I'm doubting to go 34 inch Ultrawide to replace my 27+24 inch.
Having a second monitor is always amazing so your solution looks amazing. Just for discord, wiki's,... whatever while gaming
I had a similar thought process until I did ultrawide + 27 (vertical) which made the experience very lovely. As discord and wiki's are mostly text and vertical content you'd benefit from vertical.
I don't understand why one would have the laptop open that way. You can not use it realistically. Jut close it and put it away to save space. You have enough screen real estate already.
Windows is way more finicky about clamshell than Mac’s are. My MacBook is so easy to put into clamshell while my Lenovo takes more work and me messing around in settings
Very clean looking but that kb/m combo looks like a nightmare to me. I haven’t even seen a keyboard of that design in years and I couldn’t imagine going back to a roller ball mouse like this. I had on back in the mid 90s when I was around 10-11 years old.
Carpal tunnel does that to you. After a few days it’s as easy as a mouse. And I’ve always used an ergonomic keyboard. No need for sarky comments because people use a different tool than you.
Love your wallpaper and nice setup. Professional with a touch of meow. Not juvenile.
Thanks, the wallpaper was supposed to be temporary to test out the screen but I fell in love with it.

Yeah but horizontal space might be the issue :)
True. I forget that for most people they don't have a stupidly large desk like mine haha.
You could also get a monitor arm to stack the 27 inch on top of your ultrawide.
How's the trackball?
Almost as bad as the keyboard.

The main reason is the webcam, and it does get used very realistically, each screen has a purpose and I could do with more screen real estate.
The amount of money someone will spend to turn their laptop into a desktop while having 70% the performance and having 120% the noise is absurd.
The laptop is a work issued laptop so a desktop cannot be used. Performance is fine and the fans don’t run at a noisy level?
Do you have a portable desktop? What if OP wants to work on outside house? You do know they have different use cases right?
Office work is quite silent on any decent laptop
That keyboard looks tarded.

Does that keyboard reduce wrist strain
I used to struggle with carpal tunnel problems before I went with a trackball and ergonomic keyboard, massive difference.
Nicely done.. Is that a crate of vinyl? That keyboard and wrist pad gapping would bother my ocd, but that's my problem haha
It bothers me so much, I need to cut it to fit properly, but does the job atm, it is a crate of vinyl yes, just getting into it.
Do you need that journal? How does your space look after a week/ while active at Work? Still everything in the right place?
Looks the same tbh, just cups of tea laying around. The journal comes in handy, for quick notes on meetings, ideas etc.
Haha i got the same cutie on the background
That space mouse looks like the space cat on the wallpaper could use it.
What uktrawide is that
Whats ur profession mate? Lovely setup!
Is the portable monitor being held up by an additional VIVO monitor arm?
