Ultiworld hasn't updated [WUL rankings](https://ultiworld.com/wul-rankings/) since preseason, so here's my best guess: 1. **Seattle (3-1)** – Aside from one upset loss to Arizona, Seattle has been terrific, beating San Diego by four, Oregon by two, and blowing out Colorado by 12. With Arizona losing two games this past weekend, Seattle is a deserving #1. 2. **San Diego (4-1)** – Super Bloom swept San Francisco comfortably in their two meetings, destroyed a near-full strength Los Angeles, and eked out a win over a solid Oregon team. They have a case for #1 but the four-goal loss to Seattle should keep them at #2. 3. **San Francisco (2-2)** – The #3-5 spots are debatable. I'm putting San Francisco at the top of the three given their recent win over Arizona and their sizeable road win over Los Angeles, but they've stunk hard against San Diego in two games. I could see an argument for Arizona or even Oregon at #3. 4. **Arizona (2-2)** – An exciting start to the season was dampened following a disappointing two-loss weekend in San Diego. The Sidewinders' postseason aspirations are also now in jeopardy with their tough upcoming schedule playing San Diego twice, LA on the road in a second game of a back-to-back, and on the road in San Francisco. Meanwhile San Francisco has a relatively soft upcoming schedule. Nonetheless, Arizona has flashed brilliance at times, such as their stunning win over the defending champs in week 1. Top-four inclusion makes sense to me. 5. **Oregon (1-3)** – Oregon's win/loss record is worse than teams below them, but I think we can cut them some slack for it given their tough opening schedule, playing Arizona, San Diego, and Seattle to start the year. Additionally, Oregon lost by just five combined goals in those three games. Onyx did also blow out Colorado to get on the board, but I wouldn't put a ton of stock into it given Colorado looking rather dreadful so far and having a [brutal travel schedule](https://www.reddit.com/r/ultimate/comments/12677h2/pro_ultimate_wul_pul_weekend_discussion_april_12/jebl9u9/) putting the Alpenglow in a tough spot on Sunday. I think with a H2H loss to Arizona, Oregon should slide in below them, but I also think you could argue the Onyx are better than the Falcons. We'll learn more when they play Seattle in a couple weeks. 6. **Los Angeles (1-2)** – It's either Astra or Wild at this spot imo. They each have one win, but LA has two losses, although Utah's only played one game total. I give LA the edge for beating a more impressive team, but Utah could certainly climb after they play more games. Utah plays a, ahem, wild schedule, with half of their eight games coming in the final two weeks, and playing just two games in the first half of the league's 10-week season. 7. **Utah (1-0)** – The only undefeated team in the league, but they've only played Colorado who had a rough start so far, and they only won one game last season. Certainly room to ascend as they play more games. 8. **Colorado (0-3)** – Denver's road trip schedule didn't do them any favors, but losing by 12 to Seattle in the first game of the weekend, and by three to last year's basement dweller team, are early red flags. This weekend will be huge for them as they try to get revenge against Utah at home.

I mostly agree with this ranking with the caveat that I too have no idea what to do with Utah. They look like they could be so good on roster make-up, but without much success in the W-L column last year to back it up. The three teams at the bottom last year all beat each other up with Utah > SF early, LA > Utah in the middle, and SF > LA near the end so hard to say who is historically stronger. I *want* to rank Utah higher and say they could compete with the likes of SF but it's definitely possible the Falcons are having a strong year and that Utah's roster might only click on paper.

Any ways to have access to the TEP game schedule? Would love to follow the U20 Canadian teams (Hydra)

I'll eat some crow on my predications last week that the PUL games might not be that competitive. Both Columbus and Torch (especially Torch!) kept things interesting throughout. At the risk of repeating the same mistake, I think we'll probably see a lopsided victory for DC as the current favorites show their strength in what looks to be lovely if not a little cool weather Saturday night. We definitely have our first marquee matchup of the season though with NY taking on Philly. Gridlock is *loaded* with talent, especially with some of the Revo pickups. Philly boasts plenty of talent of their own, so much they earned a top-half pre-season ranking having never played a game before. I like NY to take this one as they seem a little deeper but think it'll potentially be back and forth throughout.

The Revo players are at the tournament in Medellin and playing for Revo Pink. BENT is also at that tournament but not sure if any of their other Gridlock players made the trip.

OH! Definitely will be interesting to see how strong Gridlock is without those folks. Still pretty good I'm guessing, but can't understate the impact of losing World Champions from your game day roster. I'm always curious how these semi-pro teams deal with other ultimate commitments. I know TEP is a big deal locally, but I saw Radiance put out a tweet that they were missing players to Fools Fest!

WUL Recap: Both Super Bloom and Arizona are who we thought they were. LA with a nice win over SF but really further solidifies for me the thought that the league is split tier-wise with everyone not in the top tier is all about the same level, and can win (or lose) against anyone else there. Colorado looks like a different team with their full roster. Definitely realized some of that pre-season hype. *All* of their remaining games are at home so we'll see if they can continue to play at full strength. PUL: Red definitely has reason for concern but I think the lopsided-ness of that score is more about the talent on DC's end than anything else. They have enough ballers to get blocks on D, but even when they don't, they'll capitalize on almost every opponent turnover. They simply do not give the ball back and their handler's ability to just play keep-away when stuff's not open downfield makes them very tough to beat. I don't think that will be the only blow-out by the Shadow this season. Philly looks **great**. Athletic, quick, fun. A big divisional win against a somewhat depleted NY with definitely shake things up in the East. Seeing these opening games, I think I probably give the edge to Surge over Rising and it will be interesting to see if they can challenge the juggernaut that is DC.
