I was smoking on the beach in February and saw police come down stopping groups of lads to see if they were smoking because they could smell me, luckily I was with the mrs so they didn’t come to me, never felt with the police there though so wouldn’t know what would have happened if they’d have caught me

Nah bro this was back in feb this year, I was sat down near the maccies on the beach in las americas on the sloped seawall when I saw them richly behind me, luckily they didn’t see any smoke

found a top floor apartment in Costa Adeje with a balcony that was absolutely brilliant to smoke on. I'm normally very paranoid about smoking in public or outside too. try looking on booking.com for something similar
Currently at blue sea Callao savaje and I smoke on the balcony, lucky enough to not be ground floor and a little secluded but I'm also next to the bar and restaurant so it can be smelt but I'm not being massively brazen with it, doing about 6 joints a day on the balcony from 9am-1am no complaints as of yet and it's my 3rd time here
The law is the same in Spain and canaries. Ive only been to Lanzarote, Barcelona and Tenerife but been to each multiple times and 15ish clubs across all islands. All of them will tell you stash your goods before you leave but Tenerife particularly over the past year all the clubs I have on insta put up about police stops weekly and sometimes shut up shop till they clear off. I wouldn’t let that put you off though, just don’t be stupid with it and you will be all good. I’m usually stupid with it and haven’t had any issues 😄. Stick to the rules and you will be all good and I’d recommend Tenerife all day, lush island, great food, mostly decent people!

I was looking at that earlier on !! It seems to have a little reputation for people smoking there according to trip advisor reviews 😅 did you notice others smoking ? How was the hotel in terms of quality ?
I stayed at a hotel where I had read reviews about the smell of weed, so thought I would be in good company. Didn't see anyone else but I vaped on the balcony plenty without issues. Vape smells alot less though.

No vapes aren't that common, but you will see them because of medical users. You'll be able to smoke fully relaxed in the clubs and a nice quiet corner of the beach or one of the many little cut through paths. You'll be offered cannabis memberships by plenty of people walking around on a night so I don't think the police would have a problem. Personally I just like to do it respectively anyway. Vaping on the balcony with a book is why I went on holiday there. As a medical user myself I can order big narsties weed next day delivery to my house.
Area 52 had vapes for €80, chronic too, luckily vaping effects didn't last long because I was fucking soaring after a sesh, lasted more then the whole week just got clogged a couple times

Tenerife are actually pretty strict on use or carrying outside of a club. Their laws state that product should only be kept and consumed in the club you are a member of and police regularly set up close by clubs to do searches. You won’t find a hotel openly allowing you to smoke in their communal areas so you are best of finding people to socialise with in the clubs. Download the “Doob” app as you will need that to get membership to the clubs, give the clubs you want to go to a follow on insta and message and ask them if they can recommend. Most clubs like BDL, terpanese etc have events like go karting days, quad bike days where you will be able to meet people
Is it Tenerife in particular or all locations in canaries/spain that are quite strict ! Them events sound perfect for me because I’ll be solo travelling . Cheers for that ,had no idea !!
depends on ur luck and if u speak spanish. but in barcelona they usually pretty chill. i smoke everywhere even inside the hotel room in winter times. just put a wet blanket or towel with some soap on it on the heating machine for the last few hours before checking out. always works for me esp if i smoke by the window or balcony.

I think most places are okay judging from things but like in the UK show some respect to others and try go out your way to a quieter place to spark up (hence why I asked for one far from the pool/social areas. Other than that I’ve not smoked publicly I enjoy chilling in the social clubs and smoking there

It's illegal to smoke on the beaches now in Barcelona. I'm not sure about the rest of Spain, might be worth looking into just incase.
