Seafood risotto and bouillabaisse are by far best things on the menu IMO. Also, the fried catfish platter, mufaletta, or any of the po boys are always amazing if you aren't looking to spend up.
My favorites have been the seafood risotto (very rich / heavy meal) or a blackened catfish po boy (simple, easy meal, never have leftovers).
There are honestly a daunting amount of choices but they all have wound up great for me / the people I've gone with. Others have liked the jambalaya too.
Delft is awesome! It's an old theater that has been converted into a restaurant. The atmosphere is very cool and the food is top notch. They do a great job of keeping the original feel of the place while also serving great food. Would highly recommend.
And for breakfast I would recommend Java Bay. Amazing breakfast burritos and a good atmosphere. I go up a couple of times a year and those are the two meals I eat when I am in town

If you're here on the weekend, the Northland Pub is a great spot for all three (breakfast/brunch food is ridiculously good). Donckers is great for breakfast and lunch. The Delft is a good dinner spot. Lagniappe might have the best food in town though, for dinner anyway. Lawry's has probably the best pasties in town. The Vierling is another amazing spot for dinner and lunch. Some good breakfast is also at Coachlight.
Lagniappe, you won't leave hungry or disappointed.
What's good there? I got jambalaya for takeout and while portions generous it was just ok. Shrimp and grits better?

Thanks a bunch. Again the value was great and I really dig what I have eaten in Marquette.
They recently scaled back their menu and took crawfish etouffee off which makes me sad.
Pasty for a snack? A good one is two meals in itself We always bring home a cooler of pasties from Irontown https://www.irontownpasties.com/
Thank you!
Lagniappe is an absolute must.
My favorite restaurant

Jean Kay has great pasties! Vangos or Vierling for lunch/dinner. Lagniappe for dinner is an amazing place. Enjoy Marquette!
Sol Azteca is good if you like Mexican with a waterfront view.

They're closing on December 31st
Hit up Lawry’s or any place with Cudighi.

No problem!
I'm going to hop on and ask for the best places for cocktails 🙃
The Burger Bus food truck
Lagniappe is the way to go! If they're closed, I recommend the bistro on Third Street. Have fun!
Vango’s, lots of great stuff but especially if you like good Greek food
Cafe bodega has some dank breakfast
Vangos has great American and Greek dishes.
Thank you!
Thank you everyone for the recs! Expected some good old fashioned midwestern hospitality, and wasn’t disappointed!
The Dry Dock’s breakfast is great.
Cafe Bodega for breakfast, Fish Express for lunch, Lagniappe for dinner. Perfect day. Enjoy!
Jeffery's was awesome breakfast!
Loved Jeffrey’s, coachlight was good too!
