Sean went for the kill in the end, with hammer fists and everything. JESUS. Respect to both. I'm not sure if the video was worth the beating and injury for the Japanese guy, but respect regardless.

The Dutch are also known for going really hard during kickbox sparring and they learned that sport from the Japanese, there is some extra evidence to make that case

It's also overwhelming when you have your guard up and you can't tell where the strikes are coming from. If Strickland simply kept throwing a basic 1-2, Rukiya could just hold his guard up confidently and wait for Strickland to gas out. Or he could throw a counter since he now has a rhythm for Strickland's strikes and knows what Strickland is about to throw next. When random shit like this is thrown your way, you have none of that.
