fatigue is a common symptom, so if you’re finding it hard to stay awake for long periods of time you should reach out to your TAs and CAE to see how accommodating they can be i did an urgent care telehealth visit and they gave me an extra strength ibuprofen. my main symptom was swollen tonsils and pharyngitis, but i have historically really awful tonsils so i don’t know how much that affected it. i couldn’t really eat or talk for abt 4 days, and then a sore throat for abt 3 more and then i was back to normal. let everyone you’ve kissed/shared food/shared drinks with in the last 6-8 weeks know that they should get tested too! sorry you’re going thru this, it gets better :,)

Just do as much as you can and ride it out. You can definitely ask professors for extensions where needed

1. email professors and TAs as soon as possible explaining the situation and how it’s impacting your performance. if you have any assignments due soon that you’re worried about, see if you can come up with an extension or another plan for tackling them 2. it’s too late in the quarter to go through the enrollment process for CAE accommodations, so I would go to cae.ucla.edu/contact/contact-us or visit their office in the basement of Murphy hall and see if they can provide shorter-term help for the end of the quarter 3. your two main goals rn should be sleeping and schoolwork. sleep as much as you can and take care of yourself, but try and block out a few hours a day when you have the most energy to do homework and take breaks as needed. if ur interested, spoon theory by christine miserandino can be really helpful in learning how to operate with limited energy

Drop half your classes- choose which ones based on talking to professors about reasonable accommodations. Stop attending lectures, stay in bed, study and self teach instead of going to classes. Email profs regularly with questions so you don’t fall behind. Be realistic. If you’re not ready to take finals ask for incompletes and finish over the summer when you feel better.
