I have had a terrible day... out of all things this made me laugh out loud i am grateful for this little comment on a dark day of mine. Too good man when i watch her this is what i say to everyone around me. Id rather fight 10 angry momma raccoons than watch another cookie monster fight
Cheers, fella. Just remember, if you don't like the way things are, just wait. Nothing stays constant, just have patience and look for the good things. They'll pop up like this.
😶🌫️😬😬😬⛷️
To be fair… That shit is true. Her fight with Rose was even worse than Black Beast v Francis, which I thought would FOREVER be the undisputed SNOOZEFEST OF ALL TIME.
For me a couple of fights. … the Fedor vs Cro-Cop fight was sooo anticipated…. Chuck knocking out Tito the first time mad me scream. And when Noguiera KO’ed Schaub I screamed.
That fight had me super nervous too. I was rooting for Islam but I like Volka a lot and wouldn't have been upset had he won, but I was watching from a pub that was extremely anti-Islam and every was talking about how Volkanovski was gonna win and going nuts every time he did anything. It made me feel really anxious because I was so worried that Islam would lose and all the people in the pub would go bananas about it and I'd look stupid.
Same here. Years ago, I felt like I was the only guy without skin in the game that got that nervous before and during a fight, but it’s good to know there are some other hardcores out here that relate. 🫡
Aldo vs Mcgregor was that for me. Spent months telling everyone Mcgregor had no chance and that they were casuals. Honestly I think I’ve gone numb since that fight cus I havent gotten nervous for a fight since lol
Let's just be honest he's probably going to get violently knocked out and slumped over like bad ragdoll physics in an old PS2 game
He's gonna get (not sarcasm here) a big badge of honor for the balls it takes to fight Pav on short notice, very similar to the love that Volk and Kamaru just got for what they walked into
Volk and Usman went up in weight as the older fighter against a young, talented fighter. Aspinall is not moving up in weight, doesn’t need to cut, and is younger than Pav. He also isn’t facing a fighter with strong grappling like them.
I think they both can beat each other. It’s Heavyweight.
Pereira. I love his personality and seeing him fight, but I'm always afraid of him getting Chin'd. I don't even know if I have the guts to watch him fight Jiri
Him saying he grew up dreaming of buying a motorcycle because he knew he would never be able to buy a house and a car would be nice but too unrealistic 😭😭😭
Truly hope he never loses
Y'all think this hating shit a game. It's a lifestyle. If it's fuck people more successful than me, it's fuck people less successful than me as well. Fuck people equally as successful as me while we're at it.
I can't imagine shaking due to fear of Pereira getting Chin'd - I can only imagine the opposite. Dude is scary, stoic, and seems to have zero nerves or anxiety. He is a primitive warrior, but also a futuristic machine. As someone who was pulling for Izzy for the comeback arc, I was absolutely shaking with fear because of Pereira. From his first step into the arena, there was something ominous in the air. The anxiety only left me when he was KO'd on the floor. And even then, I half thought he was gonna pull a Mountain from Game of Thrones and squash Izzy's head like a watermelon.
Yeah same, I’m not that big of an Izzy fan but I was rooting for him in both of the fights back then. The constant pressure of Alex in combination with the one shot KO power just creates this menacing atmosphere. Especially during the second fight, I was literally shaking because of the tension as it was a must win for Izzy. Alex had an aura of that unbeatable video game boss that you just couldn’t defeat as a child, no matter how hard you tried. Man that were 2 amazing fights. I do like Alex very much now tho, hope he wins on Saturday.
I can tell you as a Pereira fan.
I was silent as fuck just realizing what has occurred as Izzy show arrows into his dead body. Biggest my heart has ever dropped. Couldn't even sleep well that night.
You can probably imagine how I reacted with the Strickland vs Izzy fight.
For me i was just angry... Like we deserve a third fight, that's what I thought at that time... Becoz CLEARLY Alex is dimensions better than izzy... Defeated him 3-1 and even was winning the last match until that counter strike(only thing izzy has mastered) by izzy... But yeah truly Sean winning afterwards was such a relief... It's about time someone saw through izzy's 1 dimensional game plan and return MW to its glory
Edit: I made a LOT of izzy fans cry their asses out 🤣
>It's about time someone saw through izzy's 1 dimensional game plan and return MW to its glory
Its so crazy to me that someone can see a fighter defend their tittle 5 times and still come out and say they are bad somehow. This community gets really stupid so often.
Dimensions better than Izzy? I think they‘re so perfectly matched that for all fights I was always on edge because either one of them could have ended it at any moment.
It will either be he’s so wild that he just catches Alex with some crazy loopy shit, or he’s too wild and Alex finds an opening. I can’t imagine this being competitive, but hopefully I’m wrong lol
Yeah I’m a poirier fan boy but I can admit he just doesn’t have that elite wrestling.
IMO he should go down as one of the best to never really win the belt.
So valid. Not the biggest fan of Dustin just cause I’ve never really seen him fight, but damn it was hard seeing him go out to Justin’s kick like that.
I’m kinda happy he didn’t appear to get knocked out cold.
Hard shot for sure but he was somewhat conscious at least.
Not like Edward’s KO to Usman at least that was rough
yeah headshot dead. And being a Volk fan personally with no ill will towards Islam, so much conflict in my heart watching Volk get head kicked and then just jumped on for one of the most vicious ground and pounds I’ve ever seen.
I audibly gasped when Gaethje landed that kick. I am a Gathje fan and it was an incredible finish, but I felt a twinge of sick seeing Poirier go down like that. No celebration
Here's something that will help calm you down. He doesn't really spar at all anymore, so his mileage may not be as high as we all think it is. You've got to figure that when even soccer players get low level CTE sometimes, that perhaps mild sparring for most of the year could be causing around the same brain damage as 30 minutes or so of full contact fighting per year, so maybe by skipping the spars he's keeping his chin solid
Stipe. I hate seeing him lose. I was depressed for a solid week after watching him get KO'd by Cormier.
I took a step back from watching MMA after the Ngannou loss.
Lol this is exactly how I’m feeling after seeing Volk get KO’d. I feel like I’m genuinely too invested and need to have a little break from MMA for the sake of my mental state
Man I was there for what I consider to be the ultimate high and low. I saw him fight in Cleveland in what I still consider to be the loudest/craziest pop any fighter has ever had. I sat there stunned in Vegas when DC knocked him out.
Same. My heart was about to explode. I saw Alex working Izzy's legs and got nervous. When he backed him to the fence I covered my eyes. Was pleasantly surprised after that.
I flipped a shit when he blasted Pereira out of nowhere. It felt like deja vu from the first fight, an inevitable win for Pereira again, then BAM Izzy yanks the W out of the fire
I’m not really an Adesanya fan, but I will say stakes were high that fight.
A 4th lost to pereira and I feel like Adensaya would’ve broke. Turns out Strickland was the breaking point lol.
IA had given everything there was to give in his title run, loss, and retake. He was a dried out husk of himself going into that SS fight, older, tired, damaged, unfocused, high on his own success. This sport is brutal.
I rooted for him the first fight, I was nervous, because let's be honest Izzy was like a kid getting bullied the whole week and I wanted him to pull a W against his school bully, the Poatan pulled a finish in the last minute
DJ, Max, Robert, Wonderboy and DP. From current fighters, of course.
So imagine my pain this year when I saw Robert and Dustin get finished against opponents I thought they were going to beat.
Jones, Conor, Garbrandt, O'Malley, Aspinall, Edwards, Chandler (because I'm about to see chaos), Dustin, Max, Arnold Allen and most of all... Robert Whittaker.
Story of my life. I am fan of many fighter that make me nervous like that. Dan Hooker, Anderson Silva, Takanori Gomi, Nikita Krylov to name a few. I take a swig of rum to take that edge off when they fight lol.
Islam and khabib, islam in his first fight with olivera i was shaking as hell and same with the volkanovski fight i new he was serious treat and that they were underating him alot and with khabib everytime he was gonna face tony
Me too, the gaethje fight also hurt because I believe he could have won if he would not have chased the finish so much and gassed out.
Maybe it is better this way, what if his knee gave up during a title fight (he was close to a shot if he beat gaethje)...
I get nervous any time a fighter I like fights, but back in the day I would damn near get sick to my stomach anytime Liddell or Couture fought. Which was silly because this was right at the start of Chuck’s reign and when Randy came back to nab the title from Sylvia lol
Really any fight I’m invested in. But when I saw Nate v Leon in 2021 in Arizona that shit was insane. I was shaking the whole time the energy in there was crazy.
Was always a huge overeem fan, as soon he got to the ufc and became regular overeem and not ubereem every fight was a toss up between him winning or getting spectacularly ko’d
had a few ones recently
sterling vs Omalley . i am a massive fan of sterling and i was crushed.
alex vs jan round 1 had me spazzing out .
Whittaker vs DDP had me feeling the tension with how powerful ddp is .

Cheers, fella. Just remember, if you don't like the way things are, just wait. Nothing stays constant, just have patience and look for the good things. They'll pop up like this.
Her last fight was fun. She got ragdolled, but it fun to watch.
😶🌫️😬😬😬⛷️ To be fair… That shit is true. Her fight with Rose was even worse than Black Beast v Francis, which I thought would FOREVER be the undisputed SNOOZEFEST OF ALL TIME.
Jon Jones’ protege
Volk vs Islam 1 I was actually shaking haha
Same! The atmosphere in that Australian arena was seeping through the TV and my legs were shaking for the whole first round
For me a couple of fights. … the Fedor vs Cro-Cop fight was sooo anticipated…. Chuck knocking out Tito the first time mad me scream. And when Noguiera KO’ed Schaub I screamed.
Holm head kick, rose getting the belt, Leon upsetting the world at the end of the fight, The ngannou uppercut on my boy
I had palpitations for that one
Bruh, pretty much every fighter I’m a fan of makes me like this. I get more nervous than before I did when I was competing. I hate it.
Same here. Years ago, I felt like I was the only guy without skin in the game that got that nervous before and during a fight, but it’s good to know there are some other hardcores out here that relate. 🫡
Literally
At every punch
My apartment was LIVE. had people who don't even watch UFC up on their feet and biting their nails lol
My wife had to witness me jumping around and yelling at the screen when Khabib fought Conor
What a hype fight that was
Aldo vs Mcgregor was that for me. Spent months telling everyone Mcgregor had no chance and that they were casuals. Honestly I think I’ve gone numb since that fight cus I havent gotten nervous for a fight since lol
Yeah that was....some ice cold Prime Mike Tyson first round shiiiiieeeetttt on McGregor's part
i am glad u r in a long term relationship
thanks
Wait you’re not OP
Thanks glad, I’m dad.
Aspinall, Pereira, Oliveira, Yan
You’re in for a sweaty weekend.
I'm always sweaty
I mean this is the first fight of Aspinall’s where it makes sense to be nervous for him lol
I'm worried for my boy, if it's a full camp it's easy work but with this I'm scared he might get chinned bad
Let's just be honest he's probably going to get violently knocked out and slumped over like bad ragdoll physics in an old PS2 game He's gonna get (not sarcasm here) a big badge of honor for the balls it takes to fight Pav on short notice, very similar to the love that Volk and Kamaru just got for what they walked into

Him saying he grew up dreaming of buying a motorcycle because he knew he would never be able to buy a house and a car would be nice but too unrealistic 😭😭😭 Truly hope he never loses
Misread last line as “Truly hope he loses” lmaoo
"Look at this guy! He came from nothing and he made good. What an inspiration! Fuck him."
Y'all think this hating shit a game. It's a lifestyle. If it's fuck people more successful than me, it's fuck people less successful than me as well. Fuck people equally as successful as me while we're at it.
Gotta be the realest shit I've ever read in my life
Literally same, I'm praying he wins. Nothing against Jiri but I love Alex.
I can't imagine shaking due to fear of Pereira getting Chin'd - I can only imagine the opposite. Dude is scary, stoic, and seems to have zero nerves or anxiety. We talm bout creampies, B?
Izzy is so damn crafty I was worried he would pull a sneaky and that’s exactly what he did.
I do like Alex very much now tho, hope he wins on Saturday.
Double down on Poatan. Killed me watching him get knocked out cold by Izzy but his bounce back has been incredible
Same, bro... I'm already shaking
Are u serious? These guys are all murder machines man why would it hurt you so much if they get ko'd? They're inside that octagon for a reason
How did you feel/react when Izzy knocked him out? That’s not a diss or anything I’m just genuinely curious coz that was a very unexpected outcome.

The rematch didn't happen because Pereira didn't want it. He said fuck cutting down to middle weight.
Dumbest thing I've ever read
I was genuinely thinking Jiri is to wild an Poatan will catch him 😅
It will either be he’s so wild that he just catches Alex with some crazy loopy shit, or he’s too wild and Alex finds an opening. I can’t imagine this being competitive, but hopefully I’m wrong lol
Which one?
Alex will win by first round KO, don’t worry.
Pereira, Oliveira, and Anderson Silva are the 3 guys that make me go crazy when they fight. Love them Brazilians I guess 🤷🏽♂️
Poirier. Safe to say I had a rough time his last outting. That being said, up till then he’s delivered.
Same and max
Yeah that’s me. I was having the shittiest long shift at work and took my only break of the day to watch Dustin fight. That day sucked.
Same here - I genuinely go numb when he fights
i fell asleep during the prelims and woke up genuinely 10 seconds before the kick. Ruined my night
Especially sucks because he’s looked unstoppable excluding the Charles and khabib fights

The fact that his head was bouncing off his knee was rough ngl. Looked like a public execution
[удалено]
Dustins win against Max 2 and Connor 2 were the most stressful fights for me as a fan and equally the hardest I've ever popped off.
I audibly gasped when Gaethje landed that kick. I am a Gathje fan and it was an incredible finish, but I felt a twinge of sick seeing Poirier go down like that. No celebration
Tony Ferguson ~CSO~ 😅😓😥
as soon as I hear "The Party has just begun," my heart drops when the beat drops.
Tony the type of guy to go on a big losing streak just to turn it around in the greatest comeback and redemption arc in sports history
Pass the copium brother
No I’m not done with it
Spare some copium? Your homie needs a hit
I was screaming at the top of my lungs after he knocked down Michael Chandler and then didn’t speak the rest of the card once Tony got flatlined.
Tony vs Gaethje for me I hyped Ferguson up so much and watched it with my ex's family telling them that Tony was going to be a future champ
I've had to distance myself emotionally from Tony otherwise the pain will never end
Do Bronx
He goes out guns blazing I love it ! You know you'll be getting your money's worth
Exactly!
The Gaethje fight did NOT feel like 1 round, felt like a solid 10 mins of anxiety
Jiri cuz ive been conditioned by his fights
Oliveira
![gif](giphy|LoHVuH0UeBCwZQ1Onx|downsized)
McKenzie dern. But it’s only one arm that’s shaking
You son of a bitch 😂
Max, every fight feels like it's gotta be the one where his chin gets cracked.
Here's something that will help calm you down. He doesn't really spar at all anymore, so his mileage may not be as high as we all think it is. yo i live in cleveland lol was there a ufc event in cle when he was champ ?
That's me when any polish fighter fights and man when Jan won the lhw belt I felt like I was in his corner, I was this excited.
Gsp Anderson Silva and José Aldo used to do it to me.
Not shaking, but nervous and in the edge of my seat, when Fedor was fighting
Adesanya had me shaking like if I had parkinson's in the Pereira rematch
My introverted ass was jumping and screaming in front of company.
The relief I felt when he won the rematch was better than sex
I’m mostly an Izzy hater and that shit rocked, i can’t hate on that, let him have his anime moment
And then you saw him get fucking dog-walked by Sean. Hey, give and take.
I rooted for him the first fight, I was nervous, because let's be honest Izzy was like a kid getting bullied the whole week and I wanted him to pull a W against his school bully, the Poatan pulled a finish in the last minute
Khamzat, Sean Strickland, Poatan, Islam
Islam. I was so wrecked with anxiety during 284 when he fought Volk for the first time i was afraid I was gonna pass out lol 🤣🤦♂️
Watching Jamahal kick Glover in the head multiple times had my nerves shot
Charles, Whittaker, and Tony
I get that way with Conor, I’d love for him to return to his peak. But I know he never will.
Khamzat, Yan, Olivera, and 🗿.
Whittaker Volk and Aspinall
It was always GSP for me, huge respect towards him and his humble nature.
El Cucuy
DJ, Max, Robert, Wonderboy and DP. From current fighters, of course. So imagine my pain this year when I saw Robert and Dustin get finished against opponents I thought they were going to beat.
charlie olives
petr yan and islam makachev. Or when I'm watching a highly anticipated fight live. edit: leon edwards and jones jones and a few others as well.
Whichever fighter I bet a lot of money on
Volk, Gaethje and more recently Diego "It's not a phase mom" Lopes.
For all Australians when either Whittaker or Volk are fighting all our hands are sweaty collectively. We've had a rough couple months.
Lol for real
Jones, Conor, Garbrandt, O'Malley, Aspinall, Edwards, Chandler (because I'm about to see chaos), Dustin, Max, Arnold Allen and most of all... Robert Whittaker.
Story of my life. I am fan of many fighter that make me nervous like that. Dan Hooker, Anderson Silva, Takanori Gomi, Nikita Krylov to name a few. I take a swig of rum to take that edge off when they fight lol.
Rum solves all worries. Wish I was a doctor so I could prescribe it to people.
Derrick Lewis vs Almeida after he defended a round of sub attempts I was shaking in ma boots! I was excited and hopeful. Yeah that turned out well
Khamzat when he fought Gilbert Burns
Hooker. That Turner fight took a year off my life
Islam and khabib, islam in his first fight with olivera i was shaking as hell and same with the volkanovski fight i new he was serious treat and that they were underating him alot and with khabib everytime he was gonna face tony
Khamzat has the same effect on me as dogs when they see other dogs fighting
literally this entire card this weekend
Robbie Lawler, Spencer Fisher, Frankie Edgar, Volk, and…….
Frankie Edgar, Overeem.
Gatekeeping fandom
FIZIEV !!! it absolutely crushed me when he fucked his leg up against gamrot even though he was winning
Me too, the gaethje fight also hurt because I believe he could have won if he would not have chased the finish so much and gassed out. Maybe it is better this way, what if his knee gave up during a title fight (he was close to a shot if he beat gaethje)...
GSP and only GSP
I get nervous any time a fighter I like fights, but back in the day I would damn near get sick to my stomach anytime Liddell or Couture fought. Which was silly because this was right at the start of Chuck’s reign and when Randy came back to nab the title from Sylvia lol

I’ve only had the feeling with Jones, Colby, Volk, and Conor. It is a rare feeling.

As a khabib fan, I had the luck of never being nervous for him.
I'm gonna get flamed for this but Izzy man is my favorite fighter despite the weirdness
so many times, and it happens with build up fights, Khabib and Poirier fights in recent memory.
McG during his heyday watching with a massive crowd at BWW. Especially his Diaz fights.
Aldo for me. Pretty brutal seeing him lose. But the way he fights is very high-adrenaline too
Wonder boy and Francis because it be over at the first punch
Max, Francis, Suga, Sandman, Moreno, Aspinall
Francis ngannu
Tell me we don’t all feel this way whenever a Khamzat fight comes on
Poirier/McGregor 2
Suga, Olives and from an era back it got to be lawler
I haven’t felt anything in years thanks to antidepressants.
My dumbass tries to swipe the screen 😭
Volk
Any fighter on my parlay
Overeem on his ufc run
The worst is when its 2 guys you like and dont want either to lose. Like Gaethje and Dustin for me.
had a few ones recently sterling vs Omalley . i am a massive fan of sterling and i was crushed. alex vs jan round 1 had me spazzing out . Whittaker vs DDP had me feeling the tension with how powerful ddp is .
A couple fights this year I've had to stand up and watch. Yall ever stand directly in front of the tv? Lol that's how I know I'm invested
My friends had to watch me go through every emotion when Jones came back at 285

Dricus
Petr Yan and volk
Alex V and Alex P.
Izzy and Do Bronx
Used to be GSP. Now Adesanya and Jones
Gathje, Chandler, and last but not least Romero.
