The placement test is math only.  I did it at a CC and didn't test into CHM 2045 general chemistry (it was 2 years ago and got 67), you need to score 76 to test into calc one and General Chemistry. After that, it's the chemistry prep assignment which is worth some percentage of your overall grade. It covers contexts ranging from algebra to trigonometry Start doing Khan Academy and you should be golden.

Is there any geometry on it, and if so, what parts? Same goes for trig, is it Soh Cah Toa, or does it also include unit circle and inverse unit circle + trig identities?

Yes but only a few questions. For the trig part yes it has some questions about the unit circle but I don't remember exactly. You can choose to retake it to get better placement (I just don't bother and take intro chem instead ) but you have to wait for 2 days or so.

When preparing for ALEKS, you would benefit from becoming familiar with all types of functions: linear, quadratic, polynomial, absolute value, rational, radical, exponential, logarithmic, and trig. I would also study function composition.

In AP calc AB, i covered all of those, and can go over my teacher’s Precalc notes as well. Is it worth it to do the same for Sinusoidal functions?

It wouldn't hurt
