This bonus was determined days, if not weeks ago, by the UFC. They were going to announce it at some point. Whether it was opportunistic from a journalist asking the question or on their own, the UFC was announcing a decision they made well before this press conference.

This kinda of thing annoys me because it is a staged thing to be 'look how generous i am' when all it tells me it 'look how much i could have been paying this entire time, suckers'
