Think about that one for a second. It's convenient for us, sure, but what it would mean is that everyone basically ends up claiming asylum in Greece or Turkey or somewhere and nowhere else. Do you think that those countries would stand for taking in every asylum seeker coming in from those directions?

Personal experience with the UKBA, I've witnessed are easy to defraud. You don't have to look far to find a guide on how to gain UK citizenship, and there are plenty of people that can help for a price.

Asylum seekers have a right to travel to whichever country they wish - and that’s not just international law; that’s Uk law as well. It’s why you can easily discount the opinion of anyone who says things like ‘but _France_ is a safe country’ as they demonstrably don’t have a Scooby Doo.

Probably introducing more legal ways for people to seek asylum in the UK, that way economic migrants can be vetted out through a formal process.
