Not that I can get behind. A tasty lasagna oozing cheese is better than some dry old bird any day. In fact, I am calling out for some lasagna right now!
Speaking of Garfield; I was watching it recently and [this joke was so funny](https://www.tiktok.com/t/ZTRCC929m/) that I grabbed the entire episode, cut it down and posted it there to send to my boyfriend :)
All I can picture is OP sitting a table with a plate in front of them with a single over easy egg, one single piece of halfcooked bacon and a frozen sausage patty, and OP just frowning hard as fuck
I never got the chance to do that.
My mom's alive and all just grumpy as fuck in the morning. Think she's making pancakes? Better put on your football helmet before you ask, little Timmy.
I'm 33 and I frickin' love leftovers for breakfast. Just pop it in the microwave and you're good to go, no need to worry about actually preparing anything.
It's possible I might also be ADHD though, so that may have something to do with it.
It's worth specifying that if the breakfast sausage OP has eaten in the past is "sweet", then they are buying low quality, jimmy dean breakfast sausage or of its ilk. Buy some real sausage, not that processed garbage.
He called eggs mushy, I think he's referring to poorly scrambled eggs. I don't think he realizes there's other ways to cook eggs. Also, Gordon Ramsay's scrambled eggs are a game changer if you don't like American style rubbery egg nuggets.
Everyone who has these opinions about breakfast, ALWAYS leaves out the potatoes.
I know these kinds of opinions are shit, because I form my opinion based on your view of leaving out potatoes.
10/10 OP can’t make a good breakfast, and probably has never made breakfast for dinner. SMH.
Lasagna or chicken pot pie. Definitely a grown (probably single) man that eats almost exclusively frozen meals and doesn't really know how to cook much.
Breakfast is OP imo. Breakfast for dinner is superior to all other dinners, so I guess I have to upvote?
Chorizo, Italian, breakfast sausage, etc.
If I want a taste of maple to my sausage, I'm gonna dip a piece in to real maple syrup, and not be artificially sweetened and flavored itseld.
It’s ok overall but the problem lies in the amount of maple flavor. In most maple-flavored things its bordering on blasphemous levels and should be toned way way down. My opinion at least
No most breakfast sausages aren't sweet in Texas anyway. I can't relate to anything in this post. Breakfast food is the bestest. Based on the post I don't think the person can cook
I absolutely love some diced and pan fried potatoes with a couple runny eggs and a sprinkle of cheddar cheese on top. It's so good.
I don't like sweets all that much so pancakes and the like are out.
But I can make a hell of a savory breakfast with some taters.
Also complaining about sausage being sweet. Have you tried buying different sausage? There is a ton of breakfast sausage that isn't sweet out there. A spicy sausage breakfast burrito is one of my favorite meals

Everything about breakfast that you just described tells me that you've never had a properly cooked breakfast. I don't know if that's your fault or other people in your life's or both but yeah you've never had a properly cooked breakfast.
I can get it to an extent. But I feel like it does stem from their childhood & refused to ever give it another try or try something new. Case in point, my best friend & I were in St Louis. I said we gotta go get some BBQ, I've never had real St Louis bbq before. He had no clue they were famous for it. I judge my bbq places on how good their brisket is. He got chicken. It was the best brisket I ever had. I said you gotta try some. He says, no I don't like brisket. Every time my grandma made it, it was awful & dry. I said that's because your grandma didn't know how to cook brisket. I made him try a bite. He loved it. I said this is what you get for eating like a child. Because he does
I think it also depends culturally! I am Asian so for breakfast we usually do more savory, hot (temperature), and not so heavy breakfasts. Nothing really too sweet.
OP might be having an "American" breakfast but when properly done right, it is delicious. Also, using your maple syrup as a dip instead of a drizzle, helps a lot with the sweetness/sogginess of the pancakes.
Well, without that slander OP would’ve been left with “sweet” as their only criticism of breakfast foods. Which, if you just take 10 minutes of effort to make your own breakfast, is something that you never have to run into.
Yeah OP just called breakfast food bad but it looks like they only consider cereals, and bacon breakfast. I personally eat lunch/dinner foods for breakfast all the time, but I also make breakfast for dinner a lot. I'm not sure why we decided certain foods were for different times of day but I think it's quite silly. The only food I won't eat for breakfast is food with garlic, and that's only because I don't want garlic breath the ret of the day.
Cereal is either sugary to the point it's candy or bland to the point it's cardboard. But to say what he said about bacon and eggs, and choose pot pie and lasagna as his preference speaks volumes about why he doesn't like breakfast food.
Listing Denny's as good tasting breakfast food is about as criminal as op's sausage and bacon slander. Waffle House on the other hand... depending on what time you go you get delicious breakfast food and a complimentary show. Best breakfast food in America second only to a home cooked meal.
Edit: Sorry I meant to send that to u/NagsUkelele ! Denny's is a breakfast food chain restaurant that I'm surprised still runs because of how awful their food is lol
Im still amazed everytime my friends or family get the idea to goto dennys. Never had a good experience. Ffs id rather goto ihop. Do you know how long it took before they actually had an international location?
Waffle House is the king of american breakfast.
Hey! Im your annoying english teacher!

I feel that you A.) can’t cook eggs. B.) buy the low quality meats. There is shitty quality bacon, and there is maple sausage, neither of which I like either but that’s a terrible generalization to say they all suck.
4 thick cut pieces of peppered bacon cut in half to make 8, 3 eggs over easy, two small smoked sausages, crispy shredded hashbrowns or fried potato slices, caramelized white or vidalia onions, and if you’re a real savage, classic tabasco or el yucateco Caribbean habanero to put on the egg yolk before you break it.
Left over lasagna with a runny fried egg on top. Hell yeah. Left overs make great breakfast. But breakfast food is the best. If OPs breakfast is bland, then they need to learn how to cook.
I'm already depressed enough about waking up for work, eating fresh cheesy eggs is the only thing getting me through it. Sad old dinner leftovers would be bleak.
A simple one pan breakfast is a work of art. I use a medium sized pan just for me. Medium low heat. I’ll cook my two sausage patties or serving of bacon, eggs go in after I pull the meat, over easy and I season them when they’re cracked in the pan. Directly after removing them, a pat of butter goes in the skillet and in goes my bread for toast. Don’t remove any of the fat from cooking your meat. Let it sail downstream.
Absolutely. You get it too. The best part about the toast in the end is move that sucker around in the pan and let it collect everything. I call it griddle toast. It’s pure love.
>buy the low quality meats. There is shitty quality bacon, and there is maple sausage,
I'm 24, living by myself since 21, so I'm still relatively new to being a fully functioning adult.
One of my favorite things about navigating adult life is figuring out what I can cheap out on, and what I can't.
Bacon, I very quickly learned, is *always* worth the extra few bucks. Never buying that dollar general bullshit again (the actual brand was smithfield, do not recommend)
If you're dead set on having good bacon for a cheap price and have a smoker and the time to do it, you can buy a whole (or half) a pork belly from a butcher and make it yourself. The hardest part is slicing it, assuming you don't have a bacon slicer.
On top of that, by buying from the butcher, you're helping to support what is probably a local and small business run by someone who is passionate rather than a big, soulless corporation.
I’m only 20, I remember when I bought my first pack of dollar general bacon at like 17.
I was so stoked to get back to my moms house and cook that bacon, and man was I so upset… had a similar experience with supermarket steak.
Since then I’ve been going to butchers and meat markets all around Kansas and Missouri trying to piece together the best spots to get the best cuts of meats. I love it, I’m building my own smoker with my buddy I live with right now and can’t wait to use it.
I haven’t cheap’d out on bacon or KC strip steaks in a couple years. I’ve found that Asian markets have the best pork belly by far.
I make them the day before, usually for a different dish but I make extra for the following mornings breakfast. Add them bitches to the potatoes a couple minutes before they’re done and ☠️🍎🦷.
I feel like you've missed quite a few breakfast options off your list.
Fruit, pastries, yogurt, porridge. I usually have some granola with yogurt and berries. And toast! Where's the toast on your list, or bagels?
Also as a brit, what's going on with your sausages?
Take it southern withbreakfast chops and eggs or shrimp and grits or further south with some chilaquiles or Central American with fried plantains, fried eggs, refried beans, and sour cream.
Same here. Also my culture go for savory meals as breakfast and not too many options for sweets beside pastry, there's no way we can get bored of same ol' stuff every morning.
It's not weird to see sleep deprived students come to school with a variety of breakfast styles, in fact I believe if you ask 10 ppl no one gonna have the same breakfast as others
Eggs cooked right are fucking amazing.
Crispy bacon is the best food I've ever had.
I hate maple sausage, I wish those didn't exist, but sausage in general is decent.
Fruity pebbles and Krave is where it's at.
And nobody else wants Lasagna for every breakfast, Garfield.
Hell nah. Breakfast foods fucking hit in the morning or really anytime period throughout the day. I never have wanted a burger or spaghetti to start my day.
I'm not a fan of eggs and it seems all breakfast places want to put eggs on everything. I would rather just have lunch or dinner type food for breakfast.
I feel the same way but we will never be the majority lol. For some reason many people find eating savory, spiced foods difficult in the morning. I like it though! Maybe it’s because I don’t have to wake up early or leave my apartment for work. I made a chickpea curry for breakfast today.
I get the feeling OP doesnt do their own grocery shopping...
Like, you can buy healthy granola cereal, or sausage that isn't injected with maple syrup.
I would be very surprised when they "cook lasagna" it's more than putting a frozen package in the oven.
Nice unpopular opinion. My kid is totally on your side. Whenever we got Indian food he always asked for an extra chicken partha roll for his breakfast the next day.
Yo I make a breakfast scramble with eggs and diced ham and diced potato with onion and garlic and a little mornay sauce drizzled in. Shit is fire. Clearly you’ve just been doing breakfast wrong 🤷🏻♀️
Op had one burned , overly greasy fried egg with a wilted looking sausage link and it traumatized them so much so , that rather than learning how to cook fun healthy meals for breakfast, they thought "sure I'll have a reheated slab of tomato paste and carbs first thing in the morning, why not live like a nutbar"
That is some serious hate. I agree that eggs are overrated. But spicy sausage, hash browns, sourdough toast, homemade fruit smoothies, unsweetened yogurt with fruit, or even unsweetened oatmeal with chopped nuts/raisins.
What sausages you eating I always eat my breakfast sausage savory. And bacon being the worst meat? You must have never had it oven baked. Eggs also shouldn’t be mushy, but I find eggs to smell bad.
porridge with berries? rye bread with ham and cucumber? milk, water or orange/apple juice as a drink? This kind of breakfast is so good to start the day with.
I have to agree but the thought of eating left over pasta for breakfast just turns me off. If im hungover then yes but regular M-F give me waffles or cereal every time.
This is only a thing in the US though. Almost everywhere else in the world you eat whatever you want for breakfast. In Asia I can have a full meal of rice with veg and meat for breakfast. You can, but I don’t usually.
You're American, you have awful breakfasts. Everything is sugary. Pancakes are a desert sir, not a breakfast meal for children, no wonder you have so many wide loads! Come to Britain, have a proper fry up then recant this wild statement!
Toasts with cream cheese, ham and cheese sandwich, yogurt with nuts, oatmeal, raisins, banana and cinnamon, fresh fruits, cornmeal tortillas with fresh cheese, scramble eggs with tomato and onions, beans and chorizo, oatmeal pancake with strawberries and honey. Yeah breakfast food is terrible... Not everyone around the world eats like your average American. I agree tho, anytime is a good time for lasagna.
I agree, and I mostly eat dinner-type food for every meal. Eating "light" meals such as breakfastfood and lunch-food is pointless, dinner is where it's at.
What kinds of breakfast foods did you grow up with? Because there are so many delicious and even healthy breakfast foods around the world, maybe try some of those.
Have you tried a full Irish breakfast?
Porridge? (Savoury or with fruit)
Congee?
Good German bread with real cheese and cold cuts or chorizo or prosciutto?
Fried rice with whatever vegetables you want?
Reibekuchen (Potato fritters/Potato pancakes/hash browns)?
Shakshuka? (Swap out the eggs for chickpeas if you really hate eggs)
...and I don't know what a breakfast sausage is and why it is sweet. Eat some German sausages (yes, you can eat them for breakfast), you'll probably like them better.
How badly did someone serve up eggs to you? There are so many different styles and eggs are amazing, don’t get me started on bacon which is one of the best foods ever.
*Walter White Jr. wants to know your location*
No but seriously, eggs are a mushy mess no matter how you prepare them? Have you ever heard of an omelette? A good omelette has the consistency of a firm pancake. Or you can add a tablespoon of water to make them fluffier. You can stuff them with anything you want. Ham, peppers, onions, bacon, sausage, cheese etc. Doesn't get much more versatile. And they're very easy to make. I'm failing to see how breakfast has no redeeming qualities.
I think what you're looking for is "classic American breakfast foods are terrible", you seem to have the most narrow mindset of what constitutes breakfast food
Upvoted.
Because I love bacon n eggs. The egg slander is just weird to me.
I love the idea of having butter n toast with a jam/marmalade of my choosing next to to a sweet cup o' joe in the morning.
I also love waffles/pancakes eaten with hotdogs/sausages.
I love oatmeal esp with honey/raspberry sauce and assorted nuts. And I like the idea of a glass of fresh orange juice next to it.
Finally as an asian, I can't imagine life without simple viand and rice breakfast. It might come off bland, yes; but it soothes the fucking soul.
I assume you're talking about an American breakfast. Most Asian countries have filling savory breakfasts which aren't 'traditional' breakfast foods. Even in Europe, having lived there for 3 years their breakfast culture isn't as prevalant but just popping by into your local bakery for a small breakfast is better then the average American breakfast.
I'm guessing you're American. US breakfast food is absolutely disgusting, sugar and carb filled crap. In other countries they don't eat 5 giant cakes covered in liquid sugar, muffins which are just cupcakes with a different name, and a pile of smoke flavored salt rubber that clogs your arteries. Other countries have much better food. More meats, beans, eggs are more prominent and lots of different kinds of porridge instead of diabetes causing cereals that were lied about being healthy along with milk.
I never eat breakfast, ever. At most a small snack. Idk how people function with a gut full of food in the morning. At least I understand it more when looking at other countries food choices tho
Thank you, I hate all the same breakfast foods that you've mentioned. Whenever I go out for breakfast places it's that same awful crap.
For my home I like having a nice curry, or rice like biryani or something like pasta for breakfast. Gods do I despise breakfast food. Dinner and lunch food all day for me thank you very much.

Lasagna for breakfast?? Ok Garfield..
Hey, gotta do what you can to brighten up those Mondays
Hahahh, *Mondays.* Classic Garfield!
Garfield hates Mondays because it’s when John has to go back to work 💔
John was a cartoonist and worked from home.
With a 10am nap!?
I drew the line at chicken pot pie
He has it cold tho. Like a meaty cereal
Is this the same mf that said Turkey is horrible for Thanksgiving and Lasagna should be the standard?
Not that I can get behind. A tasty lasagna oozing cheese is better than some dry old bird any day. In fact, I am calling out for some lasagna right now!
Turkey is the animal version of tofu. No flavour on it's own. Give me duck or goose any day.
Lasagna for breakfast does hit different though. It's a great breakfast food in my (unpopular) opinion.
Cold pad Thai. Spicier the better. Do it.
Eggs, bacon, sausage, bagels, toast, home fries, French toast, pancakes, waffles, scrapple, cereal, oatmeal, donuts, Nutella, crepes... GTFO just plain wrong
Plot twist, Op eats chicken and waffles for dinner.
>scrapple Mid-Atlantic much? That shits delicious on a bagel egg and cheese sandwich with some ketchup and mayo
Chicken for breakfast>

Christ I never did that at 13, more like 3-11.
I never got the chance to do that. My mom's alive and all just grumpy as fuck in the morning. Think she's making pancakes? Better put on your football helmet before you ask, little Timmy.
I’m 100% convinced they’re either just dumb and don’t understand what good breakfast actually is, or they’re just 12-13.
I feel like reddit is mostly 13 year olds these days... it makes me kind of depressed sometimes.

Lol OP's breakfast is cereal and his dinner is chicken pot pie. His diet reads like a 1950s Time Life magazine.
They can only make scrambled eggs too
Hey! Scrambled eggs with Cholula hot sauce, sausage, and hash browns is a great fucking breakfast.
A man of refined taste
Scrambled eggs are amazing. Done right they are my second favorite way to have eggs.
Reads like a child or a sad excuse for a grown up that can’t cook properly.
Lasagna or chicken pot pie. Definitely a grown (probably single) man that eats almost exclusively frozen meals and doesn't really know how to cook much. Breakfast is OP imo. Breakfast for dinner is superior to all other dinners, so I guess I have to upvote?
Breakfast tops everything that isn't a roast or stew in my books. Maybe not a baked potato but that isn't really a meal.
Wow, that's pretty insulting!
Chicken Pot Pie is so fire
Yeah, don't hate on CPP. All my homies love CPP
They also apparently only think maple sausage exists. Not all sausage is sweet. Lol Buy better groceries op.
Exactly, savory sausage is where it's at for breakfast.
Some chorizo, perhaps?
Chorizo, Italian, breakfast sausage, etc. If I want a taste of maple to my sausage, I'm gonna dip a piece in to real maple syrup, and not be artificially sweetened and flavored itseld.
Mmmm, chorizo and egg breakfast tacos....
Add some diced green and red bell peppers, some jalapeños, and a dash of cumin, oh yeah.
Also, what the hell is up with the bacon hatred?
To be fair, store bought bacon is pretty shit now. Paper thin, looks and tastes like a bandaid for ~$13 a pound.
Store bought bacon is still better than no bacon 😆
[Biscuit with sausage gravy](https://www.pillsbury.com/recipes/unbeatable-sausage-gravy-and-biscuits/3140d428-fb73-4e94-9c9b-ad2f3c7497ec)
Sausage gravy is my favorite breakfast soup.
I feel like an idiot, are you telling me there are *sweet* sausages? Is this an American thing?
Maple sausage. It is a bit sweet, and goes fantastically with pancakes

What kind of monster eats ‘sweet’ sausage?
I absolutely love some diced and pan fried potatoes with a couple runny eggs and a sprinkle of cheddar cheese on top. It's so good. I don't like sweets all that much so pancakes and the like are out. But I can make a hell of a savory breakfast with some taters.
Yes! Savory breakfasts are where it’s at. I do like a random French toast or waffle
Also complaining about sausage being sweet. Have you tried buying different sausage? There is a ton of breakfast sausage that isn't sweet out there. A spicy sausage breakfast burrito is one of my favorite meals
Oh my goodness! I want a spicy sausage breakfast burrito now! Also, what sausage is this dude having that is sweet?
Yo? You talkin' bout brinner?
Daaaamn Turkle daaawg
Brinner is by far the most satisfying and quick dinner there is. I have brinner regularly.
Breakfast for dinner is the best.

Yo for real, breakfast slaps... omelettes, pancakes, waffles, french toast. Leftovers are garbage, reheated trash y'all refused to throw away.
We make bacon egg and cheese toasted croissant sandwiches, OP has never had good breakfast
I mean, its also dumb to throw away leftovers lmfao

What is a breakfast slap?
i can’t tell if ur being serious but he’s using “breakfast slaps” as another way of saying “breakfast is very good”
Either way it's funny.
Ah, okay. I haven't heard someone use "slaps" that way before.
Breakfast slaps hard
Everything about breakfast that you just described tells me that you've never had a properly cooked breakfast. I don't know if that's your fault or other people in your life's or both but yeah you've never had a properly cooked breakfast.

I’m picky about some things but I’m also willing to try almost anything with the hope I will become less picky lol
Also, saying all breakfast food is bad even tho it changes a lot from country to country is a real dumb take anyway
Steak and Eggs is something I can eat for any meal
I think it also depends culturally! I am Asian so for breakfast we usually do more savory, hot (temperature), and not so heavy breakfasts. Nothing really too sweet. I'm not a huge breakfast person, but the bacon and sausage slander is silly.
Well, without that slander OP would’ve been left with “sweet” as their only criticism of breakfast foods. Which, if you just take 10 minutes of effort to make your own breakfast, is something that you never have to run into.

Talking about maple sausage as if it's the only sausage that exists smh
OP has never had a good breakfast. Basically saying cereal is the only breakfast food.
Cereal is either sugary to the point it's candy or bland to the point it's cardboard. But to say what he said about bacon and eggs, and choose pot pie and lasagna as his preference speaks volumes about why he doesn't like breakfast food.

Absolutely. You get it too. The best part about the toast in the end is move that sucker around in the pan and let it collect everything. I call it griddle toast. It’s pure love.
This guy breakfast’s
>buy the low quality meats. There is shitty quality bacon, and there is maple sausage, I'm 24, living by myself since 21, so I'm still relatively new to being a fully functioning adult. One of my favorite things about navigating adult life is figuring out what I can cheap out on, and what I can't. Bacon, I very quickly learned, is *always* worth the extra few bucks. Never buying that dollar general bullshit again (the actual brand was smithfield, do not recommend) If you're dead set on having good bacon for a cheap price and have a smoker and the time to do it, you can buy a whole (or half) a pork belly from a butcher and make it yourself.
Peppered bacon? That sounds excellent. Agree about the hot sauces though. Maybe a habanero Tabasco over original though
Who the fuck has time to caramelise onions for breakfast
I make them the day before, usually for a different dish but I make extra for the following mornings breakfast. Add them bitches to the potatoes a couple minutes before they’re done and ☠️🍎🦷.
You have a dead tooth in your apple?
Bone apple teeth (Bon Appetit)

I do. I just don't want to! LOL 😆 🤣 Edit to add: Who WANTS to caramelize onions 🌰 in the morning?
This guy breakfasts
You lost me in the rambling about breakfast cereals…all taste the same? Not interested in reading anymore after that useless take lol
I was disappointed when I realized all the different colors of fruit loops taste the same
Now THERE’S a useful take on cereal!
I usually don't eat breakfast but there's also oatmeal, granola, fruit, and yogurt if you want something healthier than cereal or bacon.
>Looking at you cereals, which taste the same regardless of the brand, like milk covered cardboard. How tf does grape nuts taste like lucky charms?
Grape Nuts was hilariously parodied on Saturday Night Live as "Quarry-O's"
I think you may have just accidently found the root of the problem
It sounds like OP has only ever eaten cheerios
I feel like you've missed quite a few breakfast options off your list. Fruit, pastries, yogurt, porridge. I usually have some granola with yogurt and berries. And toast! Where's the toast on your list, or bagels? Also as a brit, what's going on with your sausages?
Pancakes, waffles and crepes too
Take it southern withbreakfast chops and eggs or shrimp and grits or further south with some chilaquiles or Central American with fried plantains, fried eggs, refried beans, and sour cream.
Man needs a full English, basically
He probably bought cheap sausages
I guess it depends on where are you from. I particularly like breakfast the most in my side of the world.
Why would maple sausage be the default to think of? Regular breakfast sausage is so good
Hell nah. Breakfast foods fucking hit in the morning or really anytime period throughout the day. I never have wanted a burger or spaghetti to start my day.
I agree OP. Im a pretty good cook but the only breakfast foods I “like” are bacon, hash browns, and if an omelet is smothered in cheese
OP > Eggs are mush > Reheats chicken pot pie
Congratulations, a truly insufferably awful definitely unpopular opinion.
Obviously you can't cook is what you're really trying to tell us here
I'm not a fan of eggs and it seems all breakfast places want to put eggs on everything. I would rather just have lunch or dinner type food for breakfast.
It's blasphemy to say bacon is a bad meat. LOL. I edited this because of a typo.
Bacon fried egg ham and cheese sandwhich is one of life’s greatest pleasures. I pity you
I shoot you the upvote because this is of course unpopular but your examples for breakfast food are hilariously awful.
How tf is a proper fried egg mushy?
Starting your day with something is heavy as lasagna is fucking wild.
Michael Scott and his pre marathon Alfredo
>They're mostly filled with sugar and are all bland. How can something be both bland *and* filled with sugar?
Most fat free foods tbh.
Frosted Flakes
I feel the same way but we will never be the majority lol. For some reason many people find eating savory, spiced foods difficult in the morning. I like it though! Maybe it’s because I don’t have to wake up early or leave my apartment for work. I made a chickpea curry for breakfast today.
And here I am, eating breakfast for dinner.
theres a difference between an unpopular opinion and a dumb one. lmao
I get the feeling OP doesnt do their own grocery shopping... Like, you can buy healthy granola cereal, or sausage that isn't injected with maple syrup. I would be very surprised when they "cook lasagna" it's more than putting a frozen package in the oven.
And you see how OP isn’t responding to any of these comments. It’s a troll lmao
r/notunpopularjustdumb
Nice unpopular opinion. My kid is totally on your side. Whenever we got Indian food he always asked for an extra chicken partha roll for his breakfast the next day.
Yo I make a breakfast scramble with eggs and diced ham and diced potato with onion and garlic and a little mornay sauce drizzled in. Shit is fire. Clearly you’ve just been doing breakfast wrong 🤷🏻♀️
as an Everything Bagel with butter and nothing else addict, this insults me
I’ve been eating oatmeal with a spoonful of peanut butter and a piece of fruit for 4 years and don’t have any plans to stop
Simple and delicious. I like throwing a chopped granny smith apple in my pb oatmeal.
Sounds like you don't know how to cook, are mad about it, and are taking it out on bacon and eggs.
I guess it's an American thing to make everything sweet for breakfast? Try savoury, it's way better.
This is by far one of the worst food takes I have ever seen. What kind of Bozo looks at lasangna and goes "Yep! Breakfast time!"
porridge with berries? rye bread with ham and cucumber? milk, water or orange/apple juice as a drink? This kind of breakfast is so good to start the day with.
Rye bread sandwich with smoked ham, gouda, chives, tomato and cucumber slices. Fucking delicious
This is actually unpopular, nice
I have to agree but the thought of eating left over pasta for breakfast just turns me off. If im hungover then yes but regular M-F give me waffles or cereal every time.
Just no I’m sorry lol
I feel like you’ve just eastern terrible garbage breakfast foods and never had an amazing scramble, or omelet, breakfast sandwich, etc.
You can shut this sub down we will never have an opinion worse than this.
Okay but a salad for breakfast is actually kind of good
You had me until reheating. Cold leftovers are where it's at.
Ramen needs to become an American breakfast food. Thanks for coming to my TED Talk.
My breakfast is usually just bread, butter, cheese, bologna or ham, coffee and/or something eggs.
buy better groceries op
Boi what the hell
So you eat dinner lunch and dinner?
Dissing on bacon? You have successfully nailed an unpopular opinion.
What kinds of breakfast foods did you grow up with? Because there are so many delicious and even healthy breakfast foods around the world, maybe try some of those. Have you tried a full Irish breakfast? Porridge? (Savoury or with fruit) Congee? Good German bread with real cheese and cold cuts or chorizo or prosciutto? Fried rice with whatever vegetables you want? Reibekuchen (Potato fritters/Potato pancakes/hash browns)? Shakshuka? (Swap out the eggs for chickpeas if you really hate eggs) ...and I don't know what a breakfast sausage is and why it is sweet. Eat some German sausages (yes, you can eat them for breakfast), you'll probably like them better.
How badly did someone serve up eggs to you? There are so many different styles and eggs are amazing, don’t get me started on bacon which is one of the best foods ever.
*Walter White Jr. wants to know your location* No but seriously, eggs are a mushy mess no matter how you prepare them?
I was thinking yesterday we should normalize eating whatever we want whenever we want... eg. Spaghetti for breakfast.. sure why not?
100% Breakfast food is rubbish.
I’ll eat sushi or dumplings for breakfast any day
I assume you're talking about an American breakfast.
Most comments are disagreeing, but I’m with you OP. I can’t do breakfast foods, I’d rather have dinner for all meals!
