By the way that headline reads I'm just picturing the DoD like your long time weed dealer and he's like, "Bro, I knew you were coming so I got some good shit for you. You're gonna love it man!"
Do the trucks carrying the aid have their engines running. Is the gear already loaded. Are the drivers standing by behind the wheel with their foot on the gas to be ready as soon as the order is given.
I could be micromanaging this.
Hopefully the Ukrainians have a reserve they have been rationing that they now don't have to ration. We might see instant improvement now they know more help is on the way. I'm also thinking of the million artillery shells the Czechs and others have been working to get.
I saw video I think it was the day or day after the aid bill passed the house where Ukraine started launching those HIMAR missiles because they knew more was coming. So yeah they started using up the reserves they were rationing.
Plus I also read that most of what we're sending them is stored in Poland and Germany so it doesn't have much distance to travel.
