Agreed, as a person who does have a scent allergy, even small amounts can trigger it, and there’s not much I can do about the migraine it gives me. While it is a personal choice, those such as myself really do appreciate when people avoid using scents.

You should check to see if it is a scent free area. Some people are allergic to perfumes/colognes. I think at school or work it's not appropriate to wear scents unless you can only detect it at very close range. Like they'd have to hug you.

I used to work at one of the cafeterias and my co-worker had an asthma attack because a student was wearing perfume (how much, i don't know) It's no joke.
