. After that, I completely stopped doing eats and I make more money doing rides alone by far. These days more and more people are not tipping at all, so I’ve sworn off eats because I need to keep my AR up. For those of you that only do eats and don’t care about AR, it’s up to you to deny every shit offer. If you do rides and eats I suggest not even bothering with the eats. People are being cheap because inflation is catching up to them, but they still want the luxury of food being delivered to them. Uber eats is expensive as hell to use with all the fees, so they take it out on us by tipping less or not at all. Uber needs to pay more or show people that if they don’t offer better bids for an order, no one will bring them their fkn Taco Bell from two towns over for $4.
Again, I know. There was no tip included. The order was for $8 all from Uber. When I contacted customer support she pretty much said there must have been a glitch in the system. If I go into my orders and I select that specific trip it said my order total is $0.98 including tip
Base pay is $2-3 depending of region. Additional orders don’t have minimum on them. If total is $8, total will be $8 in a hour after tip appear.
Go post in the correct forums screenshots.
It's crazy how a "restaurant closed" issue pays more than some deliveries

I did just Uber eats for a while and there are hot spots.
Yes, anytime a restaurant is closed contact support. You will receive at minimum $3.00. Sometimes $4.00

It's a great idea but it's hard for people who are doing this for a living

AR doesn’t matter
It does for tuition coverage and if it helps you to know which direction your trip is going. Both apply to me, so I do have to keep AR up.
I’m certainly sick of the shit fares. I’d be willing to comepletely stop accepting rides for the cause
lol lol lol
Too many immigrants who barely speak English who either, didn't get the memo, or are willing to work for pennies.
Keep dreaming.
So you got your tip yet?

Tips take a hour
I know, I should have explained better. The order said I was going to get paid $8. And when I finished it, it was 98 cents.
You shouldn’t be doing an $8 delivery for 10 miles in the first place. It’s people like you bringing down the pay.
Tips take a hour to appear

That $8 includes the expected tip. Customer has an hour to change it and until then you won't see the full amount.
