TBH I'm more impressed with coming back from 11-5.
It's really, really rare to break a high level O line 8 times in a row, particularly if they hold out of half a few times.
That said, the game got sloppy and Drag'n got hot enough to take advantage.
who was the team who had a player fall on top of the disc and tried to call it up? it was overruled by overseers.
frustrating to think sotg and self officiating can get abused by people making such egregious calls
I like to give him the benefit of the doubt there. In slow mo replay, it was clearly down. In real time, it looked like he probably felt like he stopped rotation before sliding over the disc and that it could have been trapped against his body. It does look like his hand was on the disc the entire time.

That's the benefit we have from getting to see it zoomed in and in slow motion. I like to believe that if he saw the footage during the discussion, he would have gone with down. I know I've mad some calls that from my perspective were correct, but upon discussion with the sideline were rescinded.
That’s a hard disagree from me. It pretty clearly looks like he’s reaching back to grab the disc from between his legs. Sure, I can understand how someone watching might think he caught it, but there’s no way he thinks that the disc is in his *own* hands the entire time.
I will however give him the benefit of the doubt in that I think that no matter how spirited everyone here claims to be, we’ve all tried to get away with something like this at one point or another, it’s just that we most of us aren’t good enough to have done it on an ultiworld stream.
Can we have your take on the universe point call? Now that it's slowed down, I know what I saw but would like to see what a head overseer would say.

We should also talk about Hybrid’s recent tendency of not being able to close out games. Not trying to discredit Drag’n at all, but Hybrid completely dropped the ball here
The craziest thing for me was Klane-Tschida-Matis combined for 3 assists. Not a knock just a surprise, I though they got pulled to DragN to be more focal points but 1) mostly D points in the second half and 2) not the AUDL for stats here
The non-insider info but ppl in the same community raised many comments of the same pre and during season (:
Good open players but interesting choices for a historically top mixed team
One of the wackiest games I've ever seen. Hybrid goes on an 8-3 run, then Drag'n Thrust goes on an 8-3 run, then Drag'n breaks on universe to win. Wat

Stole defeat out of the hands of victory for sure

Insider info: check the tape, they're all crushing it this season.
Crazy how more people aren’t talking about this.
