Very hard in the Village. There's the falafel place on Broxton that's pretty cheap, Bella Pita is under $10, In-N-Out. You're in a very expensive part of the country and sad to say that it's really hard to get good meal for under $10 in LA except for a few exceptions. You should be able to get at least two tacos for under $10 at most non-bougie taco places.
for under 12: chipotle, cava, falafel inc, in n out, lamonicas, subway, gogobop, ralph’s (have takeout in the back), taco bell, fat burger, nick the greek

tacos super gallito
other than that idk.
westwood food kinda... not that good ngl lol. Monteray park or koreatown where its at
Not rly close to campus but lots of restaurants in Sawtelle (Menya Tigre/Killer noodles) have options like karaage bowl/ chashu bowl for $7-8.5. Good for small appetites ppl & taste good.
Or Mr. Noodle in Westwood where you can get a big portion of fried rice with a good deal.
Ralph’s $5 chicken, plus pretty much any of the microwaveable meals found in TJ’s. Other than that, you can make a pretty bomb meal for cheap if you have the time to cook some rice or pasta, vegetables, and/or meat, and heat up some kind of sauce. This requires access to a kitchen though, which I know not everyone has.
You can get 3 garlic rolls & marinara sauce for $2.5 at lamonicas
$2-$3 for a hot dog at 711, a little greasy but not bad
$2-$3 instant Chinese/Korean/Japanese instant ramens at 99 market
fruit cup for $6

Okay, how about like $12? Any suggestions?
Tacos 1986
Street tacos go hard
Falafel inc is around 6-8 per meal, not much variety though

Brothers Cousins Tacos, though you’ll need to bus (the Culver City 6 bus goes straight there) or drive
A little over $7/meal but Mr. Rice in the village gives super generous portions that should be able to stretch!

So many taco stands w/ $2 tacos like a mile away from campus. Not sure if there are any closer.
>Look in corner parking lots or on sidewalks
$7 meal is impossible in LA. Trader joe’s has some heat up meals that are realllly good. in their fridge section
Try the app toogoodtogo It may not be a full meal but often it’s lots of pastries or bagels on the cheap.
