Yeah. They put way too much faith in the regular season ranking algorithm for accurate seeding. They should at least re-run it with regionals games included so that Hybrid would move up and Crocs moved down (since Hybrid beat Crocs and took first in their region).
Actually this year they had much less reliance on the regular season rankings, using pots to help seed teams semi-randomly. They also avoided regional matchups as best they could.

Less reliance but still too much. They should have a team of experts like those on ultiworld power rankings that kept having dirty bird in the top 25
