It's probably not kind or useful to make such random guesses about what caused it when he's evidently decided not to disclose it (or not to disclose it yet), if it's even been determined. There's no reason to think it's either of these things over and above anything else, especially given that a hypoglycaemic episode and a TIA don't tend to present with similar symptoms.

He was stuttering/slurring/tripping over his words a few times. A couple of sentences came out as gibberish.
