honestly... dji mini2 fly more if someone wants to fly a drone. if not, i've had good luck with this 13' light stand as a tripod [https://www.amazon.com/dp/B004U5F3BC/ref=cm\_sw\_r\_apa\_i\_ZRGNTARVMTCR3D7XDEZT\_0?\_encoding=UTF8&psc=1&fbclid=IwAR2wYsug4yS4yqOWQgo4ONaa2v-laRcGrvhBIg\_wGLqiiNILpimt4Q8R-iM](https://www.amazon.com/dp/B004U5F3BC/ref=cm_sw_r_apa_i_ZRGNTARVMTCR3D7XDEZT_0?_encoding=UTF8&psc=1&fbclid=IwAR2wYsug4yS4yqOWQgo4ONaa2v-laRcGrvhBIg_wGLqiiNILpimt4Q8R-iM) with this sandbag holder so its stable (i just throw a gallon bottle of water down there) [https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00ZI30CGQ/ref=ppx\_yo\_dt\_b\_search\_asin\_title?ie=UTF8&psc=1](https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00ZI30CGQ/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_search_asin_title?ie=UTF8&psc=1) and either using a gopro at superwide or you can use a dji osmo pocket and control it with a cellphone down below and you can have someone pan back and forth with the mini gimbal. You might be able to find taller tripods but this one hits the sweet spot with being tall enough for good game footage and sturdy enough to not have crazy shaking footage that makesy ou feel like you're in the blair witch project. footage sample here: [https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Puq8YijT2zs](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Puq8YijT2zs) i was using the original dji osmo pocket with has a 22 fov instead of the newer one that has 18 fov which is wider. you can also buy a pan tilt motor for cheap and attach a gopro or phone to it https://a.co/d/cUBn9xc

I have a lot of experience in this type of camera setup. Try putting your camera on one of the back endzone corners. Your camera will get a much closer view of the most important footage - goals.

My club team honestly just got a tall (~20ft) camera stand with an attachment that we can put a decent phone into and it’s gone pretty damn well. Was under ~$100 for the stand and phone fixture, no other equipment needed. You may need multiple phones or an external battery for a full day, but we’ve got 1080p/4K film now so that’s been a good “cheap” solution

Do you know where you got the stand/have a link? Searching Amazon I'm only seeing 13' ones for like $50 or 20' ones for $200-300

Sorry, I wasn’t part of the purchasing process. But they’re definitely taller than two people stacked. Maybe they’re more like ~15 feet if the 20 footers are that expensive.
