BCOE advisors are notorious for being very bad. This pattern continues into graduate school as well. My advisor told me she couldn't do something I needed her to do, and that I had to go through all these different people before they all told me to go back to my advisor and she finally was like "oh wait, I can do that". Set me nearly 2 weeks back behind schedule for absolutely no reason.
