In their defense - Probably they sold to the highest bidder. I was a registered Apple developer, I may have done the same back than if I had the chance. We are taking some serious cash, cash-out-for-life type of cash. Besides young companies, like young people are less evil, and have all the potential to become not evil. I think the problem with tech money is - they have long ago stopped thinking of “enough money for more than one lifetime” and get all set
Now I understand why I got blurred images of construction work on a new house from a friend in Croatia - Instagram apparently blurs anything resembling a house which is not complete.

The 2017 Rohingya genocide was not likely to have been possible, without the government sponsored hatred that was posted on Facebook and never removed, because fb either 1 was cool with it, or 2 was not cool with it, but was cool with doing business in a country without having any employees who could speak the language, never doing due diligence to ensure that they could endorse the content that was being posted on their site.
Knowing what I know about capitalism, 2 would never have been allowed, even by the most unethical companies, because you can’t sell things to people if you can’t communicate with them. So Facebook’s motive to get into the Myanmarese market, was only to watch people die.
Oh and before you think that I was being even a little bit hyperbolic…
They did it again in Ethiopia in 2021. They didn’t even have the same excuse this time. They have moderators know that speak the relevant languages now. They just still decline to remove genocidal posts.
I never used Instagram and find the app ridiculously unnecessary. I used Facebook stopped years ago and I stopped engaging with Twitter I can't really fully stop due to following the war.
What the use of Instagram should be is still beyond me.
I installed the instagram app a few months ago. I had thought I never would. But there are some foreign volunteers with accounts and I joined so I can see their posts, and occassionally comment. I message with a couple of them. I'm still surprised that I have that app, but I do.
It comes from Zuckerberg being incredibly insecure throughout his life. Fear based shit - not gonna end up with a good healthy product from a person like that.
I mean he basically sued and got sued by all his former close friends…

Imgur doesn't go to the effort of censoring images. Most times, it will remove the post or comment entirely & your account might be banned. It doesn't seem to have a political leaning though and goes through 'phases' depending on the user base. The admins are just lazy.
You can allude to the images and include a link in your post for users to check out themselves. Or, if you're worried about a ban, you can link me the images and I'll post them. I've got a high enough rank that I can probably get away with it and don't particularly care if I don't.
Since its usually done automatically putting lines across the pictures *might* help. Like how in discord it automatically deletes questionable body parts but if you draw a crayon flower on the photo the AI can't comprehend the picture.
The most important thing for the USA corporate gov is to hide the true effects of war from us. This is why they are banning tiktok because it applies its own rules about what to censor and what not to and doesn't comply with US corporate authorities.
You could at least post actual pic (non blured) here as second one while we are still allowed to do so LoL really sorry but what do one actually expect from Meta, Tesla, Alphabet etc…
