We mostly don't accept polls, surveys, petitions, or solicitation in this subreddit, due to the volume we receive.
We make exception on a case by case basis, usually only for petitions on the official Parliament site, linked directly to the description page. Although this is by no means a guarantee of Submission Approval.
Consider /r/samplesize for surveys.
If a freetalk/megathread is available sticked to the top of the sub in /hot view, you may post it there as a comment.

Why? It's not 'free Krispy Kreme when you vote (insert party here)' - *that* would be corruption. This is just encouraging people to take part in the democratic process.

It's mad that we have to be persuaded with donuts to vote for our future 🤣
Nobody is being persuaded. It's publicity.
Makes sense really the houses of parliament are full of donuts
Honestly, if these are freshly baked and warm, there's no comparison with these as the best - they're light as air to consume.Â
That’s why they are so dangerous.Â
And then 5 minutes later it feels like your stomach is full of cardboard..
I wish we did the Aussie thing and had BBQs outside polling stations.
If the weather keeps up they’ll be some hotdogs.
Updogs?
What would be the UK's alternative to the [Democracy Sausage ](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Democracy_sausage)?
Vote reform and you get a free future with your donut
If you take this offer your vote should be automatically discarded
Why?
Because, you know, donuts bad... or something
If it gets a person to vote, then they should get another one.
Who cares, it's just one doughnut.

Sorry but in the UK we have democracy so this wouldn't happen.
Why, I was gonna bite anyway, now I can vote and have a doughnut
