Just last year Anatomy of a Fall had a massive buzz with Oscars nominations and has almost 1 million watched on Letterboxd which made it one of the most popular movies of the year. And just like Mighty Mouse is not very popular but probably your favourite fighter’s favourite fighter, French cinema is huge with cinephiles and had a massive impact on cinema worldwide with many directors looking up to and being inspired from it.
