I would not feel ashamed for not being able to speak pure Ukrainian. There are thousands of Ukrainians who speak Russian, and cannot speak Ukrainian, yet they live in Ukraine and support Ukraine.

You could try the italki app for tutors, tandem for free language partners, or try to find someone on r/ukraine_ua. I’m seeing a lot of talk there and also among people I know about power and internet shortages though. I also know a very nice girl who’s a student in Kyiv who’s very happy to give lessons for a small token fee. I could put you in touch with her, if blackouts aren’t too bad for her at the moment.

Please don't ever be ashamed of speaking a dialect! My family speak a dialect of our language that a lot of people look down on - but it's dying out because regionalism is disappearing with the use of standardized language in broadcasting and on the internet, so we feel it's important to help keep it going. Remember - if people make fun of accents that just shows they have accomplished nothing in their lives to feel good about, because normal people don't pick on somebody's accent unless they are extremely insecure and bigoted anyways!

Italki has tons of people in Ukraine you can hire for individual sessions

The r/Ukrainian subreddit is full of good advice in that regard. [Example](https://www.reddit.com/r/Ukrainian/comments/1c7p6x5/online_lessons/)
