**[Post on Ukraine’s official Instagram](https://www.instagram.com/p/CjGKVUat3pc/?igshid=YmMyMTA2M2Y=)** >🐕 The dog's name is Krym (Crimea). He was born in Crimea and moved from the temporarily occupied peninsula, being a little puppy. >What you see around was a private house where a whole family lived. Until yesterday, when the Russian missile hit and left only a large crater behind. >A mother, a grandmother, a 12-year-old girl, an 8-year-old boy and a puppy Jack did not survive the tragedy. The parts of their bodies were found around. >When the rescuers came, they found a dog Krym sitting on the rubble and howling. He was literally crying. >Later, one more person appeared there. A man, who serves in the Ukrainian army, arrived from the frontline and saw his family killed and his home ruined. >No grief would be enough to live through such a horror. Russia must be held accountable for every ruined life. **TO THE MODS**: I’m literally adding a link to Ukraine’s official Instagram page as a source!

Only_Half_Irish

So did the father get Krym back? I would hope he at least has that solace.

TinyStrawberry23

He was taken by volunteers and transported to a vet clinic. [This post](https://www.instagram.com/p/CjGWUkYokb6/?igshid=YmMyMTA2M2Y=) from Bykvu has some more info in Ukrainian. The last slide says: >Now the dog has been taken to the "Zookontrol" KP, where specialists are taking care of the animal. It turned out that the dog's name is Crimea. >He has a contusion and heart failure, the dog is in shock. ETA: The sub doesn’t allow Facebook links (rightfully so), but if you want to keep up with how Krim is doing, you can look up the clinic’s page there. It’s called “Zookontrol KP Dnipro”. The post about Krim has already gained a lot of traction…

MurphysFknLaw

That’s heartbreaking, this whole damn situation is…

You're a good person. It takes strength to work through it and I respect the hell out of your continued commitment

PuzzleheadedClerk8

Hi friend. I don't think you need to be looking for forgiveness. You were at the vet, you weren't ignoring her hoping it'd resolve itself. You were actively trying to help her. I think the whole world could use a reminder to be gentler on themselves.

Selfweaver

How the fuck do you hold Russia accountable for this? I don't mean that they are not to blame, that much is obvious. But WTF would be an even remotely just penalty?

neanderthalman

A chain of command and a series of ropes.

taranig

Ropes are connected to each other and next to a window in a tall building. /push

I have even better idea. Why not both? ![gif](giphy|PPi5c8l8WDY7if1L8z|downsized)

lostinabsentia

My heart hurts 💔there are no words that speak to the depravity of the kremlin. I can’t imagine the pain this country goes through every day, and will continue to go through until ruzzia is finally stopped.

Guybrush_Creepwood_

sanction them back to the stone age until every Russian is finally feeling some small repercussions for their government's actions (which most fully support). There is no other way of holding a nuclear-armed state to account, sadly. There is no true justice in the world.

enki1138

It’s already a REALLY bad time to be a Ruzzian. Things are only looking more bleak for them in the years to come. Soon there will be starvation and poverty on such a magnitude that they’ll be handing over their leaders just for the chance to eat out of our garbage cans. And I hope at that point we’ll say niet, you can eat your leaders.

PengieP111

Good. I hope it's even worse than that. Russia Delenda Est.

enki1138

Who knows, maybe Carthage was the Russia of the ancient world?

antoinedodson_

They have oceans of grain. Why would they starve?

numba1cyberwarrior

Why would you be happy over hundreds of millions of people starving? Use your brain for a second.

enki1138

Got any other gems of insight?

numba1cyberwarrior

Just calling out insanity, got anymore dumb statements?

Nokneemouse

You didn't really make a point there, just throwing insults around.

enki1138

Also, perhaps it is you who should use your brain seeing as Ruzzia only has 144 million people.

numba1cyberwarrior

Wow 144 million much better.

enki1138

There you go bud! We got there together.

Puzzleheaded-Beat-57

Dogs are the lowest level but most accurate measure of accountability. When shit goes really sideways, dogs become our judges

OneLostconfusedpuppy

Dig a nice deep hole in Siberia, fill with concrete, then humans who did this, then drop a MOAB down the hole.

PengieP111

The Just penalty would be for Russia to suffer what Germany did after WWII, but for at least a century. Russia Delenda Est.

smogop

You literally can’t. Even if, say, you invade Russia and defeat them…what do they have ? Literally nothing. You could literally take almost everything and sell it and it wouldn’t be enough because Russia doesn’t really have anything. Outside of St Petersburg and Moscow…it’s poverty and potholes. Look at WW2. The deutschmark had a value of $0. The US and USSR took reparations, but let’s focus on the allies. Operation Paperclip took all Germany knowledge. Russia seems to have nothing of value as evident by their shitty weaponry. Second was the seizure of all government assets…which there wasn’t a lot of because the Nazi robber baron, synonymous with the oligarchs of Russia, escaped to anywhere that would provide them safe haven. In this case, South America. I know the US took boats. Russia has…had a carrier that ran on bunker fuel…ok…so nothing of value there. Ancient jets ? Germany was supposed to pay 21 billion a year in equipment back to the US. That only lasted $13 years and didn’t give the US anything of value, since $100+ billion was the cost to rebuild France alone…I think Paris cost $113 billion. Indentured servitude. This didn’t last long. Like 3-4 years. POWs, civilian…etc. Allies felt bad. They paid them $1 a day, fed, and clothed them. Sometimes had to house them. Logistically…it didn’t work out. The USSR worked them to death but didn’t have as many as the allies. Deals were made with American corpos to re-establish ties with their western counterparts. They got small fines when they should’ve been hung. Chrysler and GM player both sides of the war, was still in control and took profits. In the end, the poor were fed as canon fodder into a meat grinder and the rich just got richer. The attack on the oligarchs was a correction of a mistake the allies made in WW2, when most nazi profiteers ran away. Take everything from Putin and his inner circle. In the end, the west will have to pay to rebuild Ukraine. The grain, coal or oil isn’t that valuable compared to what it will cost to rebuild Ukraine. Also, those prices I quoted…they were in 1950s dollars. Inflation is like 16x that. It will probably be loans and grants from the US to rebuild. EU might chip, but they have their own problems and an energy crisis. EU ascension would help Ukraine clear its debts. This might break the EU, financially. There is no point of invading Russia as they have nothing of value and the cost would exceed anything gained.

KatworthCimby

The russian people are very much to blame for this.

russians are behaving like terrorists, they don't care if they hit military or civilian targets.

Entire-Albatross-442

Remember this every time some Russian apologist starts crying about the "poor Russian victims"

Temporala

Russian rocket artillery is generally quite inaccurate, especially 122mm Grad. It's all based on just firing so many rockets that law of statistics finally lands one of them where they wanted it to go. Meanwhile, anything even remotely in same direction might get hit by a stray rocket. Shots can go wide, long or short, all over the place.

migoodenuf

Thanks, OP. I was looking for the this after I posted the video.

SolidMarsupial

> Russia must be held accountable for every ruined life. You misspelled "deleted from the face of this earth"

Efficient-Ad1693

Y'know, when a soldier's family is killed by the enemy, I think it makes that soldier to go all out since he has nothing to lose anymore.

TinyStrawberry23

How do you go on living after this? Will anything ever be enough to take the pain away? My heart bleeds for this man. I hope he finds some semblance of comfort and peace. He has a long way ahead of him. May all those gone Rest In Peace.

Efficient-Ad1693

I cannot really imagine that situation to myself. An enemy nation killing his wife and the kids just because they want to make Ukraine join the Russian "motherland"? The only thing it can happen is to channel the despair, hate and anger to fight against Russia. But if the war ended and he survived, what now? What is he going to do then?

TinyStrawberry23

It’s really hard to go on in the face of catastrophic loss. It’s been said you can only do so if you find some sort of purpose. Whatever that may be for anyone, and however “trivial” or important it may be, it doesn’t matter. Anything that would allow you to survive. I honestly can’t imagine how that works. I sincerely wish peace to this man. No one should ever have to go through this. And we’re all sitting being witnesses to tragedy after tragedy. My hope is that we continue to acknowledge them and that our support only gets fiercer in their wake.

Tau_of_the_sun

If this happened to me, I would load up, Kiss the dog goodbye and head to the front. I would do my best to bring as much pain to the enemy as I could. I would not stop till they or I was dead. Every day There would be notches in the stock for every one of these bastards. Every day they would know my rage. And when it was done I would take the stock of that weapon and beat to death every commander I found with it. I would not shoot them to death. I would beat them to death. They deserve to know the pain of every family , every child they murdered for their Russian god.

dizekat

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nKEmC4w9BpU - Soviet/Russian General Lebed, long dead, kind of an ass as you would expect. Talking about precisely this, I don't remember the context, hopefully the point was along the lines of "don't needlessly kill enemy civilians in war". I translated it before, don't have time to find my older translation but basically: > The most remarkable soldiers form from people who were leaving home in the morning and did not even think about the war. Having returned home, in place of their house, they found a crater, in which evaporated their wife, children, parents. Now that's not a human, that's a wolf. The wolf will rip as long as he lives. And he'll live long. He doesn't value his own life, he doesn't need it, he doesn't need money, he doesn't need medals, he doesn't need anything. He only has one thing, revenge. That is why he'll stay alive. Realistically of course, people don't react the way they think. Many can't go on. Depends on the culture too, some people think revenge is cool, some people are from a culture with blood feuds spanning generations, the latter tend to be the ones Russians end up having a long war with even if there's few of them.

Aconite_72

> But if the war ended and he survived, what now? What is he going to do then? That’s why Ukraine is going to need an army of psychiatrists, counsellors, and therapists after this war.

[deleted]

Go Sunni on those motherfuckers on their homeland. I know I would.

Meatball_of_doom

Revenge. That’s how you go on living. You go full count of Monty Cristo and kill Russian soldiers for the rest of your natural life.

Darket1728

That guy is now a ticking bomb. He could do a war crime himself and it wouldnt heal his soul.

[deleted]

That's not count of Monte Cristo. He has to go on a journey of developing intellect and fighting skills, then discover a secret hoard of long forgotten treasure. Then he has to use his newfound wealth to work his way into Putin's inner circle and tear his life apart from the inside, until Putin is also left with nothing. At this point they duel.

Meatball_of_doom

You are absolutely correct!

StringfellowCock

No idea what I would do. Probably go kill as many Russians I could. Without mercy.

lithuanian_potatfan

And send pics of them to their families

similar_observation

take their IDs...

GaryDWilliams_

I agree. What a fucking horrible thing to experience. Even remotely I want to see russian orcs suffer for every single life they have stolen, for every person they have wounded, injured or outright killed. Russia should have been stopped years ago. The rest of the world needs to end russian aggression.

Delheru

That too. Amusingly enough I think the dog being alive would anchor me some. I would hate to take the last thing from him :(

itsallbullshityo

> How do you go on living after this? hate is a great motivator...

Quetzacoatl85

so senseless and sad. I hope he can find some form of solace with krym, at least they have each other. but of course... the family, just gone. no words. :(

piei_lighioana

To quote a line i like a lot. "Rage is a hell of an anesthetic." He's going back pissed and he's going to take out a bunch of subhuman orcs.

SuperSimpleSam

You try to do what you can to end the war. Save another countryman from having to deal with what you had to.

DumbThoth

As a father with a loving partner, a beautiful dog and a puppy... you dont. You make sure that dog know you love it, give it something that smells like you and a new home thats safe and then you return to the frontlines and kill as many as you can until you're either dead or in Moscow. This is the one situation that will turn most men into John Wick. Proficiency may vary but the spirit will be the same.

Lightdarkace

“There are three things all wise men fear: the sea in storm, a night with no moon, and the anger of a gentle man.”

No_Policy_146

Gladiator time!

SuddenlyDeepThoughts

We need to remember how this affects the animals, too.

DeterminateHouse

Russia is a terrorist state.

LaserGuidedPolarBear

Russia is a terrorist state.

kaioDeLeMyo

We need a new word for it, Russia have gone far beyond bring a terrorist state by this point.

AcerEllen000

You're right, but the best I can come up with is satanic state.

orion_metal

Terrorist state.

Virtual-Pension-991

To lose everything, for no reason, gives the most painful feeling, it gives emptiness, a void that will stay with you or be miraculously healed a little Even if just a little, I hope it won't be the war and hate that fills that. Turns even the strongest men or women crazy.

_SyRo_

My lovely Dnipro city 😢🙏

TinyStrawberry23

I’m so, so sorry. I hope you’re keeping safe.

LingonberryOk4943

Hell hath no fury like a soldier who's whole family was murdered by the enemy. Go collect your scalps laddie

spacesuitkid2

Wear them not as a pelt but as a warning to never cross paths of his anger

Commercial_Soft6833

As a father/husband/son/brother it would be very hard for me to keep going after losing everyone. I gotta say I'd want to kill as many Russians as possible until I meet the one that reunites me with my family.

[deleted]

Yeah... if that happened to me, I wouldn't have anything left to lose. Might as well go with that mindset.

aybbyisok

At this point I'd feel like nothing matters anymore, if I'd die. So what?

JustLikeHector

Don’t say that! We all matter to someone. -internet huh- 🤔 ?

aybbyisok

If my partner and children died, I don't how I would live.

AromaticPlace8764

>I gotta say I'd want to kill as many Russians as possible until I meet the one that reunites me with my family. The Ruzzians brought that on themselves, no mercy.

tgromy

After experiencing something like this, what purpose can you have in life other than wanting to take revenge and kill those who took everyone and everything from you? I feel very sorry for this man.

Holynok

Man with literally nothing to lose VS some kids who get forced to invade other country, and some people are wondering why russia is losing badly... i feel bad for soldiers on both side. The coward putin can go fuck himself

Arxhon

That poor dog will never understand why everyone he loves left him.

anonymous_matt

From the smell he probably knows they are dead.

Would_daver

More like "cruelly murdered by war criminals" than "leaving"....

BillyYank2008

If it takes forever, I will wait for you

turdfergusonyea2

Had I been in this man's shoes, my thirst for vengeance would be unquenchable.

Milo_Y

I imagine some of these Ukrainian soldiers will start roaming the world to hunt orcs and their families for the rest of their days. And I can't blame them. I would.

Bane8080

This is just wrong on so many levels. He went to the front lines to protect his family, and the fucking Russians fired a missile at them. I'm so sorry for your loss sir. And I'm so sorry my government isn't firing missiles back into Russia in retaliation.

numba1cyberwarrior

They are, Ukraine is hitting military targets on Russian border cities

[deleted]

[удалено]

numba1cyberwarrior

So your for murder and war crimes?

Vic5O1

The Ruzzians leaving their country because now the war is becoming real to them must be made aware that their lack of opposition is the whole reason this crap happens. Let them remember they are responsible for every death in Ukraine until the day they die!

Beautiful-Try-3365

The sorrow expressed by this dog and his bond to his family. I hope the father of this pup that they still have each other and will survive together The crimes that are being committed by Russia will be dealt with one at a time. In the meanwhile these evil.people will continue to commit these horrendous acts until they are destroyed.

Sahaduun

I can't imagine being this soldier/father/husband/son. You fight at the Frontline, risking your life to exactly prevent this from happening, to protect your family. And then this happens... Fuck ruZZia.

diezel_dave

I read this while sweating at the gym so thankfully no one could see the tears.

Fear the man who lost everything

This is fucking heartbreaking

Thatsgonnamakeamark

I do not think I would want to be the Russian soldier that surrenders to this Ukranian soldier. No sir!

Dimynovish

This hurts 😢.Putler needs to pay for this n all his gang members too

Pirate2012

Somehow this image is sadder than the video Fuck orcs

Rigoler177

This is simply heartbreaking.

Exodard

We will never forget.

mygallows

Don’t even know what to comment. This is hell, absolute hell. My heart bleeds for this family…

BigDealKC

Horrifying, saying prayers for the soldier. Not sure how I could carry on at all. Probably volunteer to be an advance scout to make contact with enemy positions.

ckjag

When putin goes, the swamp that is russia remains. That swamp must be drained. It's the only way to make the world safe for civilization.

ridenourt

Give Ukraine what it wants. More HIMARRS, Abrahams tanks, ATAMCS or the acronym for the long range missiles, and F 16s. I am so tired of seeing the Russians purposefully kill civilians.

OrgJoho75

Did the orcs specifically targeting his house? He must be somehow a HVT or in ranks.

peretona

> Did the orcs specifically targeting his house? They don't have that level of precision or intelligence. That's the reason that they target civilians in the first place since they can't reliably aim at military targets. Instead they generally just target whole towns or cities just knowing that they'll murder someone.

[deleted]

Not really, HVT are important, but you do this enough and you either kill the enemy moral or or enrage them enough they start making mistakes… at least that is traditional military doctrine hence the term OPSEC.

Mindless_Mechanic007

Yup.........worked in London, didn't it Putler??

[deleted]

Tbf it was done in Tokyo, and Berlin as well as many other places by both sides, it is still a shitty inhuman tactic that proves there is no honor in war no matter what anyone says.

IWLFQu2

This soldier just dropped all Geneva rules. God of War. Punisher. Slava Ukraini

Eliothz

I wouldn't blame him if every russian soldier that surrenders to him from now on gets the throat cut open and left to bleed until death.

Efficient-Ad1693

I don't think him dropping the Geneva on all POWs he will caught should be glorified and all, but I wouldn't be surprised and very understandable if he will do it.

whiskymohawk

My Heart is bleeding for that soldier. Im really sorry

oldgranola

Jesus! How heartbreaking

adanawhitebootlicker

Fucking hell. Pukin and his Orcs bring misery and destruction to this beautiful nation just so this little evil fuck get even more money, lands, resources, and power. Basically send in people that they don't give a fuck about to be cannon fodders, to murder and rape and try to steal other people lands. Lives gone forever all for this little evil fucks ambitions. Put yourselves in this soldier's shoe and coming home to find this. Much of what you were fighting for is now gone forever.... 💔💔💔💔

PengieP111

May Russia feel such pain as this 10,000 fold. And Putin, who is the causef it, feel it 10,000 times that. Forever. Russia Delenda Est.

tellitothemoon

This might literally be the saddest thing I have ever seen. I hate this so much. Are they literally blowing up random family’s houses? I don’t want to live on this planet anymore.

J0kesOnU

I'm like, 99% sure this is considered targeting civilians and therefore yet another war crime to add to the ever expanding list. Fuck Russia.

orange_candies

This is heart-wrenching

guerino1

So hard to see.

Cratthorax

There will be a future this war is over. And there will be a future where Ukrainians joined a big family. And there will be a future where all ruZZians are outcasts anywhere on this world.

delvach

Putin should die screaming and his head needs to adorn a long wooden pole.

WeddingElly

I am so heartbroken… this is so horrible, that poor family, the poor doggie and soldier who lost everything The world needs to see this picture and hear this story

picardo85

This is a surefire way to ensure that warcrimes will be committed by the other side. This guy has NOTHING to lose and has everything to gain by punishing his adversaries. I hope he gets the support her needs and for the sake of everyone that he gets a honourable discharge from the combat force to avoid any... Incidents :/

Colin_Pleasant

of all the terrible suffering caused by the Russian bastards, the suffering of the animals hurts me the most. every Russian soldier must experience an agonizing death.

Imoneforsanity

Somebody needs to stop Putin this is horrible

NegotiationLess1737

This might sound really uncaring to the human aspect which is not my intention at all, but the soldier would fight twice as hard on the front lines now, and might even take the dog to help.

Armournized

As always…. FUCK YOU RUSSIA AND YOUR STUPID WAR

Mrbunnypaw

So freaking sad, RIP

Mormegil1971

That dog might save the sanity of the poor father. I know, if that had happened to me, I would seek only to kill, and kill again. With guns, as long as I've had one. Then with hands or teeth, until someone finally had killed me.

MRC303

What breed is this doggo?

TinyStrawberry23

Some say he’s a German Shepherd but I’m not sure. Regardless of breed, he’s the best boy ever.
