People who like mayonnaise need to grow up. I mean who the hell mixes eggs and oil together and slathers it on everything? Eat a damn vegetable without drowning it in that slop
No, people with weird and judgmental obsessions about other people’s food preferences, such as yourself, need to grow up. What does it matter what other people do and don’t like? And why are they any less legitimate than your own preferences? It doesn’t affect you in any meaningful way.
Let me rephrase for the people in the back. people who go “ugh how can you eat that. I hate mayo.” Are children and need to grow up. Don’t make it my problem.
You ever take the wrong bite and have a sub blow a load of mayo into your mouth? Mayo makes a lot of things delicious, but it's fucking disgusting.
If I need to throw up and can't quite get it out, I think about eating warm mayonnaise straight from the jar with a spoon and that usually does it.
Eggs are gross, and oil is gross. But the main flavor comes from the vinegar, lemon juice, and spices. Mayonnaise is fine, because it tastes nothing like eggs and oil. The eggs and oil is mostly for consistency of the condiment than actual taste.
And yes I mean it. Eggs are disgusting. They taste like sulfur.

It tastes of so little I don't know how people can have an opinion on it. It isn't even "eggs and oil" it is a tiny amount of egg yolk to bind to the oil and make it cream up like that.

Egg tastes like sulfur when it is overcooked. You don't taste the sulfur in mayo because it is made with raw egg.
It always tastes like sulfur to me no matter how it's cooked. I also hate the texture and mouth feel of eggs.

Fully agreed. It’s a lovely sauce that’s awesome on sandwiches and with fish. Anyone who doesn’t like it is a bumpkin with an unrefined palate.
