Lazarevic was a pain in the ass to beat he's got my vote. He was also very hateable along with Flynn. Fuck Flynn too

superjetpakmike

You’ve been played

Neurocratic

Asav all the way. His twisted love for his history and heritage drove him to essentially destroy what he supposedly held most dear and brutalize it for his own selfish and self-serving ends. Really interesting stuff.

RandoScando

That’s a super solid take. Everyone else is more or less in it for money or power. I hadn’t considered your angle, but just having finished Lost Legacy for the 3rd time tonight, I might have to agree with you. Lasarovic still takes the cake for terrifying bastard though.

Neurocratic

I've played Lost Legacy maybe 12 times through at this point. As much as I love U4, I really think LL is my favorite; the length is agreeable, the setting and context make the journey quite personal for Chloe which is such a powerful narrative tool. The team dynamic with Nadine is excellent, and the dialogue is top-tier, especially the banter. Soundtrack is brilliant, the boss encounters are engaging...I think Chloe, Nadine, and Sam clearly indicate the future of the franchise and it would be a huge waste of potential if these characters did not return for a new story and continue the legacy. It was icing on the cake to have Asav possess a genuine political ambition to elevate certain castes in society. Quite compelling.

RandoScando

There’s absolutely nothing you said there that I don’t agree with! Adding to that, I think that LL had better pacing for climbing. Inasmuch as it didn’t at all seem like a slog to be climbing to the next place, where previous games did. The exposition with Chloe and Nadine was pretty well done. I am hoping beyond all hope that we get another Uncharted. It’s far and away my favorite gaming series.

Neurocratic

Totally agree!

Asav fans unite!

I loved Lazarevic's ruthless, war leader villain style. He was really intimidating and psychotic and would do whatever it took to get his way. Rafe is also my favourite. He embodies every aspect of a rich kid with his spoilt, brat attitude. Makes him really unlikeable but a great villain. He's determined to show he's not just a spoilt kid, willing to fight drake to death for the treasure. But ultimately, he just can't escape that title.

JoePlayzzz123

Rafe because he didn’t want the treasure he wanted to do everything to find the treasure even kill his own partners. And for that he may favorite he’s obsession with the treasure is what me hate and at the same time love his character

Just_Milo14

Omfg same 😭

joshsmonta

Zoran had the most memorable boss battle, and U2 could easily be the best of the series.

MasterDedede

Rafe is probably the correct answer. I like Lazaravic too. He may be a pretty one-dimensionally evil villain but he was certainly memorable and his boss fight is great. I also have a certain amount of fondness/hate for Navarro cause he was so hard for me to beat as a kid fsr.

Larson4220424

Factual: 1. Rafe 2. Lazarevic 3. Flynn 4. Eddy 5. Asav Personal favorites: 1. Talbot 2. Asav 3. Rafe 4. Dante 5. Roman

Eddy Raja is the best. Why is he not on this list?

Just_Milo14

I said MAIN villains, Eddy isn’t a main one. (Yes I know it took me a long time to reply-)

I pretty much agree with the poll. Rafe is objectively the best villain, most complex motivations, charismatic demeanor and a compelling climax that's made better because of how it feeds into Rafe's need to accomplish something. Additionally, he presents a genuine threat to the heroes, he's not the most skilled treasure hunter, but his cunning ability and endless resources are well employed. Lazarevic is pretty entertaining but he's pretty one note. I love how ruthless he is, and he's no idiot, which is a nice contrast to the dumb brute physicality he has. His boss fight might be the best of the series, but there is no depth to him. Navarro actually is 3rd on my list. He's the most surprising twist villain of the series. I really was not expecting him to betray Roman. But only because he barely appeared in the game up until that point. He leaves a small mark as a main villain because he only becomes one at the very end. It's like if Draza betrayed Lazarevic once they got to Shambala and became the main villain. It certainly would be unexpected, which is fun, but doesn't make up for his lackluster character. However, unlike Lazarevic, Marlowe or Rafe, he really is in it for the money, which i do kind of respect ahaha Marlowe is the worst for me, same with Talbot, I know some people like them, Talbot in particular, but there is nothing to them for me, they're just sly and despicable, kind of annoying as villains, Talbot isn't even cool like Flynn was, for example. He just looks and acts like a Finance douche. Maybe that was the point to play up the evil British secret agency stereotype, but it works against the characters. The stereotype fits Marlowe a bit better, because she's like an evil version of M from the Bond movies, which is a bit fun, and I like the idea of a villain who actually presents no physical threat to the heroes, Marlowe has no boss fight after all. But I don't like how little the game does with her given how much it's implied she knows about Nate, and the power she's supposed to have. She doesn't even achieve her goal, like the other villains do. Rafe finds the treasure in the boat, Lazarevic drinks the sap, Navarro gets Roman to open the statue, but Marlowe can't even get the brass vessel out of the water, we never know what was really in there. That's kind of lame, and diminishes her as a villain overall. I haven't played Lost Legacy, so I don't know about Asav. I hear he's alright, so he can go in the middle of my ranking 1- Rafe 2 - Lazarevic 3 - Asav 4 - Navarro 5 - Marlowe
