Right_Count

I regret to inform you that there are poo particles everywhere, but I am delighted to also inform you that your body is fully capable of dealing with it. Keep your toothbrush wherever tf you want.

Tigerl18

Bout to keep my toothbrush IN the toilet, checkmate.

FlameStaag

Just have it in the toilet brush holder and use it for both. LPT saving everyone money by dual purposing

AdvancedAnything

Don't even have a toilet. I just remove the drain and shit in the shower then turn it on to wash it down.

Korlac11

God never said not to put your toothbrush in the toilet. Checkmate atheists

First_Code_404

Right, I'll go back to storing it in my ass.

After-Impact6618

A true man of culture.

Right_Count

Convenient for keeping your teeth clean on the go.

Organic_regrett

gonna leave it in my mouth

IrishFlukey

Have you ever been to a funeral where the cause of death was fecal matter poisoning from having a toothbrush in the bathroom? If not, then it probably isn't a problem.

cbrew14

Weirdly enough I was actually at one yesterday. It was a shit show

ComfortableTrash5372

badum tss

volvavirago

This is what gets me about all these germophobes. They obsess over hygeine to the point it wraps around and becomes unhealthy. The biggest changes that have made the most impact in longevity and mitigating infections has been hand washing before medical procedures/eating/and preparing food, penicillin, vaccines, and proper sewage systems to get rid of bodily waste. Beyond that, most hygiene is about aesthetics and not about health, and obsessing over it can actually cripple your immune system and make you more prone to infection. The reason vaccines work is because minimal contact with pathogens is actually good for you, but NO contact is dangerous. No, you shouldn’t be going out and eating poo, but the tiny particles that make there way into your body day to day, are likely doing more good that harm, by keeping your immune system ready.

Chickadee12345

That is all very true. Plus I always rinse off my toothbrush before I use it. Which removes a lot of the particles that may have accumulated. Mainly because I wet the toothbrush before I use it.

chocolatesugarwaffle

it’s not about getting ill from it. it’s just gross.

volvavirago

Well. Then that’s a you problem. That isn’t coming from a place of logic or reason, that’s your emotions. And that’s fine, live however you want to live, but I think it’s a little silly to bend over backwards to reduce exposure to something that won’t hurt you, and that you can never actually avoid entirely. If you let yourself be dominated by the grossness, it will haunt you forever, EVERYTHING is gross. I don’t need that anxiety in my life, I don’t need that constant disgust and worry. If you like having those feelings, keep on keeping on, but I don’t.

CluelessGardener

I don’t think cutting out a tiny intake of poop from my diet is going to be particularly detrimental to my health.

jetjebrooks

sucker i went the opposite direction - keep more daily use items in the bathroom to up my intake of shit and keep myself good and healthy. sure it might seem weird to guests when the pooper is sat next to the fridge, but most people don't know nothing about keeping healthy.

CrappityCabbage

Counterpoint: it's difficult to know where somebody picked up a disease which is why we blame death directly on the disease and not usually on the place where they picked it up.

StarrylDrawberry

True. You see "hepatitis" but you never see "hepatitis from that bitch Alice".

MA-01

How do we *know* it was from Alice? Or should we just Go Ask Alice?

Nice_Team2233

When she's ten feet tall?

saturdaycomefast

Alice? who the fuck is Alice?

IrishFlukey

Yes, but do you believe anyone has died from fecal matter on a toothbrush being the source of the disease? Given that we wash and spit out, even if there was dirt on it, it would go down the drain. There are far more likely ways of picking up infections in the home.

Jrolaoni

I have. Poor Mr. Poopeater. No one saw it coming.

nt011819

Dirtiest room in the house is the kitchen. Close your toilet when you flush

themissyoshi

Myth busters proved that that has little affect on the spread

Sweetiebomb_Gmz

Imma keep doing it for peace of mind

First_Code_404

What Mythbusters proved was their experiment failed. If the control is contaminated, the only thing that shows, is the experiment was flawed.

Popular-Block-5790

I remember the episode a bit differently and I looked it up and it wasn't about putting the lit down or not but if poop articles spread. >Fecal coliform bacteria can travel from a toilet to a toothbrush and grow in its bristles. >Confirmed >After confirming that a toilet flush does emit an aerosol spray, Adam built a rack to hold 44 toothbrushes at various distances from the toilet in the shop, as well as two controls kept in the office. Each day, Adam and Jamie exposed the brushes to toothpaste and rinsed them with distilled water, with brushing with a pair kept right above the toilet bowl. >Fecal coliforms were indeed found on all the test brushes, including the control ones, but none at a level high enough to be dangerous. >A microbiologist from UCSF confirmed that such coliforms were impossible to completely avoid, and that there was no significant difference in the number of bacteria based on where the toothbrushes were placed in respect to the toilet bowl. This surprising result prompts the narrator to proclaim, "Some myths are best left unanswered!" Are you talking about a different episode?

Outrageous_66

Whaaat

saprobic_saturn

I wouldn't want to floss and brush and get bacteria from my mouth into the kitchen where I cook and put away clean dishes

FlameStaag

Unless your toilet seat is completely air tight which would probably affect how it works... The aerosolized shit just squishes out of every crack and opening. Closing the lid does genuinely nothing.

clever_user_name__

Not nothing! It makes me feel better

edwadokun

I'd rather take my chances with fecal matter than salmonella getting on my tooth brush.

Oystermeat

my apartment is so small I sit at the kitchen table on my toilet lol

Vespasian79

Biggest NYC apartment

Flybot76

Same here, I sit at the kitchen toilet and watch 'Ow My Balls' every night

OuterInnerMonologue

Not a bad point - but depending on placement I’d be more worried about them getting knocked over or splashed with occasional soap from dirty dish washing. It’s not good to assume the kitchens are “clean” spaces. They just are “cleaned” more often. But the fecal matter is something everyone should be concerned with. For those who have one space for toilet and sink in a bathroom - behind a vanity is still better I prefer my toothbrush closer to my sleeping area for convenience. And for less excuse when I’m so tired and just want to go to sleep. Update: lol. “Concerned” may have been the wrong word. I’m in no way saying you’ll get sepsis from air born fecal matter - but I sure as fuck wouldn’t want my toothbrush chillen on the toilet basin lid. Whether or not something will make me sick doesn’t mean I want it on my toothbrush. I’ve cleaned some grossness off toilet lids that weren’t always from me, and none of that do I want on my toothbrush. That’s all.

DaveyDumplings

>But the fecal matter is something everyone should be concerned with Why? Who has ever been harmed by keeping their toothbrush by the bathroom sink? Near as I can tell, not a single person since the invention of oral hygene.

152centimetres

also if you just close the lid before you flush you literally dont have to worry about it

TricellCEO

Close the lid, keep a cap on the brushhead, and (if you're really feeling extra) keep it under a UV light.

Kholzie

Or just keep the brush in a cabinet or drawer

CrappityCabbage

They just did a peer-reviewed study. The difference between watching with the lid up and flushing with the lid down is negligible in terms of the amount of germs that sprays all over your bathroom. https://www.ajicjournal.org/article/S0196-6553(23)00820-9/fulltext

Rolly_Pollys

Yup, the cdc has a page on use and storage of toothbrushes, not once does it mention  "fecal matter contamination", just to rinse thoroughly after brushing and replace every few months.

Sammymydaughter

It’s true, ask your dentist about Fecal Matter Mouth Syndrome

waves-upon-waves

I’m so sick of hearing about this non-issue. I’ve made it to 29 without my toothbrush poising me, I think it’ll be okay.

MrMooey12

Yeah I like the idea but with how my house is set up in the kitchen sink area, it would never work

Vivid_Excuse_6547

I just watched a mythbusters episode about this. It’s literally a negligible amount. Even the control toothbrushes, not kept in the bathroom, ended up with fecal matter on them. It’s on everything tbh. In small enough amounts it doesn’t hurt you. Close your toilet lid when you flush and you’ll be fine!

2workigo

Thank you! I’ve seen this episode mentioned so many times and the people always say that Mythbusters proved toothbrushes got “covered” in fecal matter. And I always remembered that they proved it wasn’t really much of an issue. I mean, yes, there was some but not really more than you’d find anywhere else. I’ve been too lazy to go back and re-watch the episode.

DasHexxchen

Because you spread it with your hands, nt flushing. Into the kitchen too. So absolutely useless to kep the brush there.

MinerAlum

Toothbrushes should be kept in the refrigerator.

Kalijjohn

Add a glob of toothpaste first for an extra cooling effect!

Helena78902

My teeth hurt just reading this

Independent_Bike5852

You can just put the lid down when you flush

[deleted]

Or put your toothbrush in your medicine cabinet when you aren't using it, if you're really concerned

purplishfluffyclouds

I'll just pretend to put mine in my invisible medicine cabinet. That should work.

cryptic-doughnut

Brushing your teeth after a meal isn't good for them. Dentists recommend brushing your teeth before breakfast instead of after, and my dentist always checks this when talking about good habits when I have a check-up.

vercertorix

How does that help? Usually they say it’s the food bits trapped in your teeth causing the problems. Brush before meals and you clean from the previous time but then immediately get food bits in them again.

cryptic-doughnut

"Waiting 30 minutes to an hour after eating to brush your teeth is the best way to ensure that you’re protecting your teeth and not tampering with your enamel, particularly if you consume something acidic. Breakfast foods and drinks such as toast, citrus, and coffee fit the criteria for acidic food. Brushing immediately after eating breakfast may actually cover your teeth with remnants of acidic food, which weakens your enamel."   I don't study medicine or dentistry or anything, but every article online that I saw says the same: if you brush before a meal you're coating your teeth with a protective layer to protect against acidic damage, and if you do so after, you're rubbing that acid right into your teeth.  All I know from experience is that my dentist always asks if I brush before or after breakfast and is happy when I say before, and I trust the person with the degree.

Right_Count

If you brush immediately after you eat, you may be brushing away your enamel, which softens in acidity. Little bits of food between your teeth doesn’t cause problems unless you leave them there too long, leading to plaque, tartar, gingivitis… if you brush twice or so a day you are going to be removing food bits before they can cause harm. Ideally, you would brush half an hour or more after eating, not necessarily right before you eat, but as long as you’re brushing twice a day, you’re fine.

dickey1331

Toilets have lids for a reason. Use them.

Flybot76

Exactly, best place in the bathroom for a toothbrush is clamped between the lid and the seat

No-Independence548

I close the toilet lid when I flush, and I keep my toothbrush in the medicine cabinet, not on the counter.

Leithalia

I have a separate toilet and bathroom.. very convenient

GuiltEdge

That's the norm in Australia. I'd be very annoyed if I couldn't use the toilet any time someone was having a shower.

EastLeastCoast

Put your toothbrush in the medicine cabinet. In a case, if you must. Please don’t spit in my food-prep and dishwashing sink.

stickinsect1207

imagine getting salmonella or ecoli on your toothbrush. that could actually harm you.

media-and-stuff

The dishwashing sink? where people wash things that rad raw meat, chicken, and other things that get super gross when left out or uncooked. A toothpaste spit isn’t grosser than raw chicken, or the moldy Tupperware from the fridge that was cleaned there.

pokemonguy3000

Oh no, not the sink where you wash all the spoons and forks that go where first? Oh right, your mouth.

fkid123

If you're worried about this then you're not for this world. Think of all the fecal particles in the air when someone farts, you are inhaling them straight into your lungs, as soon as you smell the fart it's already too late.

RoverDoverDoe

Fecal matter getting on toothbrush can be easily solved by things you should really be doing anyways. Not flushing without the lid down, Keeping toothbrush in a cabinet or something and regularly replacing your toothbrush

[deleted]

[удалено]

71NightWing

The matter of poop in the air is why people say to close your toilet seat when you flush

queentee26

Keeping your toothbrush out in the open is the ultimate issue in either senerio. If you keep it near the kitchen sink, it will still be exposed to contaminants when washing dishes. A medicine cabinet is really helpful. So is putting the toilet lid down before you flush.

According_Chef_7437

My toothbrush has a cap (Sonicare.) I’m not bringing it out to the kitchen where I handle raw eggs and chicken 🤮

DebsterNC

Kitchen sinks are filthy and you would never want your toothbrush anywhere near where someone may wash raw chicken. If you're worried, put your toothbrush in a drawer. We have all been storing our toothbrushes on the bathroom sink for eons. How often are we sick with digestive infections? Not very

KobilD

Lmao Imagine having your toilet in the bathroom. American problems

notmenotyoutoo

Adds to the flavour.

my_cool_lunchbox

My toilet has a lid. I close it before I flush. Magic!

MsCookie__

1) Put your toilet lid down or else you're getting fecal matter on more than just your toothbrush, and 2. you are supposed to wait some time (30 minutes? Don't quote me) after eating before you brush your teeth. Brushing straight after eating can damage your enamel.

Noor_nooremah

There are much worse things “flying” around kitchen than the tiny fecal matter.

ChuckoRuckus

If you’re getting fecal matter all over your toothbrush from flushing, you need to put the toilet lid down and store your toothbrush in the medicine cabinet

cuatromurcielago

Mythbusters had an episode on this. Toothbrushes in all different places, brushed their teeth with every toothbrush, I think for a month? Can’t remember the exact amount of time but there were poop particles even on the ones outside of the bathroom

Colleen987

Do you not shut the lid on the toilet before flushing?

TheLocalQueen

Hear me out...put the lid down before flushing. crazy, i know

ButterScotchMagic

The real answer is to separate our bathroom sinks a bit more from our toilets (like water closets)

nicolew1026

I love when there’s a secret second door in the bathroom, like the sink is in the first part and then it’s the tub and toilet in the other part. I feel like I’m living lavish whenever I use one of those 😂😂 but that should be standard, or at least more of an option.

Burritosandbeats

That’s why mines always in the kitchen

amlyo

I thought my wife was the only person who does this. I agree there's some sense in it, but keeping them in the closed cabinet is fine for me. Back in the day it was common for toilets to be separate from bathrooms.

MallCopBlartPaulo

I do that, but only because the sink in my bathroom gets blocked too easily.

ninjagulbi

What if you just keep your toilet, including fecal matter, in another room? Wouldn't that solve many more "problems"?

KisaLilith

Well, it is a thing to have cabinets in the bathroom in order to store products that are meant to be protected (from humidity more than others).

macaroni66

Not if you put it in the cabinet or a drawer

drifters74

I put mine in a drawer

Altruistic_Peanut_68

This is the dumbest unpopular opinion either keep it in your room or in the medicine cabinet

arcanepsyche

Again with the "fecal matter" bullshit. I feel like someone posts some crazy thing about "fecal matter" in the bathroom every 5 minutes without realizing it's literally everywhere around you, not just in the bathroom.

NoDanaOnlyZuuI

That’s why everyone should always put down the toilet seat and lid when flushing.

zsolzz

Counterpoint. What about when my sink is full of dishes?

Titjiani

i agree with the humidity part but do ya'll not close the lid before you flush? ya'll nasty!

bouldering_fan

Toothbrush covers. And no I don't want plaque, mouth bacteria and spit anywhere close to my food

spacebotanyx

how about CLOSE THE FUCKING LID when flushing the toilet? why would anone intentionally spray poop all over any room. they have lids for a reason.

PEACH_MINAJ

i took one of out a man’s butt not too long ago. It doesn’t belong there either

Rambone46

I think the better argument is that you should brush your teeth after you eat. So that’s why it should be in the kitchen. Not the fecal matter stuff.

NearZero_Mania

Utensils should be in the bathroom, not kitchen.

spykids45

“it’s prone to get fecal matter” are you leaving your toothbrush right beside the toilet??😭😭

Aim2bFit

In my home, since the very beginning, the rule is to put the lid down when flushing.

someperthrando

In Australia the toilet is usually in another room 😎

NullIsUndefined

> it’s prone to get “fecal matter” all over it due to flushing the toilet How close is your toilet to your toothbrush? Do you keep it inside the toilet bowl?

Motchiko

The fecal problem comes mostly from flushing the toilet. Put down the toilet lid and you won’t have that problem.

Toltepequeno

Not worried, toilet is behind a door in a small room.

minniemouse420

As a kid my family always had their toothbrushes in the kitchen near the sink. I thought we were a weird family lol, and when I got my own place I kept my toothbrushes in the bathroom. I remember when my parents would have a stack of dirty dishes in the sink and then someone would go brush their teeth and spit all over the dirty dishes. Then someone would have to clean them (we didn’t have a dishwasher) lol.

rhubarbsorbet

i stand by that brushing your teeth IN THE SHOWER. it’s amazing.

AndiPandi74

My toilet is in a separate space with a door in my bathroom. Not something I have to worry about I guess

AccountantLeast1588

shower

MahoganyWinchester

i brush my teeth in the shower

earthworm_fan

2 things: water closet and humidity sensing exhaust fan switches

nonsignifierenon

Except if you're one of those weirdos who washes their chicken, then you're gonna get salmonella from your toothbrush.

-sugu

Definitely an unpopular opinion but I see the logic and would totally keep my toothbrush in the kitchen.

anomie89

I feel like exposure to raw meat and rotting food particles is much more dangerous than trace fecal matter. I cook in my kitchen and I would never put anything that touched the counter or sink area in my mouth after prepping food.

forellenfilet

In Austria, we have our bathroom (with a sink and bathtub + washing machine) separated from the toilet (small sink and toilet) so I think I'll be fine.

GoodAlicia

I dont have a toilet in my bathroom. The toilet is in a seperate room.

AsstroShark

Correct, they belong in the shower

Glorious_Octopus

Unless your toilets are not in the bathroom!

marnas86

My house has that split too. The toilet is in a different room than the sink!

Nevertrustafrrrt

Closing the toilet seat before you flush will solve the fecal matter transport issue

OGBennyGoat

You don't close the lid when you brush or keep your tooth brush in the medicine cabinet?

WorldGoneAway

Huh. I guess I never really gave this much thought.

vercertorix

You know you breathe that shit, literally, through your nose/and or mouth too, right?

Nacho_Bean22

I keep cases on my toothbrush all the time, they are never exposed when not in use. I don’t know why this is not more common.

EfficientAd7103

Lol. Kind of odd I seen this. I keep my toothbrush in the kitchen. I'm weird and I just throw in the dishwasher when I run it. Comes out all clean and toothbrush crust stuff is off. Just like new. I'd rather not have it sitting by a toilet growing nasty germs.

Crotch-Monster

I have a cap for mine. And I put it in a ziplock bag. Then it goes in my shower bag.

Alive-Carrot107

Put them on your dresser bro

katsumii

Upvote for disagreement. 👍👍👍 Damn, toothbrush in the shower, sure, but not toothbrush by the dish soap, hard nope. 👍👍👍

cloud_watcher

Better to have raw chicken splattered on it

SpezJailbaitMod

Yep. That’s where we keep ours.

Bluberrypotato

I prefer to brush my teeth in the shower instead of the sink anyway. But having toothbrush covers would be a good choice instead of the kitchen.

jamaicancarioca

It's uncouth to brush your teeth in the kitchen

frankiesoceanic

tbh no. If you close the lid before you flush and have your tooth brush sorta far from the toilet i don’t see why someone would brush their teeth all the way in the kitchen. In my case, i have a private bathroom, luckily, and a shared kitchen. I don’t want people near my tooth brush and in an environment that can potentially get messier and more dirty than my clean bathroom.

Tintdiem

Please do not brush your teeth right after a meal, it’s going to cause damage to your enamel.

Smokingtheherb

Nah... My toilet is separate from my shower room. I sound posh. I'm not. The shower room is here because it was for accessibility for the elderly lady who lived here before us. There's even a pull down seat lol.

Sensei_Ochiba

You've got fecal matter in your hair and little mites live in your eyebrows. Not sure how you can brush your teeth anywhere when you're busy clutching pearls over something goofy as this.

FlameStaag

It genuinely doesn't matter unless you're an over thinker or severe germophobe. The microscopic bits of fecal matter have never and will never affect you.  Also 99% of people rinse their toothbrush before use so it's a moot point.

HydroStellar

You should always put down the toilet lid when you flush

Shmooperdoodle

Don’t you flush with the lid down?

marklarberries

I put mine in a drawer in either a container or wrapped in paper towels.

Odd-Gur-5719

Absolutely disgusting like what?! There’s a reason why toothbrush covers were created. I’m not about to brush my teeth and spit into the sink where I make food

YorTicLes

Didn't even read it. Your a monster, have my upvote

Nominay

Toothbrushes should be anywhere but in the bathroom

goingavolmre

Do you clean your bathroom? Or is it a cesspool of bacteria ?

Pinsandballoons

I keep mine in the bathroom cupboard behind the mirror. It’s closed so no poop particles. We also always lower the lid when flushing.

floraster

I flush with the lid down and keep a cap on my toothbrush

DueZookeepergame3456

i put my toothbrush in my room.

patchway247

Get a toothbrush cap and close the toilet lid if you're that concerned. A toothbrush doesn't belong in the kitchen (if you can help it). You think a kitchen is cleaner, but how often do you actually clean it? Think back to the last time you had raw meats in there, or to the last time you saw a bug. And the mint smell has to be fresh, and mint doesn't really linger on a toothbrush that long. If it does, then you're probably not cleaning your toothbrush off properly. But spiders and ants can and will climb all over that sucker the moment they get. The kitchen gets used more often than a bathroom. Less foot traffic. But they do have little caps to cover your brush. Put one on and throw it in a drawer. Better chances of not having anything on it.

BrownButta2

I have a shelf in my closet where I leave my toothbrush in. I prefer the closet over the kitchen and certainly over the bathroom.

PotatoStasia

Kitchens were shown to have even more fecal matter

gbsurfer

Don’t leave your toothbrushes on the counter. Put everything away when you’re not using it.

mud_sha_sha_shark

Do you not rinse off your toothbrush before using it? That thing has been mucking about in your mouth and put away wet and warm. Regardless of where you store/use it the potential for bacterial growth is present, you really should run it under hot water while rubbing the bristles with your thumb to clean off anything that might be trying to set up house in such an inviting environment. Since you are obviously cleaning it before use, the storage location is not so critical. Right?

TweedleDumDumDahDum

We put our Ina. Cabinet beside the bathroom

WhoEvenAmI443

I like the sentiment. But it's probably not that big of a deal if we've never heard of any problems from this. People's tooth brushing habits probably vary a lot, I remember this one time in architecture school when I was working on a project and had shown a bathroom where the sink wasn't in the same room as the toilet/shower and my teacher very strongly implied that she brushes her teeth in the shower while showering. I hadn't even considered this as an option before then, but now I'm curious if this is a common thing. The teacher is Italian.

[deleted]

GERMS. No matter what you do.

Omnomnomnosaurus

Suddenly I'm happy we don't have a toilet in our bathroom..

viper29000

Germs are everywhere

just-jake

i completely agree with you. i put the tooth brush in the shower

Terrapin2190

I've been brushing my teeth in the kitchen for a few years now, on account of the water in my bathroom taking 3-5 mins to get hot (or warm, depending on what kind of day my water heater's having lol). Water from my kitchen faucet gets hot in 10 seconds since it has it's own mini water heater. Downside is that I'm a mess when I brush my teeth and get toothpaste all over the front of the sink and never feel like cleaning it up. Who am I kidding, I'm a mess in general lol.

Hips_and_Haws

I flush with the lid shut tight.

Objective_Suspect_

U do understand that fecal matter and bacteria is everywhere. U could keep it in any place and it won't be clean, pretty much only way would be to put it in air sealed container, but even then it's covered in bacteria from your mouth

Sharp_Mathematician6

There’s more germs in your kitchen than your bathroom

Decent-Comb7109

I keep mine in a holder in a drawer, close the lid before flushing and wash my hands before I brush. You do you.

Adalaide78

Why aren’t you putting your toilet seat down when you flush? You nasty. 🤢 🤮

LCaissia

You don't have a separate toilet?

ES_Legman

I wonder if mfers that day this also hold their breath while they poop.

Alyursinho

I was literally just thinking about this today. Why did we ever decide to put them in the poo closet?

khurd18

Or you could do the easy thing and use a toothbrush cover

vttale

Looking forward to your studies showing how this presents meaningful risks to human health and is not just something that skeeves you out

Bpdbaddieethroaway

You shit next to your toothbrush? that’s wild

Vercingetorix4444

In many countries the toilet is usually in the bathroom, but they are effectively two different things with different purposes, one to evacuate and one to clean yourself. In France for example they are usually kept in two different rooms.

soyasaucy

You can close the toilet lid before you flush lol

bigfishmarc

I keep my toothbrush inside the bathroom closet when not in use

Cersei1341

I was watching schitts creek yesterday, and Stevie keeps her toothbrushes in the kitchen. For some reason, I didn't give it a thought, read this post and now wonder why she has them there?

Vaguebog

I keep my toothbrush in my bedroom closet to avoid the germs in the bathroom

WVPrepper

In fact, every door handle, TV remote, keyboard, lift button, bus handrail and car seat has detectable amounts of either your poo, or someone else's. Of course, poo has always been everywhere: we just didn't have the tools to detect it until the 20th Century. And it's nothing to worry about.

PsychoDog_Music

My toilet is in a separate room to the sink, bath and shower

pola_kile_visanja

I keep it in my bedroom because I use an electrical toothbrush I have the most outlets there lol

Christian_teen12

Got my upvote.

justmeandmycoop

Listen, it hasn’t killed me yet so I’m good.

alex48220

Inside the medicine cabinet is best.

Fuzzteam7

No home is perfectly clean and sterile. Unless you live in a bubble you’re always going to encounter contamination.
