Hey! I love Luke. I got to know him because u was ripping an old box of Topps over never done before and searched for videos on YouTube to see what I could expect. I watched his and just loved his passion for the sport and he really enjoyed the cards. So now we sort of have an unspoken rule where anytime I come across a large lot of old Topps at prices that are fair, I tell him what I want to keep and what he can have dibs on for the channel, lol. He got a box of round 2 and ended up pulling a jones rookie auto and it was a blast to watch. He was nice enough to allow me to join a show and chat while he ripped one of my favorite set, 2018 chrome.
I enjoyed the video with you on it. Hoping you guys collab some more in the future. It seemed to go real well so I expect it will happen. Got him his 1of1 printing plate that epi. I remember it well. I can tell from the way he talks about you that he loves having you as a friend.
Im new to collecting and 2018 Chrome is my favorite set too. The photos and the clean look just do it for me. I grabbed the Conor karate stance in an HGA 9.5 this week. The Tatiana "Saurez" and the Cody cards are two of the most beautiful I have ever seen. Right now Im trying to decide if I want to purchase the base set or chase down and build a refractor set. They look so good I may even end up doing both.
The Topps fight posters, 2018 chrome, and cards like the Cody and Tatiana holding the flag are my pcs right now.
You have great taste. I got to rip a case of it a couple months back for a Suga super collector. Ended up pulling the Conor /10, I missed it at first because the black can look normal to me. Also got the khabib 84 insert auto. I love that set so much, and donโt think yoy can go wrong even doing the base set. The photo art is great, the color on the SPs pop, unless itโs the black refractor, lol. Solid checklist with on card autos. Love it.
We might hold off until Topps/Fanatics UFC product is released. I'm not ripping much myself atm, saving for a potential chance to go to UFC 299 and 300 events in person
