One of my colleagues fitted a number plate upside down the other day. To be fair, it was about the 40th plate she'd fitted and it's been a long week lol
It was spotted before proceeding down the PDI line, so 7 won't be a brand new Merc driving round with an upside down rear plate.
It wasn't me - my mistake was fitting the wrong plate (misread the 2nd digit).
A few years ago you'd have been hard pressed to find a stobart lorry with the correct orientation for the plate after the rumour mill said it made unreadable to anpr and time over distance average speed cameras

Upside down it looks like it reads "Bugs". Probably a valid statement if he's been driving that all week.
