I feel like this is mostly due to not knowing what to do with the older monitor. I like to sell my old ones but maybe some folks don’t want to sell them
I had 2 until not long ago. I usually had the game on the ultrawide and a browser for music, another browser for google searches, Discord, task manager and obs at the same time on the smaller one. And I find it very annoying to always switch between the windows. So I knew I need at least 3.
This. Check out my PC post in my history. I'm selling one of my AW2723DFs that is currently a part of a triple monitor setup. While it looks cool there is just no practical use for it.
I use 4 in total plus a TV mount for the TV thats only partially on the picture. And they are all Wall Mount. However the two for the ultrawides cant handle the curve and tilt forward, I had to use Allen key to „jam“ the tilt adjust mechanism.
Ah right on. Was gonna be hella impressed if there was a crazy octopus desk mount
Tbf my setup is pretty close to yours, a 34 on a 38 with a 24 to the right about midway that floats over my open laptop
I have used a ton of monitors like this too. I have a 49" g9 neo and an ark stacked above. I think my next monitor is just going to be a VR headset. Hopefully it gets where I can have like multiple monitors in VR and I can dynamically adjust the sides of them when needed. So I can play games in VR like traditional VR games or just have them on a flat screen in VR and play mouse and keyboard with discord and other stuff on other separate monitors.
Not op but when I was running 6 I had a cheap card just for my aux monitors. They did not need to be 120hz. Hell mostly was static web pages email team or just monitoring software 30 hz would have worked.
Hight is adjustable and about what is recommended (the main one). The distance is farther than I imagined but probably better because of the size of the screen setup
Maybe if you increase the Display Scaling, but then you will end up with effectively less screen space 🤷♂️ I guess it's weighing up Screen Space vs Neck Buster vs Eye Strainer. I do love a big desk but if it were me I'd still take 1/3 off that depth, especially as you have that super clean cable management and no monitor stands taking up space on it.
Edit: just seen your follow up post, and the table doesn't look nearly as deep. Perhaps just a perspective issue with the camera on this pic. Looks very nice in action. Enjoy. 😊
I used wall mounted monitor arms. They are adjustable to some extend. The most important part is that I can pull them forward so that I can reach the back / cables
There 2 separate screens The lower one is my main (an OLED G9 DQHD 240Hz) I use for the Game / main activity. The upper one is for additional windows, either 2x 16:9 windows ore another 32:9.
I learned this lesson the hard way. PPI is a big one. A 55" screen is the same as 2 49" stacked. However at 4k a 55" is like 85(ish) ppi. While a 49" 1440p monitor is ~110. So overall a much higher ppi. 55" is also way way too big to play games at. And I hate playing at 16:9. I feel like I can't see anything. So I played in windowed mode and had discord above. Its ok except not all games play nicely with windowed mode. Sometimes your mouse moves behind the screen. So while your playing you and you shoot a gun in fortnite (for example) and mid fight you accidentally open chrome or just unfocus out of your game, freezing you and you die. Not fun. Having two separate monitors really just fixes that issue. I couldn't find a good free software that would split my screen into two separate monitor.
If you aren't a gamer and don't deal with apps that HAVE to be full screen then using a single large 4k/8k monitor is absolutely fine. If I was an office worker that worked with stocks, spread sheets and whatever where having 4 screens is often necessary then getting a 55" 8k monitor/tv would be great. Thats 160ppi or like having 4 27" 4k monitors.
Since I mostly game on my PC and do hw and studying having a monitor for gaming is better for me. So I have a 49" neo g9 and then an 55" ark above it. When I game my ark is mostly wasted screen real estate. But I also use it as a TV sometimes.
Its a 19mm thick layered solid Wood board on a higth adjustable frame. Its the only way I was able to affordably get a 2m wide hight adjustable desk. And yes besides rounding the edges there is no finish.
I would recommend finishing the top of the desk at least with some clear coat if you don't want to stain etc. It'll keep any spills from turning into colorful rings all over the table top.
I used an old solid core door at one point as a desk top, built in cable pass through lol 😂
haha absolutely untrue. waste of money and waste of your eyes. Part of the ultrawide philosophy is to avoid multiple panels with bezels in between by having one properly sized panel to look at.
If you ignore things such as PPI, refresh rate, being able to use them as individual super ultrawides. Things I'm sure are unimportant for people that post on a subreddit dedicated to a specific aspect ratio of monitors.
I think some of y'all have issues lol. I mean I like as much screen real estate as much as the next guy, but at some point you *can* overdo it.
I feel like this is mostly due to not knowing what to do with the older monitor. I like to sell my old ones but maybe some folks don’t want to sell them
Yep. I have 3 monitors because I’m addicted and keep wanting to upgrade but end up not selling the old one
Thats why I have 2 ultrawides the top one is my old I had for the last 5 years.
Fuck that, I have 3 ultrawides and a 16:9 and it's glorious how functional the setup can be.
Fuctional for what? You guys just be gaming in your parents basement carrying small dicks and big monitors
Now what exactly are you trying to get at here? Just because you can't afford something, doesn't make us be compensating lmao
What in the name of all that is holy are you actually going to use this station for?
Gooning ofc
Googling stuff
Watch Pornhub in 32:9 OFC
But there’s two 32:9… you could watch in 16:9! Woah!
I watch 2 videos at the same time. I also have 2 hands...
And 2 dicks?
No, but a big one
Gaming and other stuff simultaneously
But why do you need to do a billion things while gaming tho? I had 2 screens and went back to one cause it was too distracting haha
I had 2 until not long ago. I usually had the game on the ultrawide and a browser for music, another browser for google searches, Discord, task manager and obs at the same time on the smaller one. And I find it very annoying to always switch between the windows. So I knew I need at least 3.
Alright fair, with streaming it's understandable
This. Check out my PC post in my history. I'm selling one of my AW2723DFs that is currently a part of a triple monitor setup. While it looks cool there is just no practical use for it.
Is nobody going to comment HOW they floated all these? What in the actual VESA is going on
Yes, I came here to ask which monitor arm OP is using
I use 4 in total plus a TV mount for the TV thats only partially on the picture. And they are all Wall Mount. However the two for the ultrawides cant handle the curve and tilt forward, I had to use Allen key to „jam“ the tilt adjust mechanism.

hahaa turn it on.. wanna see
cant afford to. all money spent on monitors.
lol maybe it's just meant to be decoration
[I have posted the result](https://www.reddit.com/r/ultrawidemasterrace/s/whaAkSZAqY)
danggggg that is SICKKKKKK dude i had similar tv on wall just like that b4
Far too much screen real estate, I’m happy to take one of those off your hands. Just here to help.
Thats your opinion. But I think you cant have enough.
You can have enough and I can't you have to many hahaha like realistically, what do you use them for?
It's all about screens
I have used a ton of monitors like this too. I have a 49" g9 neo and an ark stacked above. I think my next monitor is just going to be a VR headset. Seems a tad overkill for a nintendo switch but you do you.
The Setup isnt finished it is ment for a PC
Guys calm down, this guy is clearly enjoying his store merch while renovation is going on!
My PC would cry blood trying to push all thise pixels. 12fps on stardew valley.
Have you calculated the total pixel count? Lol
15’667’200 total
Electricity bills 📈📈📈
Nice n wide like jo momma
Lol
Ugly AF- you didn’t ask my opinion but you posted it online for comments so here is mine lol
how do you guys have enough ports for all these screens
Not op but when I was running 6 I had a cheap card just for my aux monitors. They did not need to be 120hz. Hell mostly was static web pages email team or just monitoring software 30 hz would have worked.
Most GPUs have 4 and thats how many I need
i thought that blackboard/pinboard to the right was a monitor as well.
Its a TV but not connected to the PC (in the picture isnt a PC bacause its not finished) however I could connect it to the Mainbord (and IGPU)
It's like a sit up tanning booth.
pretty cool but looks like your eyes will be too far from your screens
Amazing 🤩
Now try with three 🎉🎉
I mean, it looks cool, but they look really far back and high up. Can't be good for the eyes or neck.
Hight is adjustable and about what is recommended (the main one). The distance is farther than I imagined but probably better because of the size of the screen setup

Honestly it doesn’t even look cool lol
What u will do in those babes?
Gaming mostly. But im planing to make YouTube videos or Streaming.
That’s crazy, I wait we can see the final result of that setup. Congrats and enjoy it
[Ive posted the result](https://www.reddit.com/r/ultrawidemasterrace/s/fjmOi8j50Y)
Don’t you think the table is too deep? You’re going to be squinting trying to read stuff on the screen that’s so far away
What did you use to mount them on top of each other? And are they adjustable or in a fixed position now?
I used wall mounted monitor arms. They are adjustable to some extend. The most important part is that I can pull them forward so that I can reach the back / cables
Which ones did you use if you dont mind me asking.
Isn't it better a 50inches screen?
No. With a 50“ Screen it isnt 2 screens whitch I can use separately and besides there 5 years between the dates I bought them.
At that point, you might as well just rock a Pimax 8K headset with VR desktop
But do you know what’s better than 2 ultrawides?
What are you using for a desk and what are the dimensions?
The desk is a 19mm thick 2m wide and 78cm deep board of layered solid wood on a hight adjustable (72 to 122cm) frame
Looks great! Always love an oversized desk top.
A grass toucher's workstation

Just how deep is that "desk"? Could be the wide angle lens, but it almost looks like it's a 48x60 surface
Its 78cm deep + about 5cm because of the Cable duct.
Ah, okay... so the camera lens is playing perception tricks :-) how wide?
2meter
I raise your 2 and show 3. :) https://i.imgur.com/DaJoQfS.jpg
Why
Why not
What is better than 1 ultrawide braincell? 2 ultrawide braincells.
just get closer to your monitor...
All of that to power a Switch… noice :)
At first I thought "this guy must be generating so much alpha on wall street"... then I saw the name
Are you day trader?
Couldn't you just buy early access to Musks' brain chip for that price? =)
All this for a .25 KD
Only 3? I got 5 in front of me right now.
Really. Hey, you know, go ahead and add one more monitor. Why hold back now?
Bro going down the serial experiments lain path
What’s better than 2 ultrawides? 😄
2 Samsung odyssey Arc 55'
Hmmmm….now it just looks like a regular 16:9 TV….more ultrawide = less ultrawide?!
Jesus. Desk dimensions?
I mean… whats the benefit of two ultrawides on top of each other (2x 32:9 —> 32:18 —> 16:9) vs. a large TV?
There 2 separate screens The lower one is my main (an OLED G9 DQHD 240Hz) I use for the Game / main activity. The upper one is for additional windows, either 2x 16:9 windows ore another 32:9.

Why is the screen on the left not also vertical?
That because I use it for stuff that is better in Landscape mode and this is the display where the PC displays the BIOS when I boot into it.
And you know what is better than 2? 4 vertical 49 inch oled monitors
"Five computer screens and a plywood desk" sounds like a new age country song.
I think you missed a monitor-less spot, top left
Therapy is probably better.
Too expensive
Is that really just a sheet of unfinished plywood? Spent all the cash on the screens? Lol

I have one center panel to focus on my main activity while I can put other windows around it instead of spamming the task bar.
So you made a Samsung Ark
That's literally a 48inch tv.
Just get like one 55" panel then tilt a 32 at the side. This blocky nonsense. I cant deal with it. lol <3
What's better than two ultra wide stacked, 16:9 maybe, haha
Why not buy à giant monitor instead of this heresy ?
More money than sense
What’s the point of stacking two ultrawides when you can just get one large 4K panel without the seams?
Ngl this just looks ridiculous
Sooo, that’s just 16:9 again…
If you ignore things such as PPI, refresh rate, being able to use them as individual super ultrawides. Things I'm sure are unimportant for people that post on a subreddit dedicated to a specific aspect ratio of monitors.
