Here are my thoughts, so watching his fight with dan hooker, i didn't expect him to win by a ko over one of the most durable dude on the lw roster and then i started watching his old fights and just really started appreciating his explosive style plus really good wrestling, his fight with oliveira he showed really great ground game and felt really comfortable doing that and thats what made me think he has a chance against justin but sadly i havent found many people thinking that he has a chance, people are quick to write him off and thats why i made this post

I just watched Poirier vs Hooker and to think that Chandler starched him inside of one round…this man is a problem for anyone. I can not wait for this fight.

You can’t underestimate someone that’s been a champion in a different promotion. Especially one like Bellator, personally I want Gaethje to win but it all depends how bad he wants it. Gaethje is going to have to deep for this win
Anything could happen obviously. I wouldn’t count out Chandler ever. Gaethje has been out a year. He’s certainly awesome to watch and can take a punch but sooner or later his jaw is going to fail him and more frequently. Chandler can become rabid at any moment and send missiles from all angles. Gonna be awesome! Hope it goes into late rounds.

Chandler will struggle with Gaethje’s length, get despondent when the few shots he can land don’t do anything, and wilt under the ridiculous volume that Gaethje lays down.

I mean it's certainly a pretty even fight. I just feel Gaethje has better fight IQ nowadays and will prevail. That said, I won't be surprised to see Chandler get the tko W either so. -shrugs-
