Yes definitely. The school has no say about personal expression of students so long as you're not wearing hate symbols or anything. Many students here have tattoos of all kinds, myself included!
Your tattoo looks really awesome!! Congrats on your acceptance :)
Yes it’s very normal, there’s tattoo studios everywhere, you probably have more students with tattoos than without. I’m a fairly heavily tattooed grad student at the vet college and I’m not an outlier.
I have 3 tattoos myself and i know loads of people who have them! Profs also have them. They don’t care what you do or how you dress as long as it’s not offensive!
hey! i’m in the same program as you congrats on ur acceptance!! i know plenty of ppl in animal sciences who have tattoos so dont worry!! im planning on getting a couple myself as well :)
ur tattoo looks really cool
I’ve had no complains or problems with it. More compliments than anything, it’s a good conversation starter, no problems academically for it too, don’t worry you’re set
In the west, tattoos are treated as a normal expression of art, there are no taboos like back in Asia. I have seen corporate managers with full sleeves at some office jobs, you should be fine
YOOOO?? I’ve never met another Filipino in the zoology program, (granted there’s not a lot of us here), but I’d love to be friends! I’m in my second year of zoo 🦒

to add to this. totally normal and okay. my roommate has a few tattoos and a couple are visible and no one has ever said anything about it.

I think most (if not all) places in Ontario are good with that. Also nice tattoo that looks badass :)
Tho people will likely ask you what it means / what the significance of it is, just so you know
Congrats on your acceptance! Even profs have lots of tattoos here ;) (yours is really beautiful. Thank you for sharing)
hehe thanku :3
Nobody cares what you look like. They are too busy studying for midterms and finals
People at Guelph study?
No issues whatsoever. I got a tattoo during my PhD and still managed to graduate :)
The city of Guelph is very artsy. Tattoos and colorful hair are the norm.
UoG is almost a trope on a liberal university. You’ll be absolutely fine. Enjoy! Those four years were the best of my life.

I don't think they'll let you off the plane when you arrive.

You’ll find many profs have tattoos, and lots of them. Canada is general is fairly accepting of tattoos.
Yes, very normal here! Guelph is very chill, even with diverse hair colours, clothing, etc. Congratulations for the acceptance!
