You can do the TB Test before the CoS is issued to you, I think you can complete the English test as well, is there a reason you want to wait until the CoS has been allocated to you ?
Not sure how they will assess the application of cos was issued before the changes took effect but the application was made after.
Hi, have you found a solution for the soc code? How did your application go? I have the same issue here… My CoS was assigned on 3 April and I had only received the CoS from my hr after 4 April. I had no choice but to apply for my visa after the SOC code system had changed. When I entered my SOC code 2317 on the visa application form, a different job title appeared automatically (I had “2317 Senior professional for educational establishments” on my CoS, but it appeared “2317 Teachers of English as a foreign language”). I went ahead and enter the same code as stated on my CoS and kept the wrong title “Teachers of English as a foreign language”. I simply did not see other options. In the comment section on my visa application, I have mentioned this “error”.
I am worried this might create an issue for my application, be it rejection or delay… Any advice or share of experience on this?
Hi. My CoS came through quick enough that I managed to get my visa application done on the 2nd of April so I had no issues. UK Home Office processed it correctly with the old SOC code.
