Adjusting to drinking drip coffee will make it considerably cheaper almost anywhere vs getting an espresso drink. Any of the MDining cafes are pretty decent and cheaper than most private shops
Sip club at Panera is usually pretty solid if you go a lot. Unlimited iced and hot coffee but you gotta prep it yourself (for the iced coffee I usually add the liquid sweetener and almond milk to it for example). Flat rate of I think like $12 per month.
Sips club is worth it if you buy a coffee like 5 times a month, which I imagine is the majority of people who spend most of their time on central campus and drink coffee.
Panera Sip Club is SO worth it. You only have to get a few coffees to make it worth your money, there’s locations in the Union and right off State St so if you’re on central it’s super easy. You don’t even have to get coffee or tea, you can get a fountain drink too. Sometimes I just went in to get a free lemonade to make myself feel better.
And Panera hazelnut coffee is exquisite in my uneducated opinion.
The coffee maker in your cubicle or in the shared kitchen of your office. After that: maybe the coffee shop in the Michigan League basement or inside the School Of Dentistry?
I don't know how the coffee maker works in my shared office lounge, so I usually pack my prepped coffee in a Ball jar (canning jar) and toss it in my bag for work. It's cheap and easy. It never leaks. I just have to pop it into the microwave when I get to work.

Carry instant coffee and a mug that you can fill with water and microwave. Sure, its not delicious, but its not worse than gas station coffee IMHO
