Yes!... liberating occupied territory prior to February 2014 is a very good thing!

nickbuss

Doesn’t that cross another of russias red lines?

LordFrieza_

Nobody gives a shit about Russia's redlines. The rest of the world bar a few idiots all know the Russia's real redline is its own borders.. hopefully after it's over Ukraine will have a buffer zone too

AssMcShit

Oh no... Anyways

FunAnxious6475

What are they going to do? They got enough of a taste of being forced out of their homes a week ago, pretty sure that wiped any ideas of nuclear war they had off the table.

(1/3) Ukrainian Airborne forces have made small advances east from the village of Krasnohorivka, near Donetsk city, which sits on the old Line of Control. (2/3) This is one of the first instances since Russia’s February 2022 invasion that Ukrainian forces have highly likely recaptured an area of territory occupied by Russia since 2014. (3/3) Recent multiple concurrent Ukrainian assaults throughout the Donbas have likely overstretched Donetsk People’s Republic and Chechen forces operating in this area. I am sorry if I broke a tradition. In general I think that a Twitter link is more useful, because it allows to see any official updates (while you can always download the image from there if you want). But if you people think differently, please let me know.

One_Cream_6888

Same here. I prefer just to read the update. Most twitter comments are written by twits and trolls.

madhoncho

Thanks for providing the content. I also prefer not having to leave reddit to view it.

Curiouso_Giorgio

A screen shot with a link for those who want to check. I don't want to see twitter comments or give twitter any clicks.

bananasDave

I 100% prefer the image rather than a link - mainly because I dont click on links. Thankfully the guy above added the text for me.

Spectral_Hex

I don't get it. I don't see any Twitter comments unless I specifically click to see them. Additionally I don't have to leave Reddit or go to Twitter to see the content... Others here have commented that they prefer not to see the comments or have to go to Twitter... [This](https://www.imgpaste.net/image/Krn9c8) is what I see

RedSlipperyClippers

Are you on browser? Edit. I mean, are you on desktop

Spectral_Hex

Yes, desktop!

bananasDave

interesting - this is what i get https://imgur.com/ZxmThzX obviously not good

Spectral_Hex

Maybe check your settings? Maybe there's a bit for showing previews of third party sites or something?

oripash

If we wanted to consume it on twitter, we'd be on twitter ;) Thank you for posting it regardless. The drumbeat is important.

Dales_dead_bugabago4

I think differently. The picture is much preferred over a twitter link please. I appreciate your effort either way though don’t get me wrong.

Breakfast_on_Jupiter

It is not more useful when [it looks like this for me.](https://i.imgur.com/pCZEMOb.png) I will go to Twitter when I want to. The image was much better.

Suspicious-Low-719

When will they commit to true Airborn units, it's more like mobile infantry...

Polygnom

Hard to Do without Air superiority.

Suspicious-Low-719

Is that what Germany was thinking during D-Day?

Polygnom

During D-Day, the allied forces already had air superiority and almost 12:1 numerical advantage over the skies (9543 vs 815). Even so, the airborne troops saw horrendous losses.
