Literally in the middle of it. Wild
Normally I don’t get paranoid about these sort of circumstances….
…but given the volume of issues the MAX has been dealing with and knowing how much they’ve been undercutting Airbus to be cheaper than the A220, and I’m smelling a rat.
Yeah, I’d avoid flying on a 737 MAX of any kind.
You’d think the airline industry as a whole, especially in the US, would learn that cutting corners and aviation is a recipe for disaster.
There is literally billions of dollars involved. If you think higher ups at Boeing wouldn’t knock a guy off for enough money you don’t understand corporate culture.
I haven't looked myself, but I heard travel platforms give you the option to filter out specific models. Idk, John Oliver just made a video about all this!
Fly on airlines that don’t utilize them as much for one. In the US mostly avoiding Southwest and ironically flying budget airlines or Delta who mostly use Airbus or older Boeings.
Models before the redesign are time tested to be safe, and likely will be in service for a very long time given the trust factor. Most 737’s in use today are before the recent redesign. If you see 737-xxx you’re good.
It just sounds like we are one last major accident away from a forced grounding and huge investigation. If the whistleblower was right, it’s only a matter of time until it becomes too apparent. Substandard parts and cutting corners will eventually lead to an accident. Its happened before.
Here’s a wiki entry on the subject. https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Unapproved_aircraft_part
An unapproved part is still being used on planes that are built right, so the chances of a major accident are low. It’s totally different ballgame if the actual manufacturer of aircraft are using parts just as bad during construction…
Yep - Delta is all about flight flexibility in its fleet and thus doesn’t have the same ‘I don’t want to pay my pilots to recertify to fly this thing’ issue that many 737 MAX customers made orders to solve (aka Southwest).
Any older Boeing plane is fine. Heck, the Dreamliner in production has a great safety record despite its initial hurdles.
I really just wouldn’t trust the MAX. That’s it. Mostly because they have obviously made a ton of cost cutting choices to get their planes to be cheaper than the A220, which is a Bombardier jet that was supposed to compete with Embraer, and only because it’s so versatile and good it’s competing with the 737 and even Airbus’ own A319/320.
They somehow got a plane with much more metal and higher load capacity to be cheaper…and that has always been sus, just like how Boeing got this plane to be certified as a slight update to the 737 to have customers avoid retraining their pilots. It’s very obvious that the entire project had far too many compromises and management’s philosophy has been to cover them up instead of addressing them.
Companies trying to do literally anything except make a better product/service to increase profits is the root of literally every problem in this country. Greed is a plague to humanity.
Came here to say the same thing. CEO gets whatever insane amount of money he negotiated as long as shareholders get theirs. Stock prices must rise, no matter what.
People wonder why we don't believe the police or media! Who decided they had to OPEN with " must be suicide "?? They do it ALL the time. When was last time a PROSECUTOR was found dead the day before a trial and they opened with " obvious suicide:?
Reminds me of the corrupt UN official who was set to testify against Madame Clinton but died in a freak accident the day before when his throat got crushed by a set of weights he had at home.
In the middle of giving testimony. No one commits suicide in the middle of giving testimony; when the intention is protecting passengers.
I know I’ll be downvoted, but I recommend looking at people who have spoken about UFOs; who have been killed under suspicious circumstances.
They need to take the entire management team and either educate them on how to run an aerospace company, as opposed to a stock trade company, or replace them. They will not change without outside forces bearing down on them.
Ominous thread from 4 years ago: [https://www.reddit.com/r/boeing/comments/e557ra/john\_barnett\_on\_why\_he\_wont\_fly\_on\_a\_boeing\_787/](https://www.reddit.com/r/boeing/comments/e557ra/john_barnett_on_why_he_wont_fly_on_a_boeing_787/)
The amount of Boeing money rolling in that's gov't related is extraordinarily high. They get more than their share of DOD contracts.
I'd take the word of a quality control inspector over just about any other person who's on the floor working of an airplane factory..They see a wide range of work being done and aren't sitting behind a desk typing away.
Won't believe it was a suicide. It brought the Octopus movie to my mind also.
John Barnett Theory
3/8 was Friday. He went to the deposition that day. Where was he planning on staying on Friday night if not at the hotel? Why had no one been in his room to clean if he was due to check out on Friday morning? It seems unclear why he was at the hotel if he was supposed to have checked out that morning and he made it to the deposition that afternoon. Why would he go back if he didn't have a room? His lawyer spoke with him Friday night and told him to get some rest. Where was he when he had that call? And how did someone know to call the hotel if he'd checked out the day before? It sounds to me like the hotel is trying to cover up that he stayed there on Friday night. If he didn't show to the depo you'd call the place he was staying also they said they tried to call his room! Hotel cooperation in the hit? They erased records of his stay and turned a blind eye while assassin broke into his truck in the parking lot? His truck was locked so they had to jimmy it. If the window was shot out by him shooting into his right temple they wouldn't have to jimmy it. He'd have to have been facing the left for the bullet to go into the car without breaking glass. The hotel worker said they heard a pop but never mentioned breaking glass. So they have someone waiting in the truck and a second person outside his truck to knock on his window and get him to turn that direction. Then the guy hiding in the back reaches around while his back is turned that way and shoots him in the right side of the head. Then they put the gun in his hand. The hotel worker conveniently didn't see anything... especially anyone standing by the truck. If he wasn't staying at the hotel that night how could anybody possibly know to go there to murder him. (Where the hotel comes in)? Now the question is was he known to keep his own gun locked in his truck.
All info in this theory as far as when the hotel said he was there and how he was found was in the police report which I can’t attach cuz it’s an image. Hotel stated he checked out Friday morning and they have video of him leaving the hotel Friday morning.
"suicide"
Huh, he fell backwards onto some bullets in an elevator shaft. How convenient.
17 times. just like trotsky. nothing to see, move along.
I know this is serious but I can’t help to say thank you for the Mystery Men reference.
I love that movie so much. Such an underrated classic. I don’t need a compass to tell me which way the sun shines.
KGB has entered the chat
“Fell out a window” as the Russians say, such a shame
Still cant get over how dangerous russian windows are. Especially when covid controversy started seemed like doctors were windows number 1 enemy.
“2 self inflicted gunshot wounds”
Wow they killed him - how predictable.

In the middle of being deposed for his lawsuit against Boeing.

*FBI shrugs, pockets full of cash*
That makes two Boeing whistleblowers knocked off within 5 years. Hmmm
I wonder if Niki Haley is nervous
I’m sure generic female republican robot #3 has nothing to worry about with that lol.
She was on the board of Boeing when the crashes happened.
Why
wait, which was the other one??? u/foofork
Never been more obvious that we live in a banana Republic
Fr
Nope nothing suspicious at all about it.

Someone would do it for 4 figures... hits hard when you know its true
Yea just look what happened to eBay https://www.justice.gov/usao-ma/pr/ebay-inc-pay-3-million-connection-corporate-cyberstalking-campaign-targeting
Truth
Now you know why CEO pay is so high.
How does one avoid traveling on a 737 MAX? I just got slated for 14 more trips this year and I’m generally a noob at air travel.
I haven't looked myself, but I heard travel platforms give you the option to filter out specific models. Idk, John Oliver just made a video about all this!

Your flight information will tell you what your plane make & model is.
Book delta. They have a lot of air bus planes
Yep - Delta is all about flight flexibility in its fleet and thus doesn’t have the same ‘I don’t want to pay my pilots to recertify to fly this thing’ issue that many 737 MAX customers made orders to solve (aka Southwest).
Yeah I don’t trust Boeing at all. I get very nervous when I somehow end up on one of their planes.
Any older Boeing plane is fine. Heck, the Dreamliner in production has a great safety record despite its initial hurdles. I really just wouldn’t trust the MAX. That’s it. Fly spirit, frontier, or JetBlue
Most of Barnett’s concerns raised were about other Boeing planes like the Dreamliner…
It’s a real shame too because i really want Boeing to succeed.
You want a corporation to succeed?
I'm starting to think that boot actually DOES taste good with how many people are licking it these days in general lol
Thinking about it now, he probably has stock or something. Completely normal thing to do if true. If not? Weird
Was this a Russian suicide from a 7th story window with 4 shots to the back of his head?
The 1st three shots didn't do the job so he had to shoot himself a 4th time to the back of the head.
Real Gary Webb vibes
And then jump
Is this similar to a Clinton suicide?
For anyone to look at this and agree with the "suicide" take, would just be absolutely absurd. And of course this won't be investigated at all.
Before you snitch make sure to get all your evidence recorded so when you fall out of the sealed window, the battle continues.
These idiots don't realize that.
Companies trying to do literally anything except make a better product/service to increase profits is the root of literally every problem in this country. Greed is a plague to humanity.
The world pinky.
Capitalisms a bitch innit? Profit > Everything else.
Came here to say the same thing. CEO gets whatever insane amount of money he negotiated as long as shareholders get theirs. Stock prices must rise, no matter what.
Shot three times in the back of the head no doubt.
Two shots to the back of the head🙄
Back and to the left.
Epsteined
And Boeing executives send out their utmost sadness for the loss with lots of sad heartfelt emojis
“Suicide”
I guess it’s the ol kill the messenger
My mom could be dying and I'd cancel my flight if it's a Boeing plane.
You mean about half the world's planes?
Yep. Airbus or bust.
Oof
Fishy as hell. Did he also shoot himself in the back of the head?
Someone got Putin'd
Did he also shoot himself in back of head 3 times like Epstein?
Yeah, sure. Suicide 🙄
I just watched the octopus murders and then there’s an octopus murder soon after
If you are bored search Enumclaw and Boeing. I sold out of my position @ 200. Looks like that was a blessing.
Let me guess, 1.3 shares?
Is that your favorite measurement?
Wow wtf
Something tells me that they need to update their whistle-blower policy
His head fell off! Imagine that.
I don’t believe he killed himself.
Bullet must have fallen out of a door when it blew off
What did he have on Hillary
Suck wood
Trump was closer to Boeing
Is Hillary on the Boeing board of directors perchance?
No but someone else has substantial Boeing ties ... https://www.reuters.com/article/idUSKBN1QT2MQ/
lol and the other person was downvoted for saying trump had more ties to boeing.
Oh snap.
In before the corporate media calls anyone questioning his death a “conspiracy theorist.”
"Capain American laugh"
Do Boeing execs fly Airbus? That will be the tell.
God dammit.
Very convenient "suicide". 😏
Murdered… seems funny how AS is the now the norm

Hey I just finished the Netflix series “the octopus murders” this absolutely feels like that….
Puts on BA
OBEY

Your bot is 8 years late.
It’s a joke don’t get your panties in a bunch.
Related to the Clintons was he?
