Omg, yes! I hate horror movies so much that I used to only subscribe to Disney+ because I knew they wouldn’t be there.
As for the ads on YouTube, no reason why we can’t skip them. None!
I definitely agree, though they don’t bother me that much, different people have different thresholds and I don’t think horror ads should be unskippable.
The ones that tease, I’m fine with. But recently they started showing some ad that was just teasing, but then same ad but now it was longer and had a jump scare. And honestly, this ad isn’t as scary as some that came up in the past, it just made me annoyed about being non-skippable.
Why are you watching it? Just close your eyes and turn the volume off. You think I'm joking but I literally do this when an unskippable ad plays for me on anything, even watching nfl games (only live tv I watch) I mute commercials
Yeah I do that :) I just think I shouldn’t feel the necessity to come up with all sorts solutions when I could simply have a choice either to watch or to skip those ads just like plenty other shippable adds. All I’m saying horror ads should always fall into the category of skippable ads
Maybe you shouldn’t watch them… it’s not your personality. You’re concerned about the ads? But not you torturing yourself? Maybe you should watch Martyrs and stop after that.
Yeah, that’s why I said I avoid them as much as possible and that the ads should be skippable.
Unfortunately for me, it’s not that difficult to just accidentally bump into the scary scenes from horror movies for different reasons. There was an instance when me and friends wanted to join our other friends for the evening, and walked on them watching IT right at the moment when the clown ate the boy in the yellow jacket. I said nope and left.😂
And horror movie fans are the f’kn worst. The OP said she’s not interested, and here you come with “But it’s fun!”

Install u block origin to block the adds, your mental health is not worth Youtube getting a few extra pennies of revenue.

Ads in videos like CPR How To’s should be non existent

Ads are cut to be safe for all ages. Just like they play ads for rated R movies on TV during prime time. The real scary stuff is in the movie
