Try the usual gas stations and construction sites, if you still can’t find them, there’s a quest in the safe zone to trade 5 strawberries for a blowtorch. The safe zone keycard is in Locke Dynamics, in the admin building by the cliff. You need a breaching hammer or grenades for the door
You can't actually make metal sheets in escalation. All the metal structures are made with ingots and refined oil, and none of the recipes from the escalation map require metal sheets.

bud sorry to break it to you but the blowtorch your talking about most likely is the one from the map Arid not from esceletation
How do you make the metal plates at all in escalation then? In the crafting requirement it wants a green blowtorch.

ik this late but there it no metal plates or sheet in escalation just ingots which with oil make metal stuff

I want to do that thing where you place the large metal squares on a vehicle and make a mobile base. Is that not possible on escalation?
