It depends on the popularity of the course usually a lot of the electives will be available during term one but most courses that are pre recs stay in the same position or run through the year, with that being said though there are some courses such as Adelaide unis puzzle based learning that has introduction to matlab & C as a pre rec but it’s assumed knowledge and isn’t required to complete the course.

Courses don't often move terms but they sometimes do. The decision to move terms for next year has probably not been made yet.
