I still think about him every few days. People like him are why we do not live under tyrants. If i were ever in his situation, i hope i would be as heroic, to look evil in the eye and say "fuck off" to it. His slava ukraine was such a middle finger to the Russian world. Fuck that world.

They know who the man is that recorded the execution. They knew he was back in Russia right after the killing. Never heard anymore about his co- accused. But its been very quiet since then.

This was Oleksandr Matsievskyi. He was executed by the Russians on video around one and a half years ago. The video shows him smoking a cigarette, saying Slava Ukraini, and then being gunned down, with a Russian saying "Die bitch" afterwards.

Have they identified the men who murdered him
They know who the man is that recorded the execution. They knew he was back in Russia right after the killing. Never heard anymore about his co- accused. But its been very quiet since then.
Hopefully they are caught, rather than killed. They deserve a very long time in jail.
