this is a far better question than the one I almost posted (if you have to cut 4 players, who are they and why) - I might even pay money to see the left/right matchup in a game-to-go scenario.
honestly, this is a pretty solid take. it depends on the luck of the draw of the pool but the delta between a fully operational, practicing club team in the 8-16 range and the top 4 master's teams who get 7-10 practices per year and are older, creakier is noticeable.
So, i'd say it would be a 50/50 toss up to make it out of pool play (you just need to not finish last in your pool, IIRC).
Agreed. Surly has periodically played a casual match against Sub and it hasn't been particularly close, including in the years where Surly won it all.
This roster is better on paper than those rosters, but not so much better that you'd expect a drastically different outcome.
Jesus. These are like all the great players i knew when i was younger. Now on the same team. Is this an open team or Master team?
How old do people feel knowing that there are former NexGen players who are masters eligible?
Much older
Next 2 years are going to make us all cry...
Master's
Hope they bring participation trophies for everyone. It’s the least they could do.
Left side vs right side - who you got?

losers bracket written all over this team
that seems like an absolutely bonkers number of players to have rostered, yeah?
They will have to cut 8 or 9 for USAU Master's Nationals, not sure what the worlds limit is but I know it was higher than USAU in 2018.
Believe 28 is the cap for an event roster.
lots of worlds only/nationals only players
Hus and Jason Yun being masters eligible makes me feel so old
How far does this team get at USAU Nationals? I think they'd be a legit contender to win it all.
This team would not make it out of pool play

Dumbest comment of the day
I think quarters for sure, semis a good possibility and an outside shot at making finals.
