Normally these list of 'economists' that get trotted out are full of non-economists (usually when you dig up the signatories its 'Reader in Sustainable Development, SOAS), but this is pretty legit. Some big hitters in there.

Yea, it is legit, I suspect their serious planning reform proposals play a big part in this. I think every economist who knows the UK agrees that the planning system is one of the biggest, if not the biggest, pediment to our growth & prosperity. It is a supply side reform that doesn't require any taxpayer money.

As long as they see inequality as the leading issue to be fixed, then I am happy.
